This. For all we know, the pictures might just be meant to show off the 3DS graphics engine, and they might not even be in the final product. Isn't speculating just wonderful? :sigh:
Yes, it is possible. There's a program called MAX Codelist Manager that can do stuff like that. However, to use it you're gonna need either a MaxDrive (A special USB for the ARMax) or a USB that's formatted like a MaxDrive. (That's what I've heard, anyway. I don't know how to do it, and if it even works, so I can't help you there.)
I really liked the Dark Thorn battle. The boss looked cool, the battle looked cool, awesome reaction commands and music... A shame a lot of the other bosses weren't as exciting. Sephiroth was also pretty fun, mostly because of how challenging he was at first. (Hated the battle with Storm Rider, though. Too long and honestly kind of boring.)
You can actually do it without the status mod and just use ability mods. That's how I prefer it.
Yes, they are two different people. Be careful if you're going to search for info about him by the way, it's pretty easy to run into spoiler territory.
Really? I don't think she's that terrible. I mean, look at the English voice for Sephiroth in KH1, I thought he was really terrible. To me she just sounds a bit like she's reading from a script, which granted isn't the best to listen to, but still, I don't really mind it that much.
I really like the English voices, especially Xehanort's. Though I have to agree that Aqua's voice actor sounds a lot like she's just reading a script... (Still, it could be worse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxPsucXGkm4) That new boss also looks pretty interesting. Gotta wonder who/what it is. *Edit: Quickly-thrown-together image for the heck of it...
A little extra info on those codes: They tend to freeze in battle unless you remove all their blue abilities (Donald's magic, Goofy's tornado, limits, etc.) You can also play as other world characters by using different UCM digits, but the "unequip blue abilities" rule also goes here. There is, however, kind of a workaround that allows you to use some abilities. Use an ability mod for the character you're playing as, and add "Arial Spin" and "Aerial Dive" to their abilities. Most characters can use at least one of those abilities. Goofy, for example, activates his Goofy Tornado when using Aerial Spin (I think...). Some characters, like Donald, activate their animation, but nothing really happens. I also recommend giving the character a few other abilities, such as Guard (can be used as an "alternate attack" button), Scan, and Once More/Second Chance (if they don't have those).
Ouch, getting your codelist deleted really sucks. :nono: Anyways, the code you're looking for is on the front page, it's the party mod. Code: Always have full party 4032F064 00130001 03020100 00000000 Always be alone 4032F064 00130001 12121200 00000000

About those ally codes... I can only get them to work on an emulator. When I try it on my PS2, I either get BSOD'd or the game freezes the instant I touch the joker. My question is; Are these "emulator only" codes, or am I doing something wrong? (Is there a specific area I have to go to before activating the codes, for example?) A possible explanation that occured to me: I am using AR Max. Could it be that those codes simply can't be converted properly to AR Max?
Heh, playing around with this is hilarious. Maybe I'm just childish, but something about Riku wielding his Keyblade with his crotch just makes me laugh like an idiot. :poketoungeb: *Edit: While messing around I found some digits to make him hold Oblivion in his right hand (haven't tested with others), though I haven't found any that were "perfect", only almost... Spoiler Code: B0 - Right Hand B1 - Right Hand B4 - Right Hand B5 - Right Hand B8 - Right Hand B9 - Right Hand Just check the front page... There's a party mod, and there's also a universal character mod, both of them can do what you need.
B0 - Right Hand B1 - Right Hand B4 - Right Hand B5 - Right Hand B8 - Right Hand B9 - Right Hand
OK, I'll try. This is how you joker: E0??XXXX 0034D45C [Place the code you want jokered here] ?? = Hexadecimal number of lines in the code you want jokered. Count the number of lines in your code and convert them to hex (Can be done here http://www.statman.info/conversions/hexadecimal.html for example.) XXXX = The button that activates the code. Here are some digits: Code: FFFE=SELECT FFFD=L3 FFFB=R3 FFF7=START FFEF= up FFDF= right FFBF= Down FF7F= left FEFF=L2 FDFF=R2 FBFF=L1 F7FF=R1 EFFF=/\ DFFF=O BFFF=X 7FFF=[] An example would be: E001FDFF 0034D45C 11CE0B68 00000318
FFFE=SELECT FFFD=L3 FFFB=R3 FFF7=START FFEF= up FFDF= right FFBF= Down FF7F= left FEFF=L2 FDFF=R2 FBFF=L1 F7FF=R1 EFFF=/\ DFFF=O BFFF=X 7FFF=[]
You can work around that by jokering your code. For example, joker your Mickey code to R2. Enter the Terra cutscene as Sora, but then press pause and skip the cutscene. While doing that, hold down your joker (in this case R2). That's how I usually do it. I think he linked the wrong digits. The ones he linked are the ones for dummy weapons, but the code you're using uses real equipment digits (the 29 in the last three lines are Kingdom Key). These should be the proper digits: Code: 0029 = Kingdom Key 002a = Oathkeeper 002b = Oblivion 0180 = Struggle Sword 01E0 = Star Seeker (KeyBlade) 01E1 = Hidden Dragon (KeyBlade) 01E4 = Hero Crest (KeyBlade) 01E5 = Monochrome (KeyBlade) 01E6 = Fallow the wind (KeyBlade) 01E7 = Circle Of Life (KeyBlade) 01E8 = Photon Debugger (KeyBlade) 01E9 = Gull Wing (KeyBlade) 01EA = Rumbling Rose (KeyBlade) 01EB = Guardian Soul (KeyBlade) 01EC = Wishing Lamp (KeyBlade) 01ED = DeCisive Pumpkin (KeyBlade) 01EE = Sleeping Lion (KeyBlade) 01EF = Sweet Memories (KeyBlade) 01F0 = Mysterious Abyss (KeyBlade) 01F1 = Fatal Crest (KeyBlade) 01F2 = Bond of Flame (KeyBlade) 01F3 = Fenrir (KeyBlade) 01F4 = Ultima Weapon (KeyBlade) 021F = Serendipitous Pair/Two Become One 0220 = Winner's Proof And a couple of "Beta Weapons", if you're interested... 002c = Detection Saber 002d = Edge of Ultima
0029 = Kingdom Key 002a = Oathkeeper 002b = Oblivion 0180 = Struggle Sword 01E0 = Star Seeker (KeyBlade) 01E1 = Hidden Dragon (KeyBlade) 01E4 = Hero Crest (KeyBlade) 01E5 = Monochrome (KeyBlade) 01E6 = Fallow the wind (KeyBlade) 01E7 = Circle Of Life (KeyBlade) 01E8 = Photon Debugger (KeyBlade) 01E9 = Gull Wing (KeyBlade) 01EA = Rumbling Rose (KeyBlade) 01EB = Guardian Soul (KeyBlade) 01EC = Wishing Lamp (KeyBlade) 01ED = DeCisive Pumpkin (KeyBlade) 01EE = Sleeping Lion (KeyBlade) 01EF = Sweet Memories (KeyBlade) 01F0 = Mysterious Abyss (KeyBlade) 01F1 = Fatal Crest (KeyBlade) 01F2 = Bond of Flame (KeyBlade) 01F3 = Fenrir (KeyBlade) 01F4 = Ultima Weapon (KeyBlade) 021F = Serendipitous Pair/Two Become One 0220 = Winner's Proof And a couple of "Beta Weapons", if you're interested... 002c = Detection Saber 002d = Edge of Ultima
Edit: Nevermind, Sephiroth&Cloud beat me to it :/
Yeah I have the same problem. (In my case, I think it might be because those codes don't work when converted to AR Max...) In your case, maybe you just need to mod Donald/Goofy to have their starter weapons equipped. If that still doesn't work, I've got some here that work for me (Note: It is recommended that you equip the starter weapon (Mage's Staff/Knight's Shield) to the character you're replacing, preferably through an equipment mod code) Spoiler Code: Donald -> Roxas Ally Got to Twilight Town to activate his voice 01C957EF 0000000E 11C957F4 00003131 11C95814 00003131 21C95834 00010002 2036D8C8 61786F72 2036D8CC 00000073 1032D21C 00000029 <--- This line is a weapon dummy mod code. Oh, ok. ^^;
I don't think you're gonna find a "code" for that. Ever. I have a menu translation .pdf lying around somewhere. Alternatively, there's also some dude who's working on a menu translation patch for the game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vEyyiFWgwE). It's not finished yet, though, and I've no idea when it will be. *Edit: Here's a download link for the translation guides I have: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4ZL1BIIY.
Uh, hello... Do I know you?
