Alex slowed down her pace when she heard Serin say to stop. When she came to a stop, she turned around, holding onto her shoulder. She stared at the direction they had come from, seeing nobody behind them. Alex lowered her head, wincing once more from the pain around her shoulder. She walked over to a wall, practically throwing her back against it and slid down to the ground. She deeply sighed out, lowering her head to look down at the pavement. "Damn it..."
