Sora turned once he was right in the doorway, seeing now that Smith wasn't going to attack him again. He exited the room last, following the girls out. Namine walked over to the side slightly, out of the way of the doorway. She took a few steps over and turned around, leaning herself lightly against the wall as she looked from Kairi to Sora. Smith met Roxas' glare, and he tightened the grip on his dark blade. He was ready now; he wasn't going down easily today, that was for sure.
Sora's shoulder was throbbing, but he would worry about that in a few moments. First, he had to get the girls out of the room. Their safety came before his own needs, as always. He turned his gaze toward Smith and cautiously started toward the door, prepared in case the man made another move to attack him or the girls. Namine saw Sora heading toward the door, and she felt relieved that he didn't appear to be hurt too badly. Though he didn't look too good now, perhaps because of what had happened to him earlier. Namine looked over at Roxas one last time before turning her eyes to the door again, being the first to exit the room. Smith saw the three teens moving again, but he had already had his fun, so he didn't attack them again. No, now it was time for his long awaited fight with Roxas.
Namine froze when she heard Sora get hit, her eyes widening as she turned to face him. She stood right by the doorway, and the sudden turn of events had left her stunned. Sora opened his eyes at the cry, first looking at Smith and then turning to Kairi. He nodded faintly, letting her know that he was alright. The bullet had impacted him, yes, but he judging by the amount of pain he felt now, it would heal in a few days or a week. At least, he hoped his judgement was correct. He motioned again for the door. Smith had surprised him with that one attack, and he didn't want anymore surprises. "Hmph," Smith looked at Sora, surprised that the brunette had suddenly stepped in. That wretched Keyblade bearer...he sure did have the worst timing. He gripped his weapon more tightly, though he made no move to fire another shot.
Namine continued toward the door, shifting her gaze from Sora to Smith cautiously. If that man made any move... Smith noticed both girls leaving, and an idea immediatly struck him. It was just one quick, easy oppurtunity to ruin some lives, and he was going to follow through on that idea. He shifted his blade suddenly, and in the new lighting, he was sure the four teens could recognize it as a gunblade. He pulled back on a hidden trigger and sent a bullet toward the Princess. Sora's eyes widened at Smith's sudden movement, and Sora registered what was going on within a millisecond. Without thought, he ran forward and toward Kairi. He couldn't summon his blade in time to deflect the speeding bullet, or cast a spell to have a similar affect. Once he was right by her, he reached forward and grabbed her arm. He pulled her out of the way, putting himself in the line of fire in the process. When the projectile collided with his shoulder, he hissed softly and his eyes closed as he furrowed in eyebrows in pain.
Sora met Kairi's eyes from a distance, and he was thankful that she had looked over. But that wasn't the only gaze he felt on him... he turned his gaze to Namine, seeing her looking at him as well. Since his Keyblade was gone, he softly brought up one hand, motioning for both girls to come out into the hall. Namine saw Sora's movement, and she understood what he was asking. She looked up at Roxas one last time, biting her lip lightly. In a way, she did want to leave this area, since she knew Roxas had to fight. She cautiously came out from behind him, starting toward the doorway.
Sora had appeared during the end of the conversation, hearing Roxas' shout. Now, the brunette stood in the doorway. Nobody seemed to have noticed him, though, not even Smith. He shifted his gaze to Namine and Roxas before looking over at Kairi, who was standing out in the open. He was concerned for her safety, but he felt as if he would put her in more danger if he went in. Smith tightly gripped his weapon, holding it up in front of him. His dark blade reeked of evil, which could only match the person who held the weapon. The man glared at Roxas, his orange-yellow eyes staying on the blond boy. Namine bit her lip lightly as she gazed at the ground. After a moment, however, she noticed something new out of the corner of her eye. She looked up, seeing Sora standing in the doorway.
Alright, I will. =3
Okay, cool. And then you can decide whether Roxas will be knocked out or not for the second plan.
Okay, well, what if we changed the first plan around? Namine and Kairi are both leaving, and then Smith shoots at Kairi. Sora is closer, so he...
;3 So, what are we doing for the first part? Is Namine going to leave and then Smith shoots? (I could reveal that his weapon was a form of...
Stand My Ground- Within Temptation
Wow, that's VERY dramatic. But I love it. x3 I think we should do it.
You know, I actually had an idea similar to that. But how about this: Namine is heading out of the room (Sora is motioning for her and Kairi to...
Wow, that's surprising. xD Of course I'd like to hear them. =)
Skillet is my favorite, but RED is a close second. =) Both of them are similar in musical styles. I love how they both blend instrumental and rock and still have great messages. They both are totally awesome. =D
I love this story! It's so addictive. I'll admit, it took me a little while to get into it at first, since I haven't read over it in such a long while. But the characters, the seperate plot lines...everything fits together flawlessly. I did notice at least two spelling mistakes, one with Riku and one somewhere else (I forget). But other than that....WOW! I look forward to more in the future. =)
Cool. xD Okay, bye!
Namine flinched at Roxas' scream, the girl hearing fierceness behind them. But still, she understood that he needed to get out his anger. This time, at least she wasn't frightened by it. She knew that rage would never be focused against her. Smith furrowed his eyebrows at Roxas' scream, the man holding Roxas' glare. "If it's a fight you want," he started, "...it's a fight you'll get." He held out one hand, summoning his dark blade into his right hand. OOC: Okay, bye.
It's The Fear- Within Temptation
All of Thursday, or just part of it?
