Sora nodded faintly, agreeing with Kairi's analysis. "Right," he said softly. Without thought, he gently brought up his left hand. He lightly set it on the thermometer, starting to gently slide it out of Kairi's grasp. She didn't need to take care of him at that moment; he could take care of this.
Our Solemn Hour- Within Temptation
That is weird... 0.o
Sora's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly when he felt a soft gaze on him, and when he opened his eyes, he realized that the gaze was Kairi's. He forced himself to straighten up again, feeling slightly embarassed that she was seeing him when he was in such bad shape. He hadn't even thought about her seeing him like this; he was a bit distracted, after all. The illness was keeping other thoughts away, but thinking about being sick wasn't too fun either.
Nice. xD I wasn't planning on seeing it, but maybe I should go see it with my boyfriend. =3
Sora brought up a hand again, wiping at a bead of sweat that had just started to run down his temple. Once it was completely gone, he lowered the hand again, his eyes staying closed as he sat in the silence.
=3 That's alright. I actually thought your dad had kept you off or something, so I wasn't expecting you to come on tonight. But since you are...
Sora scoot over slightly on the bed, leaning his head against the wall. He slowly lowered his hand to his lap as he shut his eyes, silently exhaling as he wished the sickness would fade away. But he knew that wasn't going to happen randomly...this was probably going to stick around for a little while.
Actually, I'm here. =) And I've decided I can stay on for a little while tonight.
Hey, we missed each other today. I'm getting off for the night, since I feel pretty exhausted from a busy week. Also, I'm going to be busy part of...
Sora shook his head slightly, wondering how seriously sick he was. That gas had been meant to kill him, and it obviously hadn't done that. But was it still going to haunt him like it was now? He felt so sick now...were things going to get worse? He certainly hoped not.
Sora exhaled silently, bringing a hand to his head again. He hadn't noticed the sweat before, but now that he did, he was sure he had a fever. He started to wipe at it, trying to get rid of the cool sweat that coated his face.
Sora nodded faintly, Kairi's eyes looking back into his again. "Yeah," Sora responded quietly, blinking once when his head suddenly rang out in pain again. "It's in the same cabinate as the medicine." If he had a fever, he definitly needed to take something. And if he didn't, he would take medicine anyway, since he felt so terrible. OOC: Gotta go for the night, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get on around the same time as you tommorrow in the afternoon, but I'll probably come on later that night anyway...around 10:30 is my time? Just a guess, really. Oh well, bye!
Lessons Learned- Carrie Underwood
Sora's eyes found Kairi's hand on his cheek, and he looked at the for a moment. Then he looked back up at Kairi, taking in her soft spoken words. "I think you're right," Sora told her softly, concern apparant in her violet-blue eyes. Gosh, he really wished he wasn't worrying her with all this...but there was really nothing he could do about it now.
I love that song. ^^ Jesus Take The Wheel- Carrie Underwood
Sora exhaled softly when Kairi's hand came to his forehead, and he lowered his eyes, looking down. Her head felt cool against his head, and he guessed that he was probably burning up. Well, there's no taking it back now, Sora thought to himself. Kairi obviously saw that he was sick, and he couldn't take away her concern when she did have good reason to worry. The teen stayed silent, making no move to remove Kairi's hand from his forehead.
Sora nodded faintly, lowering his gaze for a brief moment before he looked up at Kairi. "Depends on what you mean by sick..." he started softly, trailing off without completing the thought. If she meant sick with a cold, then no. But he was sick...just for another reason.
I'll Stand By You- Carrie Underwood
Sora slowly brought down his hand, noticing that Kairi apparently didn't believe him. He exhaled softly, the breath leaving as a quiet sigh. "I'm not quite feeling my best today," he admitted carefully, choosing his words with great thought so he wouldn't worry Kairi.
