    Name: Teliana Jereign
    Title: N/A
Faction (Order of The Hammer, The Shards of Hope or neither): Order of the Hammer
    Age: 23
    Gender: Female
    Description: ~
Personality: Teliana tends to favor diplomacy to open battle, but she isn't afraid to fight for her beliefs. She's loyal to her friends and the Order, and believes more in chance then in fate, preferring to think that she can make her own way.
Weapons: The ones she creates with her blood. (hehe)
Armour: Simple leather armor and clothing underneath.
    Abilities (passive and active):

    Active
    • Hemokinesis: Teliana, after creating an incision in her skin, can use the resulting blood to form a weapon, i.e sword, spear, shield. The ability is limited by the amount of blood Teliana has in her own body.
    • Dragon Eyes (Active): Teliana has the power to paralyze people by looking directly into their eyes; the victims are then subject to fatal hallucinations. In extreme cases she can cause their entire bodies to stop functioning, including their hearts. When she finishes using this ability, she herself becomes paralyzed as a result, making the power a double-edged sword. This has a sister passive ability.
    Passive
    • Conversion: Teliana's body creates blood faster then most, allowing her to heal at a slightly higher rate and regenerate lost blood. However, this also causes her to require more food and nutrients in order to function properly. She tries to eat six times a day instead of just three.
    • Dragon Eyes (Passive): The sister ability to the active mode, Teliana can see people and objects from miles away.
Strengths: Her loyalty and willingness to befriend anyone.
Weaknesses: Her nearly constant need to eat and a commonly brought upon state of anemia. She also extremely dislikes anything flying at her face.

History: Teliana dreamed of seeing the world and finding new places, making new friends. The only daughter in a middle class family, she inherited the gift of Cursed Blood through her mother, and became the cherished heir to the family legacy. Rather then spend her days trying to decide which suitor to marry and reproduce with, she joined the Order of the Hammer the first chance she got, using her abilities to (in her eyes) make the universe a better place and protect people from the evils of the Shards. Her parents, in an effort to get her back, hired mercenaries to kidnap their daughter. Ana managed to fight them off with the help of others, but was permanently blinded as a result.

She was the recipient of a pair of donor eyes, and though it wasn't known where they came from, she agreed to go through with the surgery in order to replace her ruined eyesight. It wasn't long after she discovered the new gift she had received with her restore vision, and she has spent the last few years working on getting her Dragon Eyes under control.

    Name: Teliana Jereign
    Age/Appearance: 23

Background/Personality: Teliana grew up the only daughter of a midlevel business man. She inheritated a rare blood disorder through her mother's side of the family, and many of her childhood memories were formed in a stark hospital room. Because of the lack of information on her disease, she was the recipient of many experimental procedures and surgeries. Shunned by her family and friends, Teliana ran away to join Access, and gain enough power that she could protect others who had been ostracized for their differences, much like her.
    Crossover Medals:

    • Crossover Medal 1, Hemokinesis ( Mirai Kuriyama from Beyond the Boundary): Teliana is gifted with the ability to manipulate her blood in various ways such as shaping and solidifying it to form constructs e.g. a sword or shield. This ability is limited by her body's natural blood volume. Her blood also has corrosive properties when injected into or sprayed against an opponent.
    • Crossover Medal 2, Dragon Eyes (Shin-Ah from Akatsuki No Yona): Teliana has the ability to see long distances very clearly, being able to see people and objects miles away. When using the eyes' ability, she has the power to paralyze people by looking directly into their eyes; the victims are then subject to fatal hallucinations. In extreme cases she can cause their entire bodies to stop functioning, including their hearts. When she finishes using this ability, she herself becomes paralyzed as a result, making the power a double-edged sword.

Treasa sighed. "I suppose we have to go back there, don't we?" She scuffed the dirt with her boot before sighing again. "Fine, uncle. I'll talk to the legendary Veera and see if she can help me overcome my insidious hate of all things with phallic parts." Her attempt at humor only partly failed, and she leaned down to grab up the broken shafts of her arrows, as well as some new branches.

"I did say I was coming out here for wood, after all." She muttered rebelliously, following
Alastar back to the camp with her arms full. Instead of going to Veera, she chose a spot a little ways away from the group, well within sight and sound, but enough that she didn't feel threatened. Not that she should feel threatened, but it seemed her uncle was determined to stay with this group for a short while, and she? She would just have to do her part to try and keep the peace. If that meant remaining over here, she could handle it. She didn't look at Derrick, or Veera, or Veceslav as she sat down, letting the wood fall beside her and pulling a knife out of her belt, before she began the time consuming process of turning the wood into shafts for her arrows.

In time, the worries of the world around her would melt away, and she wouldn't have to think about any of it. Her past, the present, or the ever looming future. None of it mattered in the face of carving enough arrows to drive through her enemies.

Veera sat up, rubbing her eyes as she watched Alastar go after Treasa. "Oh, the woes of being a teenage girl." She muttered, pulling off her armor piece by piece to inspect it. Veceslav was still out cold, and she cast a worried glance at the older man before shifting back to the task at hand. She could deal with a bit more sleep, but it seemed more prudent to keep her eyes open and watchful to make sure the girl didn't stab Derrick in his own sleep.

"What'd you do to her? Sleep with her mum?" Veera asked
Derrick quietly, without humor or sarcasm. "Or did you finally refuse a girl and she didn't take it well?" She could see either way happening, but without having been awake for what was probably most of the argument, she was leaning towards Derrick being the wronged one. If it was truly the former, then they would have to handle it. If it was the latter, she could honestly saw she was proud of the younger witcher, but given the day they had, she wouldn't have been surprised.

The damage to her armor had been massive, beyond what she could fix herself, and she sighed, before placing it to the side and examining her weapons. They were dented and scratched, but it seemed...more so then they should have been. Veera examined them intently, her lips pressing into a thin line. Had she done something with her silver sword to ruin it so? The headache began to return slowly, and she looked away. Another lost memory, then.

Ana smiled a little, letting go of the vampire to stand back. She squeezed his hand once before letting go, hoping that it conveyed to him that she understood. She might not be the same brave woman she had been before, but she was still herself. Hopefully, with enough time, she would recover who she had been. She didn't want to be scared of every shadow forever. But Milosh's voice whispered in her ear and she shivered, her arms wrapping around herself as she watched Zephyr. The witch hunter's doings would haunt her for some time yet. She flushed a little, realizing she had completely forgotten Zephyr was there when Vyle had kissed her. She had completely forgotten everything when Vyle had kissed her, and she couldn't complain.

Maybe, when they found some time alone, she would pull
him aside and tell him...No. No one but she needed to know what she had gone through. If Vyle was there to calm her down, then that was all that mattered. And he had promised he wouldn't leave her. She smiled to herself before turning the same expression to Zephyr. "You'll be safer with us then you would be on your own." She murmured. "But if you want to stay here with the dopplers, I won't blame you."

Tessa murmured at the sound of knocking and pressed her face back into Seth's chest, her voice mumbling incoherently. She was warm, comfortable, safe. Why would she want to leave this for the outside world? It was good here. Bad there. Yeah, good here. She smiled, wrapping her arms tightly around Seth as she dozed, a small part of her wanting to get up to see what Sigmund wanted, but the larger part staying right there where Seth was. If it was important, Sigmund would open the door.

Kara pressed her palm against the door, her eyes never once leaving the spider, afraid to even blink. "Ren, tell me a story." She murmured, her legs quivering as she watched the mandibles of the spiders click, the legs shift to hold the weight of the swaying body. "Tell me something happy." She didn't want her last moments to be filled with pain and horror.

Well, undoubtedly there would be that. But if she could go out knowing something good had happened in the world to
someone special, then it could hardly be asking too much, could it? And please, She prayed as her eyes watered. Please don't listen if this goes badly. She didn't need the last memory of her being her screams. That was just too morbid for Kara Webb. Ha, maybe with my last name I have a secret ability to communicate with arachnids. If that's the case, now would be the time, Special Power.

Tessa smiled in relief as Conrad agreed with her. "Kara is the sort to run into danger." She replied in turn, letting go of the braided strands of hair. "I just hope whoever it is doesn't think they're in any actual danger..." She sighed, turning to Rayyad. "Is there any way you could try to communicate? That way we would know if it was Kara or not. And we could tell her to just sit there until we come back." She supposed that would be too easy, and however Rayyad could see her, well...Tessa didn't want to push her luck, with the memory of the Webbar King so fresh in her mind.

"Just do what you can, and let's hurry up and get this over with." She urged.

Brianne ignored Hendrick, the same way he had ignored her orders, and turned to go when-

She drew the stele, eyes focused on the
newcomer. Was he here to hurt, or help? And just how long had he been there? "Brianne, of the Shadowhunters. This is Hendrick." She replied, nerves taut. Could this day get any worse? "And who are you?" He didn't look like a werewolf, but it wasn't safe to judge a book by its cover, and if she were any more careless, she was sure Hendrick would comment on it too, and probably in front of the stranger, with all the tact he had. But then, why should she change her behavior because of his criticisms? It had gotten her this far in one piece.

She straightened, keeping her stele at her side. "
Hendrick, please go and get Roxanne. I'll meet you both back at the Institute." She didn't look at him, keeping her focus on the newcomer. "If he meant to harm us, he would have done so before when it was most opportune."

Treasa ignored her uncle's presence and kept firing, arrow after arrow hitting the tree. Her eyes blurred with tears, but she ignored them, letting them fall down her cheeks as she raised the bow, the feathers brushing past her cheek as she let the last one go. It flew wide and disappeared into the forest, leaving only a damage girl behind. She wiped her cheeks on her sleeve, using all the curses she knew to blast all men of every color and race. Her anger was misplaced onto them, because she was unable to admit that it was herself she hated. Being too weak, being too afraid, she could have stopped it, could have changed it.

Treasa stormed up to the tree, yanking out her missiles, and breaking more then one in her anger. "I'm not apologizing." She stated, her voice ringing back towards
    Alastar.

"And I'm not taking back what I said." She whipped around, the wind tugging her hair away from her tear stained face. "It's true, and you know it.
He would know it, if he wasn't so arrogant. It's because of men like him that they....that I...." She gritted her teeth and rubbed her eyes. "I'm so tired, uncle." Her tone indicated the exhaustion wasn't physical. "I'm so tired of having to watch over my shoulder, of being stared at like I'm a piece of meat, of having to wonder whether the man I'm talking to is actually talking to me, or if he's too busy wondering what's underneath the armor."

Why can't this be easier? "I....I'm lost,
uncle." She sighed. "I should have died in that house."

Kara spun, her eyes widening as she slowly backed up, pressing her body against the cold stone of the door. "Ren?" She said quietly, her voice barely more then a whisper as she and the spider faced each other. "Ren I need you to be very quiet." She tried to make herself look bigger, but not threatening. Not to be taken advantage. "The biggest spider I have ever seen is staring at me." She said in a hushed voice, fear worming its way up her spine and curling in her stomach. She could use her teleportation ability to keep out of its grasp, for a small amount of time anyway. But by herself? She would die.

This is why you don't grab everything you see. She scolded herself, trying to maintain a light attitude despite the danger.

    "Purple lilies, remember?" She asked
Ren, her voice cracking a little.

Tessa paused, half turning to look at Rayyad. There were a lot of girls that could fit that description, but all the same...."Can you hold her there until we can investigate for ourselves?" she asked, pulling a piece of hair from behind her shoulder and beginning to braid it. "I mean, if it's Kara or something, I wouldn't want to hurt her, but if it's not a friend, then we shouldn't just let her stroll in." She glanced at Conrad, hoping he would agree with her. "I mean...if it is Kara..." She bit her lip.

Kara gasped loudly as she beheld the city before her. Underground? How could this even exist? She touched the cavern wall, awestruck at the sight. It's so beautiful....The light of the crystals gave everything a fey kind of glow, and for a moment, Kara wondered if she had fallen into some sort of fairy tale. "Can't forget the prince." She muttered to herself, backtracking to examine the gem on the table

. It looked fine, and she picked it up before putting it in the socket on the wall. Hopefully that would release the door and allow the most confusing aspect of her life thus far to come through. Just in case that "Beware of Spider" sign wasn't a joke.

    • Rise of the Tomb Raider
    • Journey: The Collection
    • Mirror's Edge Catalyst (fangirl screaming ensues)
    • Game of Thrones by Tell Tale Games
    • Dragon Age Inquistion Story DLC (this goes here because buying all of it costs as much as a freaking game)

And as stated above, but not stated below, Final Fantasy Seven Remade and Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV would go on the list but since Square Enix is the most fickle of women.......

"Watch your tone." Brianne hissed, her eyes narrowing in anger at Hendrick. "I made the call to take an ally, who should be referred to with respect, up on an offer that would have saved another life. Someone who happens to now owe us a great personal debt. Not to mention Rhett was one of the nicer werewolves, and having Ash owe us a favor could be powerful indeed.

"It doesn't matter if you wouldn't have done what I did. It doesn't even matter that it was wrong. I saved Rhett's life, got us a favor, and we managed to get most of the wolves. Paragon went after Grayson." She stepped closer to Hendrick, tossing the blade in the air and catching it before shoving it at him, handle first.

"I don't need a babysitter. I need someone to watch my back." She said, her tone icy. "And since that clearly isn't her," she jerked her head at
Roxanne's retreating back, "I had hoped it would have been you. Feel free to resign from that particular post when we get back to the Institute. Why don't you go deal with her? I'm going to clean up this mess." She turned on her heel, pulling her stele out and walking up to the first body.

They had broken the Accords, broken Nephilim law. That one moment had stripped them of their rights, but she still murmured a prayer to the Angel for them before casting the rune to create the hottest fire she could. As the body slowly burned, she went to the next, completely ignoring the other Nephilim behind her. If she wanted to an angsty teenager, she could have just brought
Nick along. She had hoped to be working with reasonable adults. Clearly that was too much to ask for. Instead she got a man nearly twice her age who questioned her actions and a psychotic girl who went from sadistic to pathetic in the blink of a second. By the Angel, what did I do to deserve this?

Veera stretched, then rolled over on her side. She needed to get more sleep, but her mind was too busy with its thoughts. Everything had been so quiet, she was sure that something would have happened by now, if not to keep the karmic balance of the universe in check. But it remained peaceful, and though she knew she should be grateful, she found herself only growing more suspicious. Shutting her eyes, Veera tried once more to fall back to sleep.

Tessa smiled at Zack's joke, and then returned her attention to the small child in her arms. Zarron slept peacefully, his tiny face the picture of innocence. Tessa kissed his forehead gently, enjoying the sweet smell of his hair before raising her head again. "What's Adelina making?" She asked, as a small flock of birds came through the window. They dropped a small rain of flowers around her, causing her eyes to sparkle and her face to light up in a smile.

She gently gathered the plants with a murmur of thanks to the birds before letting
Zarron rest in her crossed legs, weaving the flowers into a crown. "It smells good." She said, loud enough for the fairy to hear. Her eyes were shining with gratitude, and she forgot for a moment how lonely she was as she put the crown on her hair, letting it fall askew as she brushed her hair over her shoulder.

Zack smiled as Tessa's expression lightened considerably when the flowers rained down upon her. He waited until Adelina looked his way before mouthing, "Thank you." To her, love shining out of his eyes. He had wanted to marry her, long before this. But it wasn't right. They couldn't stay where they were, in the small house, as a married couple. No, he had to get her a home. And when the time was right, he would. It just...hadn't been right. He sighed, looking down at Zelina. "What do you think?" He whispered to her. She murmured and snuggled back into the crook of his arms, prompting a smile from himself.

Tessa was watching him when she looked up, looking like a fairy herself, with her crown of flowers and her hair tangled. "I have no idea, but it'll be great. Hopefully enough to get you through the watch." She made a face, then nodded, glancing towards
Gale before back down. "You should do it." She whispered to Zarron, and Zack's cheeks flushed. He knew she wasn't talking to the baby, or herself.

That smile. She couldn't help but return it, taking the platter from him and staring down at it before grabbing a piece of the cooked bread and biting into it. "I really don't deserve you, you know." She murmured, setting the platter down on the counter and leaning against it as she ate. She didn't want to despair. He was trying, and trying really hard to get past what she was. He was still here after two years, right? Her eyes, a brighter blue, stared at the floor for a moment as her depression and her will battled it out with each other.

"I've been thinking...and not about the bed, but it is about the bed..." She paused, swallowing the rest of her toast before continuing. "I..." Pressing her hands to her cheeks, the hood of her cloak fell back, the sunlight hitting her face. She flinched, but continued on, before she lost her courage. "I don't know that there's any others like me, but.... but maybe the library has something." Her voice started out strong, but ended in a whisper. She felt so vulnerable, and although this was
Galadorn, it was still hard to talk about her weakness like it was the weather. Because it isn't. You kill people. You killed the k-"So..." She spoke, cutting off her thoughts. "I was thinking, maybe after duty, I would try to read up on something. Maybe see if I can feed another way. Because..." She looked down at her hands, imagining the blood that stained them.

Because I'm slowly beginning to think starving to death would be better then being a day without you. "Because..." She bit her lip, trying to force the words out. Pulling a tooth might have been easier.

"Because I need..." Why is this so HARD?!

She clenched her hands, determined. If
Galadorn was going to try, then she could too. "Because I need you!" She nearly choked on her tongue, but the words made it out of her mouth, and once they did, they didn't seem to stop. "I need you to hug me and hold me and I want to kiss you so badly I've almost done it, but I can't live without you. I'm so terrified that one misstep and you'll be gone and the last thing I'll have is your life inside my veins but even that will become me and I would kill myself if that happened and Idon'tknowwhythisissohard." She stopped, breathing hard as she pressed her hands to her cheeks, trying to calm herself. "I don't want to be who I am." She said helplessly. "I don't want to have to kill so I can live. My life isn't worth theirs."

Tessa felt Conrad's hand on her shoulder, and smiled through the darkness. Despite her annoyance with him, at least he was still there to back her up. Like an Alpha wolf, looking after his pack. I guess Kara has a way with nicknames after all. She tried to reach for Rayyad when he fell, the only thing keeping her from succumbing to the same fate was Conrad's hand. She sensed the fear in his voice, the fear in Rayyad's voice, and it confused her, but made her as though she should try to fix it. After all, they were part of the same herd.

"Hey, it's okay. They're already dead. They can't hurt us, and they're in a better place." She spoke quietly, trying to soothe the males with her voice. She placed her hand over
Conrad's, trying to convey calm as she reached forward, touching Rayyad's hand with her other. "It's okay." She spoke again, squeezing both their hands before stepping forward, past Rayyad.

"See, I'll go first. Just don't step on the bones, okay?" She looked at the bodies with a small frown, studying the way they had appeared to have died, before moving on. "If it snaps, you'll get a splinter in your foot, and that hurts."

Kara smiled at a few of Ren's jokes, but her mind went back again and again to the kiss. Had it just been a game to him? Did it mean nothing? Or did it mean everything? She couldn't wrap her mind around it. Men who kissed wanted something. They didn't do it to be nice, or to tease. They did it because of the endgame. And while Kara wasn't unfamiliar with that particular game, she had taken great pains to keep herself out of the bed of a man. So where did this path go?

The physical path they were on ended in a door. Kara peered through the entrance, a small frown on her face. "I'll try to slip through, see if I can open it from the other side. If you hear screaming, just make sure they put purple lilies on my grave." She hesitated, then grabbed
Ren's hand and gave it a quick squeeze. "See you in a bit." Tossing her still damp hair over her shoulder, she slid through, left side first, blinking as she scanned the room.

Brianne caught the blade that Hendrick tossed her way with a shout of thanks before turning and whispering, "Azazel." The blade glowed with new life as she shoved both hers and the stele into the werewolf's side, killing it quickly. She found as she turned, to her horror that Roxanne was not thinking the same way. Shoving her stele in its sheath and striding towards the other girl, she grabbed her shoulder, yanking her backward and away from the now dead Downworlder. "Stand down, Roxanne." She hissed, hands clenched.

How could she do that to another living creature? Was the Nephilim bond all that stopped the girl from pursuing the same course of action with herself or
    Hendrick?

"Another move like that and I'll take that damned thing away from you." She continued, pointing a finger towards the kitchen blade. "You kill them quickly, or you finish them quickly if they are wounded. We are Shadowhunters, not some twice damned Inquisition from the Angel cursed sixteen hundreds. We are the descendants of fucking Angels. Act like it. Do I make myself clear?"

Treasa halted in her stride, her hands gripping her bow tightly. "You and him." She jerked her head in Veceslav's direction. "You men. You're all the same." Her voice trembled with rage, but it wasn't enough to cloud her judgement. Not quite anyway. "You think we're just something to obtain, something to brag about. I wonder what happens when someone says no to you." She whipped around, her hair flying away from her face as her eyes became bright with anger. "Do you just take that as a challenge? Something else to brag about?" She was fairly screaming the last few words, memories dredging their way to the surface, memories she had neither time or desire to deal with.

Perhaps she hadn't been fair to
him. Perhaps she had judged him too much. It didn't matter, her own pride demanded that she refuse to apologize.

"Don't wait up for me." She spat, turning around and walking quickly away. She only broke into a run once she reached the other side of the hill, where no one could see her. She kept running until she reached the very edge of the forest, where she slowed, drew her bow, and shot. The arrow was true, and found its mark in the tree trunk. She walked forward and yanked it out, gripping the shaft so tightly her nails began to dig into her palm.

Fuck making arrows. She stalked back to where she had previously stood, drew the arrow, and shot without aiming. This time, she didn't stop, pulling back the bowstring time after time, releasing each arrow with a satisfying twang followed by the thud of the arrowhead burying itself in the tree. It was just enough to keep her from feeling the pain that the anger covered and enough to distract her from completely realizing she had let
Alastar out of her sight. That panic would keep, right now she needed to make this tree into a pin cushion.

Veera jerked awake when Treasa started screaming, then stared. It was clear the girl was upset, but to exactly what, she didn't have a clue. Veera raised herself onto her elbows and watched as the girl stormed off. She tensed, ready to jump up and defend Derrick if need be from the rage of Treasa's uncle, but otherwise she was quite content where she was.

Zack was helping put together a table. He brushed the sweat from his face and stared at the burning city. It would probably smolder for days. In the meantime, his constant goal was to get his people somewhere safe. They couldn't fortify this area very well, and without a good form of protection they were sitting ducks for whatever decided to pick them off first; the king's army or bandits or disease.

We need to get somewhere safe. But where? He doubted Archon would be very pleased at what had happened. Or perhaps he was. It hadn't gone unnoticed that the city guard had simply stood down when Z-Bryce's forces had overwhelmed the city.

"Oy!" The shout drew his attention from his task, and he got to his feet, brushing the dirt off his knees as a small boy came running towards him. Zack followed the lad back to the boundries of the camp, where, speak of the devil, half the city guard stood. Some of them had weapons drawn, others simply looked as though they were in shock.

"Please." The leader, probably the captain, was begging one of the guards. "Please let us come. We can help defen-"

"Like you did our city." The doppler snarled, his pike at the ready to stab the captain. "Like you did our people."

Zack laid a hand on the angry doppler's shoulder, staring at the captain with hard eyes.
"He's right. We needed you, and you abandoned us just as much as every other citizen."

There were women, and children, some of whom were crying, carrying stuffed animals. Some families wore the faces of grief and shock, clearly the victims of loss.
"Come with me. You and only you. I will allow our healers to treat your people, but they stay out here until we come to a consensus."

The captain nodded, relief smoothing his features as he spoke quietly to his men and stepped forward. Zack did the same, but headed towards the quieter side of the camp as the boy who had fetched him went to do the same to the healers.

"Now, you will explain to me what has happened, and why?" Zack turned to face the man, arms crossed across his chest.

She murmured in her sleep, her unconscious mind supplying her with both happy memories and terrors from the past in equilibrium. Her hand loosened its grip on Seth's, then tightened when her fingers slipped from his. In a flash, her eyes had opened, but they were met with a far more welcome sight then her tired mind had suspected. Instead of empty air, Seth's resting face greeted her. She smiled, wiggling in closer until her face was pressed into his chest, his chin resting on her head.

Slowly wrapping her arms around him, moving carefully so as not to wake him, she shut her eyes and drifted back, this time to a much happier place.

"Nick, move back." Alarick commanded. He didn't want to hurt the warlock, but the risk that something would happen to the younger Shadowhunter was too great. He quickly performed the rune of Binding, the air around Masque stirring before going still again. "He won't come to any harm, but we can't risk our own safety. We're needed too much." He glanced at Cin; the fairy had mentioned he was looking for his brother's intended. Exactly how many missing fairies were there?

Instead of asking, he turned to
Sien. "Can you put a glamour on him? We need to find a way back to the Institute, quickly. Nick, keep an eye on him and keep your stele drawn." He frowned. "I was hoping one of you would know how to hotwire a car. We can't exactly take the train back."

Grayson flinched as his pack went down; even his beta. As he stared at their forms, he felt...nothing. "I'd rather not mess up this suit any more then it already has been." He murmured as he kept his eyes on his second in command before raising them to Paragon. I'll make you pay, one day. But right now, he needed to survive, to live. "I'll come quietly."

Ana went still with shock when Vyle kissed her. Absolutely still, as though one small breath would cause the moment to shatter. Her hands instinctively went to his chest as he pulled away, but she found she couldn't respond to his question, her lips parted slightly as she stared up at him. Time seemed to slow as her mind struggled to process. But he didn't....he never....."Do you..." She removed one of her hands from Vyle to press them to her lips, hesitantly.

Some part of the old Teliana, the one that had withered the moment she had entered Milosh's room, opened up a little at the affection. Don't question it. If this is a dream, do you really want to ruin it?

No. Ana moved cautiously, winding her arms around
Vyle's waist. Confidence would only take her so far, and she stopped herself before she pushed the limits. "I could have used that earlier." She whispered, resting her forehead on his chest. Could have used you a lot earlier.
"Don't let me go." the words were said so quietly, she wasn't even sure they had left her lips. But she meant them.

Treasa flipped off Derrick when he wasn't looking, just for being a jerk. I didn't realize we were "friends". She let Alastar and Derrick talk while she sorted out her injury, binding it with the remaining cloth before pulling her quiver to her lap and going through her supply of arrows. She was short a good twenty, if not more. By her count, she would probably be short more before she had time to stop at an actual armorers. Sighing, she got to her feet, testing out the strength of her leg before turning, just in time to catch the end of Derrick's sentence.

"Those women clearly didn't have standards." she replied, hoisting the quiver onto her shoulder. "And we didn't happen upon any other witchers. Alive, anyway." She started walking past her
uncle, then paused, resting a hand on his shoulder. "I've got to collect wood." She murmured. Her eyes remained on his face for a moment, before she turned and began walking towards the river. She wouldn't go out of sight, never had and probably never would, but she didn't feel the need to be babysat every time she went for a short walk.

"I'll be back shortly. Perhaps I'll find your friend along the way." She called back to
Derrick, waving in a gesture that showed far more confidence then she felt.

Kara shook her head at Laurentinus, about to explain, when Alice walked buy. The girl seemed to be focusing hard on Kara, who gasped as icy fingers trailed down her back. Wiping her sopping hair out of her eyes, she blinked as she looked down at her leg, watching the wound heal itself. Well....that was one way of doing things. "Thank you!" She called to Alice, as the girl walked away before turning back to Ren with a small, uncertain smile.

"I guess that makes us even?" She asked, shrugging as her hair dripped into her face and avoiding his own question. "Come on. I'll stick with you." She grabbed his hand and led him back to the group, trying to wring out her hair with the other.
