Namine kept her head down, though she did nod faintly in response to Roxas. Unfortunatly, she was serious. She never thought she would be in this position before, but now she was. How could Roxas possibly love her when she was so useless? She didn't think it was possible...

Namine kept her gaze lowered, Roxas' question entering her ears. There was so much to say... "He told me that it was impossible for anyone to love me," she said softly, her eyes closing at that fact. "That I was too much of a burden, and that not even you could love me anymore. I'm not worth the trouble I've put you through, Roxas." Namine bit her lip lightly, sadness filling her heart.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
"...He...opened my eyes to some things. He showed me some things that I never wanted to think about before. But he was right about everything he said to me." Namine opened her eyes a crack, lowering her head as she gazed at the floor. The tears were gone...for now. But she was sure they would return soon enough.

Roxas' question entered her ears as soon as she finished rising to her feet, and she shut her eyes a bit more tightly at the name. "He said some things..." Namine said softly, not finishing that sentence. Everything he said affected her, and she didn't know how to start it all. She wasn't the same girl she was a week ago, though she desperatly wished she was.
Namine exhaled heavily, the breath leaving her quietly. She set one hand down on the couch beside her as she turned her body, her legs toward the edge of the couch. She pushed them over the edge, her feet landing on the ground. Though she felt Roxas' gaze on her, she wasn't ready to look up into those piercing blue eyes yet. She needed just one more moment to think...how could she possibly tell Roxas all that happened?

Namine shut her eyes, hearing concern as well as seriousness in Roxas' voice. Tears appeared behind her closed eyelids, memories returning to her mind and impacting her heart. All the things Smith said to her--telling her that she was a burden, and that nobody could love her, she believed them because they were logical. But her heart told her differently, going against those thoughts. Namine just felt so lost...she had no idea where to start.

Namine's eyes widened slightly in surprise, Roxas' stern voice entering her ears. She couldn't stop doubting herself, not now. Not now that everything she once recognized as truth could be false. But she stayed silent, knowing that Roxas didn't want to hear any more.
