He watched as Onamakritos burn the hand of the rose. Nothing seemed to be happening. The rose said nothing at all that would be helpful and anyone could see that she was not going to give up any information. 'You don't fear pain or death, do you?' Jaden had said. No one was going to get her to talk. They had to be smart and lets face it the shards were anything but that. Carissa and Jaden said something was going on at the citadel. Really it had something to do with the hammer for sure. Carissa and Jaden went of to go do something leaving him be. He had nothing to do but wonder. It looked like he was going to have to do a request. He found the right paper work and filled it out. He sent it out as quickly as possible and it would reach the desk of both Carissa and Jaden. He had sent a request to see one of them, but he sent it to both only because it would be faster. He wondered the halls and reached his privet room walking in shutting the door behind him and sat on the bed. Things had changed and he was not sure it was a good thing. He was not sure what he could do about it but the opportunity would show up at some point he was sure. All he had to do now was wait it out.

Kalak had said something about probably being right about something. 'Jaden is known for his strategies. It's a good thing that Jayce is recovering, otherwise he'd probably fall straight into the trap.' She did not know what to say to this. Demi-gods could be trapped who knew. "Ready as I will ever be"

'Now by Melitele what other useful observations do you have and hell Dopplers are the least of our problems' Well clearly she could see that. Soon they were surrounded by ghouls, alghouls and rotfiends. There was a chance to fight them off but it was a slim one. Two Witchers were not enough to fight all of these ghouls, alghouls and rotfiends. Next to a man was two dozen graveirs. Soon someone by the name of Tobias showed up. 'If you wish to get out of here to alive, I have a request to make.' She was not sure she trusted this man but if Alastar want to find his way to Kaer she was the only one around that knew the way. Tobias was using threats. She did not seem to have any choice in the manner. 'There are people in my city who are killing my children, take care of them for me and let it be known that Oxenfurt is not a place for man anymore and I shall let you go' This was interesting. The man asked about her but she seemed to zone out. Alastar left while she was zoned out. 'Go ahead, don't be afraid, is there something you'd like to know, girl?' She snaped back to where she was. She had lots of question, but really no time to ask them. "Well", she hesitated. She was not afraid of the man at all but there was something to him. There was nothing saying he would do what he said. "You say that you will let us go if we take care of the people killing your children. I guess we have to trust each other that we will follow though. There is one thing I wish to know, If anything what do you gain from us taking care of the people killing your children. What benefit would you get if any from that if any." Most people wanted something for something, but she could not be sure about him. "I guess I will be going to help the other Witcher."

She continued on her way towards some building where she knew some magic beings resided. She did not know what answers she would get here, but she was sure she would find something interesting. She would get something by force if she had to, but she rather not. The city of New York was a strange one. A warlock, fairy or demon she had to find. She rather ask question involving the first two then to deal with a demon. Warlock could be expensive, but that would not be a issue in the slightest. With nothing else she might be able to get Valister to help her if things went bad, after all he wanted the same thing as far as she could tell. Brianne might help, but she was unsure of this. She wanted information, but she was unsure if she wanted to work with her. Warlock or fairy she was not sure which she would find at the location, whatever one was there she would work with.

'Don't ruin the surprise for everyone.' someone had said. Really there was not much to say to the girl. The girl agreed that the shards had some sort of trap most likely. 'They're a bunch of heretics who've got their hands on some powerful technology and allies.' Jayce had said. This was most interesting. There was a wounded Ancient God. Jayce had said not to worry about. They had to consider every possible outcome. 'Nothing appears to be out of the ordinary. Standard transfer, probably to a more secure facility.' "Anyone can make a transfer look standard. This maybe what the shards are trying to do." She might be looking to far into it, but her want to think of it all. She managed to make it to the other side of the cavern. She made it relief crossed her mind. Wait where was Lumen? She turned around and saw that the was a giant spider on top on Lumen. How did that even happen? Spiders would attack them or they would trigger them somehow. She was going to attack he spider, but for some reason she had no attacking spells and really Garrett had no idea how that happened. Maybe there was something missing or something. No wonder she had been completely useless. She did not have anything that would even hurt a fly. With the confusion of her not having anything that would be helpful here past her looked at Lumen with regret. "I am sorry", she whispered. She stood there with a hopeless look on her face. Rocks began to move around her not knowing what was going on, it just did. She watched as rocks first went towards the spider that Lumen was by then rocks went toward Lumen himself. She had no idea what was going on and only hoped that they would get out of this alive. Lumen.

With Aston not saying anything to him there was not much to do. He just stood there not saying anything mostly, because there was not much to say. They were going to look for some valuable. 'I managed to find Veceslav, Veera and Aaron but... We never got round to finding you. By the time we had managed to catch a break from the other drama to find you, Dopplers' Were these the same Dropplers that she had come across? "I see, well do not happen again. Next time you better come look for me." There was so many in the city. She never trusted portals. Despite, not having any warning or anything with the portals, she went along with it, because Garrett was so gosh, darn nice. She opened her eyes and knew where she was right away. She found her self in Oxenfurt town square. She looked around and spotted someone that was at the camp of Witchers. She looked at Alastar and took his arm. "It is not safe here lets get going." She pulled him so that he was standing up. (or whatever) "Dropplers are here. We have to get out of Oxenfurt and quick." Derrick was with him, so there was no harm it trusting him, after all Derrick knew how to pick them. The dangers of the city were on her mind. She was just here and got out and now she was here again. Luck was not on her side.

If that was enough after the Dopplers I end up finding ghouls. All the while looking for you. Hoping that you would show up." He had no idea what he put her though. "There was so much death Derrick." Derrick seemed to be not showing any emotion. "You have no idea, what I thought. After fighting Dopplers and ghouls. I thought I lost you. I thought you were dead. After the countless dead bodies, I thought you might be one of them. That I missed saving you. That you might be one of the dead." She was just happy to see him alive. "I am not strong enough to lose you too." She was not sure how the man did not see what he met to her. He was a friend. She remembered seeing him when she was training to be a Witcher. She was not sure what to do. She was just happy to see him alive. Derrick seemed to be not answering her. If he thought that he could avoid her he had another thing coming. That would explain some of what was going on. 'If the person doesn't come forward soon, the Clave will visit wrath upon the Downworlders' That was not going to happen, there would be sooner the demons come and rule the would then that happen. She took the paper and looked at it. It was somewhat odd that Brianne did not ask her what she knew. Another time perhaps. She watched them disappear, ah a barrier rune. She knew it well, you will want to be carful with who you use that on, she thought to herself. If she needed Brianne she knew right where to go. Now was the time to track down some magic users and she had a idea where to start. She headed off to the unknown.

She hoped that it was worth the trip a hour was a long time after all. 'You both probably know the Mortal Cup was stolen.' Was this what it was about? The Mortal Cup? She could net believe this first another vampire wanted to know about the Mortal Cup and now Brianne did. She was sure Brianne knew more about the Mortal Cup then the vampire did. 'You're both welcome to stay here, however you will be barred from leaving your room with a barrier Rune' Branne said. She was not to fond about this idea. She had her own place to stay, so that was no issue. She looked at the Institute, she did not think there would there would be trouble finding a room for her to stay in. So to keep them off your back, I will do what I can." She looked at Valister, who seemed to have the same idea she did. She wondered what the man was up to.
