"Wow," Namine breathed in awe, her eyes wandering across the large room. Everything was decorated beautifully, and everyone looked terrific in their formal outfits and maks. Namine lifted a hand slightly, fingering her grayish blue mask. It was a little confining, but it added to the mystery, which only made Namine more excited. Sora looked across the room, seeing a ton of people already dancing and having fun. He scanned the room, trying to find the redhaired girl he loved. He figured it would be easy to spot her, but still, it was so crowded, that he wasn't catching her yet. Or maybe she hadn't even arrived. After all, it was still close to 6:30. He wouldn't have been surprised to find out that the girls were running a little late.

OOC: Time gap time!! ;D I can't believe we're doing this, Namine thought excitedly, standing beside her best friend inside the building entrance. Just that morning, Roxas had sat down with her, explaining that he had gotten to tickets to a masquerade ball. He had asked her if she wanted to go, and she immediatly said yes, which Roxas replied to with a smile. The rest of the day was spent at the mall. She and Kairi gotten their hair done, bought dresses, as well everything else they needed, while Roxas and Sora went shopping for tuxes. And now...now it was 6:30 PM exactly. She and Kairi had just arrived at the ball, which was already filled with teenagers and college students alike. I can't believe we're doing this, Sora mused to himself, nervously putting one hand in his pocket as he stood against the wall inside the main room, his best friend with him. He scanned the floor, looking for Kairi as dance music blared. Of course he shouldn't have been nervous, since this was Kairi he was going with. He smiled slightly at the memory of that morning, when he had asked Kairi to come to the ball with him. He had been shy about it, feeling slightly flustered when he brought up the question to Kairi. But the redhead simply laughed, saying that she would love to go with him. She was obviously excited for this, and now Sora was as well. He would do whatever it took to make sure Kairi had a fun night.

Namine smiled softly when she felt Roxas pull her close, the girl feeling much warmer now that she was close to him. She lowered her gaze to the ground, looking down at her feet. Sora nodded slightly, turning around and starting to exit the park. Kairi would have to stay at his house tonight, since Sora didn't have a house key for her home.

Namine smiled softly in response, seeing gentleness, love, and happiness in Roxas' eyes. That made her feel very comfortable, and she silently wished she could gaze into his eyes forever. When she felt a cool breeze, she shivered, the wind blowing over her open arms. Sora held Kairi closer when the wind blew, feeling her shiver slightly. It was really time for them to go.
Yeah, as soon as we find a good moment with Roxas and Namine to cut things short. =)
Namine tightened her grip on Roxas' hand without thought, the girl grateful that he was still holding her hand. She blinked one time before flitting her eyes up, meeting Roxas' ocean-blue orbs.

Namine brought herself up with Roxas' help, feeling a little shaky at first because of her groggyness.

Namine set her feet on the floor underneath herself. She gripped Roxas' hand more tighlty with her one hand and set the other on the ground, starting to push herself up.

Sora held onto Kairi's limp body tightly, though his grip was gentle anyway. He finished standing up, now upright as he gazed lovingly at the girl in his arms. Namine looked over at a small movement, catching it in the corner of her eye. She saw Roxas' hand and she smiled slightly, knowing that he was watching her and taking in her movements. The blonde girl lifted a hand, slipping it into Roxas' lightly.

Sora smiled softly at the girl in his arms. Kairi was adorable in such a sleepy state, though Sora thought she was always adorable. He leaned down and plant a light kiss on her forehead before backing away, that faint smile still on his lips. After a moment, he shifted his footing, starting to stand up with Kairi securely in his arms. Namine exhaled softly, her tired blue eyes falling to the ground. She blinked one time, trying to wake herself up. Even though she hadn't fallen asleep, she was still feeling groggy.
