Alex watched what Serin had done to the guard. She placed her hand back against her shoulder, stepping away from the area before taking off running, following Serin. It was slightly difficult for her to run since she felt her body tremble from everything that just happened. The pain on her shoulder was almost the same as when she had gotten a headache earlier in the lab. She gritted her teeth, trying to withstand the pain and continue following Serin. She looked at him, knowing what he had just done was take a life. It didn't bother her as much as she thought it would.

Alex took another step back, looking back and forth from the guard and to what he had in his hand. Whatever it was, it was something she obviously should avoid if he was threatening her with it. The moment she had taken one more step back, the guard pulled the trigger of his weapon. Before Alex could react and dodge whatever that was coming towards her, she felt an intense pain on her shoulder. She stumbled backward, placing her hand over it, feeling something come from that area. She removed her hand and winced as she felt her body begin to slightly tremble. Her eyes grew wide, seeing a dark red liquid on her hand and on her shoulder as well. "W-What is this...?"
