He put up a fight, it seemed everyone had been hit to a certain extent, although some people more so than others. Regardless, he couldn't help but feel a small sense of satisfaction. He almost felt proud of the others, despite their lowborn backgrounds. Even Conrad had acquitted himself well. Truthfully, he had almost forgotten their differences in the heat of battle. Now of course, all bets were off. Everything was the same as it had been before.

Caliborn answered, frowning at Mikasa's glare at Cal. He did however gently brush her off, as not to aggravate her. She was fearsome when roused and while Caliborn wasn't especially worried about her, he was more concerned about having an enraged Mikasa on a boat. It would be chaotic and probably a lot of effort on his part to calm her down so she didn't tear the whole damn place apart. He did however, take note of one thing. As soon as Mikasa said that she wouldn't mind taking the gate key, he took it. "Guild property Mikasa. I'll be keeping hold of this."
    "We're glad to have helped here Moka. Enjoy your lives and live peacefully. Bobo, would you mind taking us back to Hargeon Town- Actually do you know anywhere else we can land to get home? As you're well aware, my colleagues managed to upset some people."

    Dale had nothing he really wanted to say at the moment. As much as he didn't necessarily like Boreal coming with them back to the Guild considering who they were handing him over to, he couldn't object. With Caliborn and Mikasa there he was outranked and he figured he was likely in enough trouble as it was. He didn't need to open his mouth, throw in an unwanted opinion and make it worse for himself.

Caliborn said pointedly looking at Mikasa. His RPer was tired of this mission and far too lazy to question Therity's mastery of old magic that was fairly obscure. Almost as an aside as they went to leave, Caliborn slung the unconscious Boreal over his shoulder where so they could take him back to the Guild. Undoubtedly they'd be able to find a use for him, or lock him up. It depended on Evanora's judgement. RP owner, cut to the village please!

    Ra used Fire. He did 2 damage (With a bonus he did 3). With Magic and Weapon he did... 33 damage.
    Dale used Lightning Storm. He did the full 50 damage. With Magic and Weapon he did 86.
    They dealt 140 damage in total. Boreal is very, very down.

    "Oh fu-" Was all that Boreal could stammer before the enraged trio unleashed their magic. His final thought was that surprisingly Ra, the Golden Bird was leading the way rather than Dale. The wings and claws and all the icy armour around him shattered as he was blasted into the crystalline cage of Deliora, the demon. He slammed into it, making another crack in the ice before falling down, face-first on to the stone ground.

    "We did it." Dale said, heaving a sigh of relief. He walked over to Boreal, past the other two and turned him over. He seemed to be completely knocked out. Boreal's face was captured in what looked like surprise. He didn't expect to lose, did he? He almost felt bad for him. Almost. He stood up. "Let's heal everyone up. Is anyone serious injur-" His eyes seemed to affix on something behind everyone else.

    "Dale, care to explain what is happening?" The unmistakable voice of Caliborn echoed from behind the guild members, and he was looking straight at Dale and the prone Boreal .He quickly surveyed the room, the injuries, the few knocked out people lying around and the demon locked in ice. He folded his arms, walking forwards straight towards Dale. "Sky Dragon's Healing Spell!" Suddenly, healing energies shot out of Caliborn and surrounded everyone in the room, bringing them back to a fully healthy state.
    "Caliborn, allow me to explain all this-"
    "There'll be time for all of it later. I want to know who that is and what you're doing with that." He spoke, nodding at Boreal's unconscious body and Deliora.
    "This is my half brother, Boreal. He was attempting to free the demon Deliora to destroy it to avenge our father." Dale explained quickly.
    "Is this correct?" Caliborn asked the rest.

    "Thank you. Cal. We must catch up to them swiftly. Rest and catch up with us as soon as you can." Caliborn ordered. He wasted no time in activating his mist body, becoming one with the air itself and flying swiftly towards the mountain in a shimmering, twisting cloud. His senses, still keen guided him towards the mountain and its temple and he could feel the magic from here. Dale's brother? Boreal... Dale had mentioned him before, but this was strange. Why would they be fighting? And what was the powerful magical presence that he could sense radiating power?

    He had scarcely made it halfway to the jungle before a glider crash landed in a spray of sand just beside him, kicking up a load of sand making him cover his eyes. He shook his head, getting the worst of it off him and out of his hair before addressing the exhausted and beaten up pilot. The girl, Calxiyn it seemed.
    "Calxiyn, are you alright? What happened and where are the others? We are short on time." Caliborn questioned. Normally, he'd have been more gentle and slower with the questioning but there was more at stake right now and judging by Calxiyn's state they were almost certainly running out of time.

    "Thanks... I guess..." All of her energy had been depleted by the time she had poured her heart out to Evanora and the Guild Master's answer only left her wanting more. Thoughtful perhaps, but no more comforted. She was a wise lady. She gave out wisdom, but she couldn't provide her comfort. She wasn't a mother. She suspected that Evanora never had children and so never learned to be a mother. She nodded and walked away, feeling quite depleted and sat herself down. She almost went to the bar to get a drink, but some of the apparently other S-Classes she hadn't yet seen were busy drinking and fighting. She waved vaguely at Johanna in an attempt to get her attention to ask for a drink, but given what was going on in the room at the moment she didn't think she'd notice.

    "Thank you. I apologise for the conduct of my Guild Members. We'll have words with them shortly." Caliborn apologised, before getting off the boat and on to the island. He looked at it. Normally it might have been a nice place and he could have taken time to appreciate the significant wonders of nature, but they didn't have the time right now. They had friends in danger and it fell to the pair to rescue Dale. "Indeed. I want to know what they've been doing here. The job itself is vague, so I'd be interested in finding out about it." Caliborn's keen eyes surveyed the beach and sure enough, he spotted a path just ahead and began to follow it, moving at a brisk jog. They didn't have the time to be slow and he didn't want to enter Mist Body quite yet.

    Gaius used Cure on Ra. He healed 7 damage.
    Charlotte used Cure. She healed 10 damage.
    Veilen used Fire on the Vengeful Wyrm. He did 5 damage, but with a bonus he did 7 damage. With Magic and Weapon he did 18 damage.
    Therity used Aero. She did 3 damage, but with Magic she did 8 damage.
    Dale used Lightning Storm. It dealt 50 damage, but with Magic and Weapon he did 95 damage. Vengeful Wyrm took 35 damage in AoE.

    Boreal took 106 damage in total (Defence included).
    Vengeful Wyrm took 19 damage.


    Boreal used Frost Nova. Everyone took 34 damage. Ander was stunned. Gaius was down anyway. Charlotte was down. Veilen was not stunned. Therity was stunned. Dale was not stunned. Ra was fine because Charlotte tanked for him.

    Boreal used Brother's Bane. It did 75 damage.
    Boreal used Reaping Scythe on Dale. He did 45 damage. Everyone else took 26 damage.
    Dale took 120 damage.
    Everyone else took 60 damage (In total).

    "FEEL MY POWER!" Boreal raged, the Ice Dragon brought down from the heights of the cave. He drew up all of his remaining strength and unleashed it. A wave of ice shot out his body and froze many in place. He created a scythe of Ice and it summoned in his hand. He drew his arm around and swung it, many of the guild members falling to the sweeping blade, carving through them with contemptuous ease. Finally, as Dale staggered back, Boreal shattered the scythe and in its place recreated the icy whip, this time sharper with spikes and many tails. He struck Dale five times, forcing a cry of pain out of his Half-Brother with every vengeful blow. "Now you know how it feels Dale! Now you know how it feels to be unwanted, unloved and replaced! Now you know the torture you put me through! Now you know the burdens I bear, the way you made me feel for years! The way you made me feel when you, his favourite son, let father die to Deliora!" But he wasn't finished. As Dale fell to the ground, he began to pace around the room looking at everyone.
    "You all laughed, called me fools. Who are the fools now, Sapphire Eclipse?" He sneered, revelling in what he believed to be his moment of victory. "You were all wrong. You thought yourselves above me! You thought yourselves better than me, thought me a madman! And now you see my power. How could I possibly fail? Dare any of you challenge me? Is a brave man or woman hiding amongst you, someone who is stronger than I, more knowledgeable than I and capable of such a display of power? Is there such a person? If so, come forth coward!"

    As Boreal ranted at them, he couldn't help but admit that he was no match. Not on his own. Perhaps his Ice Shields, were they given to only him could have held him off long enough for the damage to be done, but he was powerful. So powerful. He hadn't realised that about his half-brother. His face was bloodied and cut from the whipping and his clothes too were spattered. Boreal's hatred of him ran deep, but Dale could hardly understand why. He didn't realise he had made him feel so... Inferior. But now, now it was Boreal who was winning. He clenched his fists. They couldn't fail, they couldn't fall here and let father's work come undone. He looked over at Veilen, the only person who was still standing.
    "Ra, Veilen." He said, a pained expression on his face. "This is it. We finish this now, or all is lost." With that, Dale stood and faced his brother. Beaten, bloodied, but standing in defiance. He raised his staff and prepared to utter his final spell to end this.

    Ra used Aero. He did 1 damage (lol). With Magic and Weapon he did 28 damage. He didn't stun either. (Turns out, Magic and Weapon really make up for things)
    Veilen used Fire. He did 4 damage, but with a bonus he did 6. With Magic and Weapon he did 19 damage.
    Therity used Aero. She did 4 damage. With Magic she did 9 damage. She doesn't stun either.

    As Crystallarax raged, the ground began to crumble. Each flailing strike smashed parts of the stone down to the levels below. It wasn't long before the entire ground collapsed beneath them, unable to support the raging Dragon. They fell through the temple, the dragon smashing through the stone until they all fell through the hole from earlier and landed in the cave. From within its glacial prison, Deliora watched them all. When everyone recovered, they could see the twitching Dragon surrounding Boreal's cocoon. A crack appeared in the centre, and it split down the middle. Boreal stepped out. He was winged, with a an icy tail with icy spikes at the end and razor sharp claws of ice on his hands. He looked at Crystallarax and sighed.
    "You did well, old friend." Boreal said sadly, before Crystallarax burst into a shower of fine crystals (Think the SAO death effect), light reflecting and refracting in rainbow colours as they dissipated in the air. He turned around and looked at the Dale, who quickly resummoned the broken Ice Shields. "It's time this ended. I've had enough of your intrusions in my business!" He walked forwards and spread his wings. He jumped into the air and beat the icy appendages behind him, taking flight.
    "Goodbye, Sapphire Eclipse." He spoke.

    Ander used Fire on the More Eagles. It did 4 damage, but with a bonus it did 6. With Magic and Weapon he did 23. The Eagles died.
    Gaius used Quick Blitz on Crystallarax. It did 5 damage, but with Strength and Speed and Weapon it did 29 damage.
    Therity used Blitz on Crystallarax. She attacked twice dealing 5 damage each (Total 10). With Strength and Weapon she did 28 damage.
    Ra used fire on Crystallarax. He did 5 damage, but with a bonus he did 7. With Magic and Weapon he did 35 damage.
    Charlotte used Barrier Surge on Crystallarax. She did 6 damage, but with Defence she did 11 damage.
    Veilen used Fire on the Eagles. He did 5 damage, but with a bonus he did 7. With Magic and Weapon he did 22 damage. The Eagles died.
    Dale used Lightning Storm on Crystallarax. He did 30 damage, but with Magic and Weapon he did 46 damage.
    Total damage to Crystallarax was 149. LOL
    Crystallarax's Defence reduced 24 damage.
    Both Eagles were dead.

    Crystallarax used Shred on Ra. She did 13 damage, but with Strength and Weapon she did 39 damage.
    She then used Tail Sweep on everyone else. She did 13 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Tail she did 31 damage. Dale, Veilen, Therity and Ander took 8 damage.

    Several cracks appear in the ground as Crystallarax attacks and you feel the structure becoming more unstable.

    "Oh this is most ungentlemanl-" The Duke sputtered, before the chaos of the fight began.

    Vance used Thunder on Everlue. It did 4 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 23 damage.
    Malkira used Blitz on Everlue. He attacked 4 times dealing 2 damage each (total 8). With Strength and Weapon he did 23 damage.
    Conrad also used Blitz on Everlue. He attacked 3 times dealing 4 damage each (total 12). With Strength and Weapon he did 26 damage.
    Rho did **** ALL! COME HELP US YOU IDIOT!
    Zéphyrine used Blitz. They attacked 5 times dealing 5 damage (total 25). With Strength they did 36 damage. (<--- What the hell RNGesus?)

    Total damage dealt was 108.

    "Ahhhh! Virgo dear, help me!" He waved a key around vaguely and suddenly from seemingly nowhere, a large made plunged through the ceiling, raining splinters and bits of wood down on them. She had jumped from some place within the house, crashing through the floor of the library, going through a wall and somehow ending up in Everlue's office. The two thieves would undoubtedly notice the large maid projectile that had launched through the house. Both of them looked very, very cross. Together, they began their attacks.


    Everlue used Diver. He can't be attacked this turn.
    Virgo used Earth Bounce. It did 10 damage, but with Magic and Speed it did 21 damage. Everyone took 4 damage.

What she said in the Guild, he didn't really mind but out in public they were the face of the Guild. If they got a bad reputation then they wouldn't get the jobs that they all needed to support their lives. Oh Mikasa, you can be endearing at times when you get flustered but the bad attitude really isn't what we need right now... "I see, thank you for telling me. At least he gave them some discipline.     Veilen used Fire on Boreal. It dealt 1 damage, but with a bonus it dealt 1 damage anyway. With Magic and Weapon it dealt 13 damage. Oops.
    Gaius used Blitz because he used Quick Blitz last time (And I actually noticed this time!). He attacked 4 times dealing 4 damage each time (Total 16). With Strength and Weapon he did 42 damage.
    Ander used Thunder on Boreal. He did 6 damage (THIS IS IT, YOUR TIME TO SHINE AN-), but with Magic and Weapon he dealt 16 damage. (Never mind. At least he wasn't the worst this time)
    Ra used Thunder on... Something. Going to assume Boreal. He did 6 damage, but with Magic and Weapon he did 32 damage.
    Going to assume Charlotte used Blitz because she can't user Barrier Surge. She attacked 5 times dealing 4 damage each time (Total 20). With Strength and Weapon she did 45 damage.
    Therity used Basic Attack (because she can't use Blitz). With Strength and Weapon she did 26 damage.
    Dale used Thunder Bullets. He shot 9 bullets dealing 6 damage each. He did 54 damage, but with Magic and Weapon he did 98 damage.
    Boreal's defence reduced 40 damage (And Iced Bastion reduced 60).
    Total damage dealt was 156.

    Boreal used Raging Gale. It did 12 damage, but with Magic it dealt 20 damage to everyone.
    Boreal used Cage of Condescension on Gaius. He was trapped for one turn.
    Boreal summoned more Eagles.

    Eagles used Peck on Ra. They dealt 34 damage overall.
    More Eagles used Peck on Charlotte. They dealt 49 damage overall.

    Boreal spat blood out of his mouth and snarled, a frown appearing on his face as the icy armour surrounding him shattered into pieces around him. With a sweep of the tendrils he swept everyone back.
    "That... Is... It!"
    Boreal roared. His once pristine features appeared bestial, primal as his rage was summoned from inside him. He raised a hand into the air. "Crystallarax, deal with these interlopers!" There was a blinding flash of white light. When everyone's vision returned, a dragon of ice loomed over them. It was large, almost as tall as the temple itself. It reared it's head, and somehow a chilling roar escaped the crystalline dragon's mouth.
    "Kill them... Or at least hold them off. I must get ready." Boreal said, his voice quavering as he attempted to control his rage. The crystalline head snaked down towards the guild members and roared again, and the chill could be felt by everyone even through the armour. Gaius felt it in particular, now lacking in his protective layer. Boreal turned his back and an icy cocoon appeared around him, the reflection of the dragon staring them down. The two Eagle swarms circled around the Ice Dragon, squawking as if alive as the great beast sized up its prey.

    "Oh bugger this!" Vance swore. Turns out, the plan hadn't even worked in the first place and now Malkira was bursting in. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. He stood up suddenly and extended his arm out. "I'm sure you have a game in mind, but I'm really not interested right now!" Vance fired a bolt of Thunder out of his hand towards the Duke. He was repulsive to look at and behaved like a pervert.
    "This is for being a frankly repulsive perverted fool of a man!" Vance declared. Malkira was here already, so the others probably wouldn't be too far behind.

    "Why did Eric and the fairies have to die?" She asked bluntly. "What did we do wrong? I don't understand. Why is it that in every mission I've been on, something has gone wrong? The first mission, we had to go before we saved the boy's soul. I don't know what happened there. Then Ezekiel attacked and one of our guild mate died. Then, in this mission the Prince died and Thea burned a lot of fairies to death. How can we stop them dying Evanora? What is it that I'm not doing? There has to be a reason for all this!" She explained it all, letting out her frustrations with the guild master. She felt a little better, getting it all off her chest. But she wanted the answers. If it was because they failed, they didn't try hard enough then... They had things to do. Something had to change. Because if it was them failing, then they couldn't let anything get in the way of helping people. She'd failed three times now. No more.

    "Thank you." Caliborn replied coolly. He heard Mikasa's muttering and she had a distinctly dark look on her face. He would have spoken to her about it, because there was no reason to be hostile to the man who had volunteered to take them especially considering the inconvenience that their guildmates had caused them. However, she didn't need a public reminder of her manners. He didn't want to embarrass a good friend like that, so he held his tongue. He stepped on to the boat and sat down beside Mikasa. "Once again, I apologise for my guild members. They're new, and some of them a little brash. I'd like to ask you something. There was a man with them, brown hair, has a dark look in his eyes most of the time and held a staff with an eye on the top. What was he doing? Do you remember if he made any effort to stop them, or at least attempt to reprimand them for their actions?"

    She had cried. She had cried for some time. Death, a concept she wasn't familiar with. She had seen grandparents pass away from old age, but nothing like what she had seen. Nothing like watching someone burn. Nothing like someone dying, being murdered by someone. It was wrong. It wasn't fair. It should never happen again. Prince Eric should never have died. He wasn't the best prince to his people at first, but he tried. He came back! He tried to fix what he had done and free his people! He freed them, but died for them. She was angry. Why did it have to be him? Someone who tried, someone willing to risk themselves for others like that? Never again. Why is it, that this guild fails? Why did we fail to save the soul of that boy at the cathedral? Why couldn't we save Prince Eric? Why did that guild member, Leviathan, have to die to Ezekiel? Why is it that every time I have tried to do something right, the mission seems to have been bittersweet or a failure? No more. Alessia stood up off the bed and walked out of the room. Her sword was strapped to her back. She had to have a word with someone. Evanora. She will tell me why. She's the Guild Master here. She can answer why we have failed, why people have died. She will tell me. And then I'll know what to do. She strode purposefully through the guild, her eyes forwards. Her hair, once brushed off her face hung over it like a dark shroud. She had not the will, nor desire to move it. She spotted Evanora and walked straight towards her, the bitterness and sense of injustice overcoming her usual, more positive attitude. She saw Thea standing there, talking to Evanora.

    She remembered. The inferno, the flames that burned the fairies to death. Death. This girl tried to attack the Guild. Who brought her here? She was the companion of a killer. She was a killer herself. They were innocent people. She burned them all alive. She turned them and their homes to ash. Fire, ash, burning. Eric. It all came back to fire. Why did everything seem to burn? Why did everything beautiful and kind have to burn? She burned them all. Living creatures, all burned. People. Burned. The boy from the guild... Burnt to nothing by Ezekiel's power. She clenched her fists and held back the anger. They didn't need to see. Besides, Evanora wouldn't answer her questions if she did anything to displease her. She wanted answers. She would wait to get them, and decide from there.

    "Evanora, I want to ask you something when you're finished." She said, lacking in the typical energy her voice usually carried.

    Ander used Fire. It dealt 5 damage, but with a bonus it did 7. With Magic and Weapon it did 18.
    Gaius used Quick Blitz. It dealt 2 damage, but with Strength and Speed and Weapon it did 27 damage.
    Therity used Blitz. She attacked 4 times dealing 5 damage (Total 20). With Strength and Weapon it did 37 damage.
    Charlotte used Barrier Surge. She dealt 9 damage, but with Defence it did 13 damage.
    Veilen used Fire. He dealt 4 damage, but with a bonus he did 6. With Magic and Weapon it did 19.
    Ra used Fire. He dealt 3 damage, but with a Bonus he did 4. With Magic and Weapon it dealt 30 damage. <---- Much better than Ander, so he should be more like this guy. Also Veilen should as well for that matter.
    Dale used Lightning Storm. He dealt 35 damage. With Magic and Weapon he dealt 68 damage.
    Overall , the party dealt 212 damage.
    Boreal's Defence reduced 39 damage. The party dealt 173 damage total.

Boreal exclaimed, his sense of humour suddenly awakened in a moment of madness and shock at what Gaius had said. "I was going more Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul, not some kind of weird hentai stuff, come on man!"

    Suddenly, a Gaia Bangle popped into existence on Charlotte.

    For the insult, Boreal used Punishing Flurry on Gaius. He dealt 10 damage, but with Strength and Speed and Weapon he dealt 67 damage.
    Boreal used Iced Bastion. He gained 60 armour.
    Boreal summoned Screaming Eagles.

    The Eagles used Peck on Ra. They dealt 36 damage. With Speed and Strength and Weapon they dealt 47.
