It was a good chapter. =) I didn't see any spelling mistakes, but I did see gramatical mistakes. I know they don't show up on spell check, so it's really hard to find those sometimes. I also noticed tense changes a few times. But other than that, great writing. Hopefully you'll keep using spell check in all your future chapters. ;D
"Incredible," Namine breathed, that simple word leaving her lips. Her eyes wandered again, noticing how the lights gave the park a gentle flow. Everything around her looked incredible, and she was having a hard time shaking off the awe she felt in her heart.
Namine blinked when she heard a voice, her eyes flitting back to Roxas. She looked up into his eyes, seeing curiosity their blue depths. It took a moment before it registered in her mind that he was waiting for an answer to his question. She didn't know if she could find her voice, but she would try anyway, for his sake. "...It's...beautiful," she said quietly, only able to say those two simple words.
The trees were strung with lights, the bushes trimmed to perfection, flowers everywhere...it was stunning. Namine couldn't believe it really; she had never been in a place so beautiful before.
Namine opened her mouth to say something before closing it, unable to form any words in her mind. Her eyes wandered away from Roxas and she slowly scanned the area, seeing the other side of the garden behind Roxas, along with the building from which they had come.
Hope Now (Acoustic)- Addison Road
Namine rotated her body, her eyes catching onto a black form--a boy in a tuxedo. Roxas. The blonde girl lifted her dress slightly as she turned to face him, her eyes gazing up into his. Though she couldn't bring herself to show a smile, just to let him know how beautiful she thought this place was, she was sure that her delight shone in her sky-blue eyes.
Namine blinked softly two times, seeing the sky brightly lit. That alone was beautiful, but along with everything else that was surrounding her, she was stunned. She lowered her gaze and looked around her again, slowly taking everything in. Everything around her was so incredibly beautiful, that Namine didn't even think to smile or show any sign that she liked this place. So, in stunned silence, she continued to let her eyes wander over the garden.
Namine turned again, looking in the other direction and seeing even more lit-up trees. And...everywhere she looked, there was beautiful flowers. There were even rose bushes, which added to the beauty of the garden greatly. She lifted her gaze upward after a few moments, her mouth open slightly in awe as she gazed at the starry New York sky and listened to the gently flow of water from the fountain.
Namine slowly let her eyes flicker open, though the opened more quickly when she realized what she was looking at. A fountain? And out of the corner of her sight, she could see flowers and lights as well! Her eyes widened slightly in awe and she scanned the area, seeing that Roxas had taken her to a beautiful garden. Sora opened his eyes partway, his gaze falling to Kairi's hand that rested on his tux. He smiled faintly, glad that he could still feel her gentle presence.
Namine stopped walking, letting her hands fall slightly as she lightly gripped her dress. So, this is it, she thought to herself. Whatever "it" is, anyway... Sora smiled at the words, feeling warmth inside his heart. Without thought, he leaned forward, giving Kairi a light kiss on the lips before returning to his previous position.
Namine stayed silent, feeling anticipation inside her. She felt as if she were ready to explode, so very curious as to what Roxas was hiding from her. She walked forward, a little more slowly than before. "I love you," Sora breathed, speaking the words for a second time that night. He was sure Kairi already knew his love, but he said it aloud anyway, unable to keep it inside.
Namine continued to walk, feeling Roxas' gentle presence behind her. She could have sworn that she felt a very faint breeze, but she new that was impossible. So she ignored it, figuring that there must have been an open window somewhere. Yes, of course, that was it. Sora turned his head slightly, snuggling it closer to Kairi without thought. The air around them was still thick, but a sense of peace was starting to flow in as well, making things more relaxed again.
Namine nodded faintly, hearing the softness in Roxas' voice. This calmed her nerves, though she was still anxious to know what was causing Roxas to act so mysterious. She recognized that she would find out in a few moments, but still, the anticipation was driving her crazy! The girl continued to walk, keeping her emotions surpressed inside her. Sora kept his eyes shut, enjoying the moment of peace. The only explanation he could think of to explain this strong moment was that their love had grown since their last romantic moment, so right now was more intense because of that. Still though, it seemed like it had to be more complicated than that...
Awake- Seventh Day Slumber
Namine silently obeyed, changing her direction slightly as Roxas commanded her to. "Are we there yet?" she asked, starting to feel a little impatient. Not with Roxas, but with this whole situation. She had never really liked surprises, and the anticipation was starting to get to her. Sora inhaled silently before releasing it as a soft sigh, which was only filled with the content he felt. The air was thick with love still, and though he and Kairi experienced a lot of loving moments, none of them were quite as powerful as this one.
Oceans From The Rain- Seventh Day Slumber
Namine continued to walk, her smile staying on her lips. She couldn't help but wonder what Roxas was trying to do; she hadn't seen anything really, so she was still curious as to what he was going to show her. Her anticipation was growing inside her, and she was both excited and nervous to see what Roxas was going to reveal to her. Sora exhaled softly, one chuckle leaving his lips. Keeping his one hand on Kairi's lower back, her lowered his other, which had been resting on her shoulder. He let it slide a little bit, coming to a stop and lightly resting on Kairi's upper arm.
Namine's soft smile grew at the words, Namine taking them in. "All right," she said quietly, her voice showing some of the amusement she felt. She gently reached down with both hands, lifting her dress off the ground as she started to walk slowly. The aura of love was so strong around them, that Sora had a hard time catching his breath. Everything around them was so powerful, and even if they were good feelings, they were still very overwhelming. "Wow," he breathed again, more softly than before. This feeling inside my heart...I've never felt anything quite like it, he thought, trying to anazlyze why he felt so lost in his deep emotions.
Namine let her eyes close, the girl feeling herself grow warm from Roxas being so closed to her. She liked it that way, though; she always wanted him to be close to her. The girl relaxed slightly, Roxas' playful behavior making her feel that way. Her smile softened slightly, her quiet laugh fading. Sora gently pulled himself away from the kiss, feeling as if he needed to catch his breath. He lightly leaned his forehead against Kairi's, his eyes staying closed. That moment...the moment they were still having; it was so strong and powerful, that one simple, soft-spoken word escaped the brunette's lips without thought. "Wow."
