A movie has to be utterly brilliant if it ever wants to be better than the original version, IMO. :]

Halloween re-make did not exceed that... but it was still fairly good.

If you like horror movies alot, then yes it was good.

I think they went a little over the top with the sex scenes though... they really weren't needed.

My english class just recently watched the movie also after reading the screen play.

I do recommend it, because there are a few parts different from the book and movie.
