Elijah couldn't take his eyes off Hannah. "Dad... could you give us a moment alone?" His father nodded and left for the front room. Elijah spoke in a low voice, "You're one of them, aren't you?"
Elijah's father laid a careful hand on the girl's shoulder. "You might want to slow down, miss. You're in rough shape." Elijah came back with a fresh cut of meat and a glass of water. "Oh, you're awake. I'm sorry if I frightened you earlier." He set the food on a small bedside table. "I'm Elijah, by the way. Elijah Von Cullen."
Elijah carefully placed the girl onto a cot as his dad came into the room. "What happened?" His father asked at once. "Not too sure myself." Elijah responded. "I think she's sick." He murmured, thinking about the girl's eyes. Elijah's father studied the girl. "Where did you find her...?" He asked slowly. "Just in one of the alleys." Elijah replied. "Can you do anything for her?" "Yes of course. It looks like she just needs something to eat." His father said. "Hasn't eaten for a while is what it looks to me." Elijah rushed to the front room.
Elijah held on to the girl. She's so light. He mused before picking her up. As he made his way back the butcher shop, he looked more carefully at the girl's features. He found he loved the way her hair waved around her face, and the pure sense of delicateness about her. He managed to open the door one-handed. "Dad!" He called, bringing the girl to the back room. "I could use some help."
Elijah smiled at the girl's soft voice. "Someone as pretty as you shouldn't be left alone as it darkens." He said, taking his hand back. "You're cold and pale, miss." He tried to say it as polietly as he could. "You might be sick. My father can help, if you come with me." He gently took the girl's hands.
Elijah carefully put a hand on the girl's shoulder, recoiling at the cold. "You're freezing." He raised the girl's head with a finger to look at her face. Shock registered on his own for a moment but he quickly composed himself. "Come with me."
Elijah started walking back to the butcher shop to tell his father where Angelyn would be. He caught sight of a girl going down a small back alley. Curious, he approached her. "Excuse me, miss, do you need any help?"
Elijah let go of Angelyn, smiling at her friends, enjoying the giggles and blushes. "Can we go now?" Angelyn asked. "I want to see what you got this time." "It's just a buck." Elijah said, ruining the surprise. He held back a smirk as the girls 'oohed' and 'aahed'. "Just a buck?" Angelyn repeated. "They're the hardest to bring down!" "Yeah," Elijah took a moment to be proud of himself, allowing his mini-fan club to gaze at him. "Anyway, we need to be getting home." "Right now?" Angelyn asked. "We were going to go look at the new stock that our favorite store has." Elijah rolled his eyes. "If you're not home by dark, I'm coming for you." Angelyn smiled. "Thanks!" Elijah watched the group run off. What am I gonna do with her?
Elijah snuck up behind Angelyn, wrapping his arms around her. Her squeel issued giggles from her friends. "Miss me?" He teased.
Elijah spotted his sister with a group of girls and decided to lay low and watch them for a while. He was always curious about what she did while he was gone.
Carl dropped a ring of garlic in the bag before looking at Van Helsing. "You have friends?" He quickly grabbed more arrows for Van Helsing's unual bow and put them in the bag. "You're not going to kill them are you?" He asked, half joking.
"A werewolf, and two vampires." Carl said, recovering from the shock and tossing a bag at Van Hesling. "The werewolf being the one you missed. The vampires being Dracula and the remaining bride. I'm actually surprised you didn't killl them all." He started loading things in the bag.
Carl spun around at the sound of name and 'going with'. He decided to let the cardinal talk with Van Helsing before inquiring where exactly he was going and what he was going to be doing.
Elijah slumped the large sack on the counter once he got inside the butcher shop. At his dad's question, he answered, "Deer. Where's Angelyn?" "She's out for a walk. Said she was tired of being inside." Elijah rolled his eyes and went back outside to search for his sister.
Elijah caught sight of a group of new people breaking apart as he walked back to his father's butcher shop. He only recognized one that he'd seen once or twice before, and the man was heading to the place he always did: the church. Elijah considered following one of them to find out about them, but he had to get back quickly and give his father his catch.

"Can't you do anything more?" Dexeon smirked, appearing in the doorway of Garxena's room. "You... haven't... won..." Takeshi said and then stopped breathing and moving.
