Sora took one step back, the ball soaring a little higher than before. He reached up and pulled it close to his chest, getting a firm grip on it to make sure he didn't drop it. A soft breeze went through his brown hair, the wind perfect. It wasn't too hot or too cold out, which is why he loved this time of year so much. He gripped the ball tightly in his right hand as he pulled back his arm and released it again, casually throwing it to his friend. He was glad to see Roxas again, and he could tell by the look of things that he really was doing okay after everything that had happened. Sora was sure it wasn't an easy thing to go through, the teen remembering back to what he and Kairi had gone through with their one massive issue. But they got through it, and Roxas and Namine got through their tough time as well. Namine smiled at the words, nodding her head slightly. "Agreed." The brighter landscape was really helping her feel more cheeful, though she was always happy with Roxas near her anyway. Even now, he was only a little bit away from her, Roxas and Sora throwing a football behind the two girls. She knew that he was probably keeping an eye on her, remembering what had happened last time they had been to the park. Ever since that whole thing, Roxas had been extremely protective of her, and Namine was thankful for that. She had needed that feeling of protection, and she supposed that she still did. She was hesitant to go anywhere without Roxas, unable to forget about all the other stuff that had happened when she was by herself. Still, she was starting to move on and get more comfortable with being seperate from Roxas in public places. But she still wanted him close, especially here at this place.
Yup. ;D I'm thinking pretty formal. You know what's funny? I own an adorable dress, and I can totally imagine one of the girls wearing it...
Sora brought up his arms and smoothly caught the brown football, fingering it slightly as he shifted it into this right hand alone. "Nice throw," he commented, bringing his arm back and launching the ball toward Roxas again. He and Roxas were just casually passing the ball, the two having just started a few minutes ago. After a phone call a few days ago, they had all agreed to meet at the park to catch up. He highly doubt they had anything eventful to talk about now, since Roxas had explained a lot on the phone the other day. He had told Sora about why they had suddenly left and what happened after that, making brunette feel some remorse. He and Kairi may have had it really hard, but so did Roxas and Namine. Still, he was glad that they seemed much better now. Namine's eyes flitted upward at the sound of rustling leaves, the girl seeing the tree covered in leaves abover her head. The weather was very nice lately, and today was no exception. "It's beautiful out," Namine stated, her eyes falling to the girl by her side. She hadn't seen Kairi in a while, and the last time they had been together, it wasn't enjoyable. But after everything that had happened, she was glad to see that her best friend was doing okay. Sora was really taking good care of her; Namine knew that much for sure. It was great that they finally were a couple, because they really were perfect for each other.
Islander- Falling Up
=) I'm sure we can come up with something... ;D
OOC: Yeah, maybe closer to 3 weeks, so that it's closer to late March. =)
Sure, we could bring back that one. ^^ And it was in the old thread. =) But coming up with new ones would be fun as well. ;D
OOC: Time gap time. :3 And since I led the last one with Sora and Kairi, it's your turn to do the big one. ;D
I don't know...we could always talk about old memories that they had from living in NYC for a while; that would be cute. :3 You have any ideas?
Sora smiled faintly at her reply, his blue eyes staying hidden behind his closed eyelids. He inhaled softly before releasing it, the air running over the top of Kairi's hair. That was the last action he took before he faded out of conciousness and into a light state of sleep.
Lights of Reedsport- Falling Up
So, the guys'll be tossing a football at the park and the girls will be sitting closeby? Is that what we had decided for the first gap?
Sora felt himself slipping quickly now, but there was something he wanted to say before he went under. "I love you, Kai," Sora stated, his voice soft and drifting slightly, showing his sudden tiredness.
Okay, so I guess we'll go with it. ^^
Sora felt a pang of warmth in his heart, and it made him feel even more at ease. He suddenly felt himself loosing his grip on conciousness, feeling as if he could fall asleep at any moment. It was true that he hadn't slept too deeply these past few nights, though that didn't mean he was short on sleep either. Well, that didn't matter now. He was going to fall into a state of sleep pretty soon; he was sure of that.
Yeah, that would take a lot of time. That's what I was thinking with the time gap situation. But you think that this is a good solution?
Sora softly released a breath, staying in that position. He was totally comfortable that way. Having Kairi in his arms was very soothing, and it made him feel as if he really were her protector.
That's what I was thinking. ;D Also, I did think of another concern. How much of this are we going to act out. We agreed the boys would find out...
Sora inhaled softly, his embrace around Kairi loosening ever so slightly as he relaxed. Just being here with her was enough to make him feel calm and serene. There was no need for talking; the silence spoke much more loudly. And in this case, that was a good thing.
Alrighty. ;D We could always have Sora and Kairi fall asleep or something, and then we can do the time gap to the future. I was thinking a 2-3...
