Yup, exactly. And let's pretend that right by there is where the gummi ship is located. Like, they go through a door right there and it turns out...
Is this the last stand? Sora wondered as he fought off two more men. They flew over the side of the path, into the black abyss. He kept fighting off men, but more and more kept coming. Within a matter of minutes, he knew that he would be overwhelmed and overpowered. But if it gave his friends freedom, then it was worth it.
One request for this current situation I got going on here...;D Let's have them run, but they stop at the bottom of the ramps. Something's going...
Sora looked at Kairi for a brief moment, pained to let her go. But he knew it had to be done. He turned back to Roxas, looking him int he eye. "Go. Go now!" Sora turned around just as the men were coming down the path to get them and attacked them first, not allowing a single man to get past him despite the large number that were coming.
Sora nodded back to Roxas. "Let's--" "There are the intruders!" A guard cried from above them, interrupting Sora's sentence. "All of you move in!" Sora turned frantically to his friend, looking him directly in the eye. There was NO way they could fight this battle with the girls here. There was only one option. "Roxas, take the girls to the ship. As soon as you get there, start it up. If worse comes to worst, you leave without me--understand?"
It's nothing huge, really. Just a little bit more fast-paced stuff. =)
Sora nodded, looking from Roxas to Kairi. "He's right; now's not the time to be talking. We better go." He looked down at the Keyblade still present in his hand as he rose to his feet, eyes looking around. He couldn't see the fire that ravaged that one room, but he was sure it would be close behind them. They had already spent more time talking than they should have.
Yeah, I'm excited for it. =)
Sora awkwardly rubbed the back of his head when he heard Kairi's question. He lowered his gaze and answered Roxas' inquiry first. "I don't know what they were going to do, but with that kind of power, they could have done whatever they wanted." And in response to Kairi's answer, he simply answered by saying "They told me."
Yuppers. =D
"...I think..." Sora stared slowly. "That they were going to try and take her ability to rearrange and create memories," he said, remembering things that happened before his torture session. "And they needed her in a coma to do that.
Don't worry, it's coming in the near future. =)
"Hmm," Sora hummed sympathetically. There wasn't much he could say in response to that--things were bad, and they all knew it. But no matter what, they all had to know that Namine would recover from this. She wasn't one to give up without a fight.
Hmm....I don't know. We'll have to see. ;D
Sora's heart ached for his friends. It was clear that none of them were getting out of this unscathed. Especially not Namine. Fate had a way of testing her harder than it tested anyone. He knew what that felt like...he had a rough time in the past year. And he sympathized with his friend more than anybody could realize.
Once the conversation is over, I have an idea. And instead of telling you it right now, I'll just have it play out in the RP itself. ;D
Sora tuned into the conversation without interrupting. He didn't know exactly what they were talking about, but he was sure he'd find out in the near future. For now, anyway, he wouldn't ask any stupid questions.
"He's right," Sora said softly, setting his free hand on Kairi's shoulder. "You kept her safe until we could come. And that means a lot." The brunette wasn't just saying this to comfort her--he meant it. Kairi had done a good job, and he was proud of her.
Yeah, my family is pretty much totally awesome. :) haha
