Namine kept her gaze upward, looking across the sky. It was unusual to see starts while in NYC, since the city lights normally made the night sky much brighter, and that in turn affected your ability to see stars. But tonight, the sky was full of stars, and it really did look beautiful.
Namine randomly gazed upward, her eyes opening fully as she looked up at the bright moon. The light shone down on the garden, illuminating the area even though it already was partially lit.
The soft wind died down, making everything around them still again. Namine opened her eyes partway, gazing at the lower part of the fountain in front of her without bothering to fix her bangs.
Namine felt a faint breeze begin to blow and she softly inhaled, taking in the fresh air before releasing it. Her blonde bangs were blown out of place, resting partly over top of her closed eyes.
Namine softly exhaled, lowering her head ever so slightly. Her hair shifted slightly, one or two curls coming over her shoulder and resting over top the front of her dress.
Namine kept her eyes closed, her smile becoming more faint on her face. Despite her shyness, this moment was still nice. She couldn't tell if Roxas was looking at her now or not, but it was okay with her either way. His feelings for her were so obvious and strong that she could never forget it. Sometimes, the magnitude of his love was so great, that it made Namine feel shy, just like she was at that moment.
Namine stopped biting her lip when Roxas lightly kissed her hair, that gentle gesture letting Namine forget her shyness for a brief moment. However, it didn't distract her completely, since her cheeks turned a little more pink at that moment as well.
Namine felt her small smile widen at Roxas' compliment, feeling shy that he would make such a bold statement like that. One shy giggle escaped her lips before she bit down on her lip, her smile softening as her cheeks started to turn pink.
Namine smiled softly, relaxing as a peaceful silence surrounded them. Even though there were noises around them--like the fountain and faint music, she was still enjoying the calm moment.
Namine felt her faint smile grow at Roxas' soft spoken words, the girl knowing that he was speaking the truth. "I'm glad you brought me out here," she said quietly, truly grateful for an opportunity to spend even a few minutes with Roxas in such a beautiful place.
Namine understood the logic behind Roxas' statement, but in this case, his surprise had made her very happy. "You know I'd never dislike any pleasant surprises from you," Namine stated softly, letting her eyes shut again. A faint smile appeared on her lips, the girl meaning the words she had spoken.
"Oh?" Namine asked softly, her eyes opening partway as she gazed at the ground.
Namine stayed in that position, also aware of Roxas' intake of air. He was so close to her, that she could even hear him inhale, even if the sound was very faint, mostly covered by the soft sound of music and the fountain.
Namine felt chills when Roxas' breath ran over the back of her neck, making some her blonde curls move slightly. Keeping her eyes closed, she took in her surroundings. The garden was beautiful, but if she had come here without the boy behind her, it wouldn't have been nearly as stunning.
Namine softly released a breath through her nose, her eyes flickering shut in peace. She absolutely loved having Roxas so close, and simple moments like this made her feel very relaxed and happy.
Namine's smile stayed her lips, her eyes wandering back to the garden for a moment. "I love it," she admitted quietly. Surprises really weren't her thing, but this...this was incredible. Definitly worth putting up with all of Roxas' mysterious ways.
Namine's soft smile grew slightly at Roxas' kind gesture, the girl feeling a pang of comfort when she felt his light kiss.
Namine opened her eyes and looked down when she felt a pair of arms being wrapped around her, the girl immediatly recognizing the gentle presence. A soft smile started to appear on her lips as she turned her head, looking over her shoulder at the blonde boy behind her.
Namine felt a faint breeze begin to blow, and it gently pushed some of her blonde hair over her shoulder. She exhaled silently, letting her eyes close in relaxation. Her right hand stayed still on the fountain, her fingers resting lightly on the edge as the gentle wind started to die down.
Namine turned around when Roxas' gaze left her, the girl facing the fountain again. She reached forward with her right hand, lightly running her fingers over the edge of the smooth fountain. It looked absolutely gorgeous in the moonlight, and she now understood why Roxas brought her to this place.
