Smith turned just in time to see another blade coming at him, but he had no time to react. Another cry left his lips, the Keyblade impacting his chest with great power. His eyes found Roxas, and his eyes narrowed in surprise. How was he back on his feet so quickly?!

Sora's breathing started to become a little more soft, though still heavier than usual as he stayed still. Everything felt fuzzy to him, but he knew that now he had to regain his focus. Come on...don't think about pain or dizziness. I gotta get up and fight...for Roxas...for Namine...for Kairi... Sora focused himself on that last name, some of his strength starting to return to him.

Smith suddenly became aware of a great pang of hurt when a Keyblade hit him, colliding with his side and part of his back. He cried out in surprise, his grip on Sora disapearing completely as he dropped the teen to the hard, cold floor. He took a few steps back, trying to recover from the hard blow that had come out of nowhere.

Sora grunted when he felt himself being dropped, his body colliding with the ground with a loud thud. His eyes stayed tightly closed as he gasped for air, oxygen finally entering him again now that Smith's chokehold was over for some reason. He stayed on his stomach, unmoving except for the faint rising and falling of his chest as he took in more air.

Namine looked down at the ground when Roxas turned away, his words entering her ears and hitting her heart. "I believe you," she said softly, honestly. Though this was very dangerous, Namine knew that he wouldn't give up. Not when he had already made it so far.

Sora grunted again, though it was more faint than his others. The lack of oxygen was getting to him, suffocating him. It felt as if his mind were going fuzzy, his strength leaving him. His hands loosened slightly on Smith's wrists, his power almost completely gone. It seemed as if it were over now, though he didn't want to admit it. Everything was starting to fade away from him; his grip on reality, his strength, everything was started to disapear as his mind went cloudy.

Smith kept a tight hold on Sora, glaring up at the teen. He noticed that he was weakening, and this only encouraged him to keep his tight grip. Yes, he was finally going to defeat the legendary Keyblade weilder. And nobody was going to get in his way.

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas, concern shining in their soft blue depths. Truth be told, she was very concerned about him. He appeared to be pretty beat up, and weakend. But Namine knew it didn't make a difference now; Roxas was going to fight Smith no matter what. It was what he needed to do for himself, and though Namine wasn't comfortable with it, she understood why he would feel that way.

Sora struggled, kicking slightly at Smith. Kicking through the air, he realized that he was indeed being lifted up. But this hardly mattered; what did matter was the fact that he wasn't getting the air he needed. He tried harder to get Smith to release him, but it was a losing battle. Smith was too strong, and Sora was too weak. He couldn't get free on his own...

Namine nodded faintly, her eyes still on his. "I know you do," she stated softly. Though she didn't want to let him go out of fear that he would get hurt, she still knew that she had to let him go...despite her concern. She gently brought her hand off of Roxas' back, though her eyes stayed locked with his.

Sora grunted, shutting his eyes tightly as he felt more pressure on him. If he wasn't mistaken, it also felt as if Smith were lifting him off the ground. But Sora wasn't focusing on that; he only recognized the need to get out of Smith's grasp before it was too late. He brought up his hands, grabbing Smith's wrists as he tried to pull himself away.

Namine held Roxas' gaze, looking into his ocean blue eyes. She could see determination in their depths, though, more faintly, she could also see a bit of pain. She bit her lip lightly, keeping her hand on his back. However, she knew that she had to let him go. This was a fight that he needed to fight, not just so Smith was gone, but for himself. It was hard to let him go now, knowing that he could possibly get hurt worse than he already was. But Namine knew that she didn't really have a choice in the matter, either.

Sora set one hand on the ground, his palm against the floor as he tried to support himself. However, he didn't get up too far, because he felt strong hands pull at him. Smith. His eyes opened widely at the grasp and he was suddely upright, though being forced that way by Smith. He glared into the man's eyes for a moment before one of the hands left his shoulders, grabbing at his neck. Sora grunted, trying as hard as he could to escape Smith's clutches.

Namine's eyes widened at Roxas' collapse and she reached over with one hand, lightly setting it on his back as she gazed at him in concern. He clearly was hurt more than he had told her before, and surely he didn't expect to rush in and fight in such bad shape...right?

Sora saw the feet stop right in front of him, and his eyes flitted up more, seeing Smith glaring at him. Sora furrowed his eyebrows in anger when he saw the sword coming down at him. He shut his eyes tightly, silently casting reflect. The sword bounced off the sheild, forcing Smith to take a step back to regain his balance from being offset by the force of his own blade.

Namine's eyes moved away from the doorway when she noticed Roxas' starting to rise to his feet. A sense of worry entered her heart; Roxas didn't seem as if he were in any condition to fight, but she also knew that he wouldn't back down from this fight too easily. Namine looked up at him, concern apparant in her eyes.

Sora lifted his head slightly, only being able to life it a little bit because of a weak feeling her suddenly felt. He had put all his strength into the fight thus far, and now that he had taken another hard blow, he felt as if he didn't have the strength to rise to his feet. Footsteps quickly approached him, but he was powerless to move.

Namine looked over at Roxas, hearing something new in his voice: anger. Not toward her or anyone close to him, but at Smith. But, he had just been out cold for a few minutes, and he was clearly injured Namine didn't want him going into a fight like that...

"You Keyblade brat!" Smith shouted at Sora, the teen a few feet in front of him. He suddenly pulled back his gunblade, a ball of energy forming on the end. Sora had greatly angered him...stepping in when he could have finally eliminated Roxas. Now Sora was going to pay for it with his life.

Sora's eyes widened at the dark mass of energy forming and he stood himself defensively, preparing himself for the impact. As expected, one shot came toward him, and he knocked it away. But that was merely a distraction. After hitting it away, he saw another one coming at him, even faster than the other. And with his Keyblade down at his side, he knew he couldn't deflect this one. He cried out in pain, the large dark ball impacting him in the chest and sending him back a few feet. He landed on his stomach, Keyblade clattering against the concrete ground as it lay underneath his hand.
