I highly recommend you follow this tutorial. It is fairly simple and will show alot of tricks you can use while designing your signature. The tutorial will go over simple brushing techniques, lighting and etc... I also followed this tutorial and it worked wonders. The tutorials itself is also in a video format so its much easier to follow. Please just try it and post your results!

The biggest problem i see is the stock. Either try to find a better stock or make it bigger so you can see more of her body. Also try placing your text closer to the focal point. Sharpen your stock and blur your background and it will be pretty decent :3
