Namine turned to face Roxas, keeping one hand on the back of her head. She was confused about why he was apologizing at first, and then she understood. She gave him a reassuring smile, a soft giggle escaping her lips. Even if she was still slightly stunned, she had to admit...getting hit in the back of the head with a piece of cake was pretty funny. OOC: Gotta go for the night. I'm guessing I'll be on around 6 my time or a little later. Bye!
Namine brought up a hand, placing it lightly on the back of her head. Her already-wide eyes grew in size when she felt cake and icing, which had collided with her hair at a great speed. Without thought, she brought her other hand back, starting to get the cake out of her blonde hair. Sora kept his eyes on Namine, unsure of how to react. He could tell that Roxas was surprised as well, and he wondered what would happen now.
Namine's eyes widened when she saw Roxas duck to avoid the cake, and now--it was coming straight for Namine. She shut her eyes and instictively turned away, lowering her head slightly. But it still wasn't enough. The piece of cake hit her in the back of the head, which made a cry leave her lips in surprise. Sora's chuckling softened in surprise when he saw Namine get hit, his eyes wandering away from Roxas and over to the blonde girl, who had her back to them. OOC: xD
Sora caught Roxas' eye and his laughter grew, the teen unable to keep it inside. Oh man, the look on his face! Sora laughed, seeing the icing and bits of cake still sticking to Roxas' face in certain places. Namine kept her eyes on Roxas, though she couldn't see him as well now since he had turned to face Sora and Kairi. So she stood behind him, keeping her eyes on him despite the fact that she couldn't see his expression anymore. OOC: Yeah, it is. And we have no idea why. 0.0
Sora's smile grew at Kairi's laughter, and his chuckles grew in volume as well. Wow, that was too funny! Namine's giggles grew louder at Roxas' huff, the girl thinking he was absolutely adorable when he was in shock. OOC: Power suddenly went off at my house for some reason. 0.o
Sora held back his laughter the best he could, only allowing a few chuckles to leave his lips as he looked up at Roxas. That expression was priceless. Namine took half a step back, seeing Roxas flicking the pieces of cake. She couldn't help but giggle at the blonde boy. He definitly hadn't expected to get hit in the face, and his expression still showed great surprise.
Sora's eyes wandered up when he noticed that the two blondes hadn't moved, and he expected to see the worse. His eyes widened when he saw that Roxas hadn't reacted quickly enough, and now he had cake in his face to prove that. Namine's eyes were wide as she raised a hand to her mouth, keeping her gaze on Roxas. I can't believe that just happened! she thought to herself. Past her feeling of shock, she also felt laughter coming up inside her, and she released a few stiffled giggles as she looked at Roxas.
Namine watched in surprise, tyring to wrap her mind around what was happening. She had never been in a food fight before, and she supposed that was about to change. Sora's ocean-blue orbs widened behind his mask, the teen turning slightly and seeing a lot of people grabbing food. He suddenly as somebody through a piece of cake in their direction, and he reacted with lightning fast reflexes. "Duck!" he cried, putting a hand on Kairi's shoulder as he lowered both of them to avoid the flying food.
Sora turned his head in that direction, unable to hold back his curiousity. He saw the three at the end of the table--one wiping pie of his face, one with a smirk on her face, and the other watching dumbly. Suddenly, the first man picked up a pie of his own and shoved it into the woman's face, a smile appearing on his lips. Namine's eyes widened at the site, not expecting this at all. She gazed at the man and woman, who were both wiping pie off their faces now. But then, another cry entered her ears, catching her attention. "FOOD FIGHT!! " The third man was the one who spoke those simple words, and both cheers and cries of protest followed that yell. A bunch of people started to approach the table, apparently wanting to join in the fun.
Breathe Into Me- RED
Sora held Roxas' gaze for a moment, seeing his friend smiling back at him. He could see something behind Roxas' stare, but he couldn't identify what that emotion was. Well, at least Sora could tell that it wasn't a bad emotion. He suddenly heard a commotion a few feet away, at the far end of the food table. He perked up slightly, trying to identify what was going on without being nosy. Namine heard the clanging of plates and she let her eyes wander, looking past her two friends and seeing a group of three or four at the far end of the table. She couldn't tell if they were happy or upset, but what happened next was very surprising. A young woman in the pink dress picked up a pie and pushed it into another man's face, and Namine could see now that she had a smile on her face. Namine's jaw dropped slightly in surprise, hearing "ooo's" enter her ears as more people turned to watch the scene.
This Man- Jeremy Camp
Namine nodded faintly in agreement, her kind smile staying on her lips. She was glad that her other friends were having a good time, especially Kairi. Kairi was her closest friend, and she knew that she deserved a great guy in her life. And for Kairi, she already had that guy; it was Sora. They really were perfect for each other, and she was glad that they loved each other so deeply. Sora nodded, his smile spreading into a happy grin. Tonight was a great night, and he was glad that he and Roxas had brought the girls to this. Though they would probably never do it again, they had enough nice memories here to last them for a long time.
Namine shifted her gaze to Roxas, seeing his loving smile. She nodded in response to Kairi's question, her eyes flitting over to her best friend. "Yeah, we are," Namine answered honestly, having to raise her voice to be heard. "How about you guys?" Sora smiled at the question and nodded his head. He and Kairi were having a great night. They had spent a lot of it on the balcony, and they had actually just come in within the last five minutes because of the dropping temperature. Still, whether they were with the group or not, he was sure that Kairi was having a good time. And as long as she was happy, so was he.
Sora turned his head when he heard a familiar voice, his eyes falling on the two blondes on the other side of Kairi. Wait, when had they gotten there...? Oh well, that didn't really matter now, did it? He gave his friends a friendly smile, glad to see them under better circumstances. Namine caught onto Sora's smile and she returned it with one of her own, glad to see that he had apparently put their earlier encounter out of mind. She was glad for that; it had been very awkward, walking in on her friends like that.
I'm Not Alright- Sanctus Real
Namine held onto Roxas' hand as he led her across the room. She figured he would take her wherever the most comfortable spot was, and she trusted his judgement. And now they stood by the refreshments, which was more calm than the rest of the area. Sora held onto Kairi's hand in his as he scanned the room, the boy standing still by the refreshments with Kairi right by his side. The dance had died down slightly. Earlier, he had even noticed the police escorting out a group of hooligans. They were so loud and obnoxious, and though he wasn't directly affected by them, he was glad they were forced to leave.
