Well, I guess I should get used to it. My life just isn't what it used to be.
After a few moments, Sora's chuckle faded out, and he lifted his eyes back up to Kairi. That soft smile was still on his lips, though it had faded slightly. He did love Kairi, and nothing was going to change that. Not a small mistake on her part. Well, the mistake of sneaking out really wasn't small; in fact, it was pretty significant. But he would get over it for her sake, so life could somehow go back to normal.
Yeah, I'm referring to this week. Last week was crazy, and this one is going to be too.
Sora could see the shyness in Kairi's eyes, and that made Sora feel a bit timid as well. He chuckled awkwardly, his eyes flitting down to the ground so he could avoid Kairi's shy gaze.
Yes, well, I haven't really had any free time for a week, and it's starting to get to me. I feel so exhausted...and I'm in for another busy week.
Sora's faint smile grew slightly at Kairi's, and he held her eyes. He stopped stroking her hand and then gently squeezed her hand instead. "You're too precious to lose sight of," he whispered lovingly.
Yuppers. You probably guessed I have to get off in about 20 minutes.
The air aroudn them still felt very heavy, and Sora wanted to lighten the mood in any way possible. "Besides," he continued. "I'm never letting you get away again." A weak smile appeared on his lips as he looked up, meeting Kairi's eyes.
Yeah, my time.
Sora nodded faintly in agreement to the second statement. Kairi was right; he couldn't handle that, and neither could she. That statement reassured him that Kairi wasn't being selfish again, and he was grateful for that. The promise also meant a lot to him, and he couldn't find any words to responde. Instead of saying something elaborate and complex, he simply said "Alright."
Tomorrow, I'm guessing I'll be on around 6-6:30.
Sora looked down, his eyes resting on thier hands. He continued to gently stroke her hand, unable to think of anything to say. He really did hope that his gesture was comforting her; he didn't want her to be hurting in any way.
Alright, I will try to be on as well.
"I know," Sora said quietly, the teen running his thumb over Kairi's smooth skin. Kairi's actions had caused him a lot of pain, and he couldn't deny that. But for her sake, he would let it go. Or at least, he would try to let it go. "You're forgiven," he whispered.
And Wednesday is one of the days I'll be on! Funny how that works sometimes...
"Kairi..." Sora murmered her name quietly, his eyes moving down to Kairi's hands before going back up. He could sense the sorrow in her heart, and that emotion was something he wouldn't wish on anyone, especially not Kairi. No matter what the circumstances were, he would never wish anything bad to happy to her. She was too precious for him.
I'm so glad to hear that. xD Now, I have 2 more games this week...one of them tomorrow and the other on Thursday.
Sora saw Kairi avoiding his gaze, and his eyes softened. He squeezed her hand without thought, his eyes staying on her face. "I know you're sorry," he said quietly, his eyes flickering down to their hands before going back up to her face.
Yeah, that was so lame. D8 Winning is definitly a good thing, though. xD Alright, glad to hear it. So you haven't been on all night?
Sora did understand that part, and he wanted Kairi to know that. But he didn't really have anything important or meaninful to add, so instead he just murmered a "mmhmm," to let her know that he was listening.
