Yeah, the end was TERRIFIC. Poor Roxas. =(
Sora kept his back against the wall as he approached another corner. He peeked his head around and then quickly pulled it back. Stairs to the next floor. And one guard coming down them. He was definitely going to come their way, so Sora knew it would be best to just take him out when he came to them instead of rushing to him. He turned to his friends and motioned for them to stay quiet and take a few steps away from him.
I played Days too! It wasn't bad, but not my favorite KH game. xD
Black entered the room a few moments later, a bunch of men waiting for him and his partner. He nodded to them all, signaling that it was time to get to work. He wanted this to be done as soon as possible just so he could know for sure this plan was going down without a problem. Sora slowly opened the door, peeked his head out and then brought his head back in. He shut his eyes and summoned his two favorite Keyblades (The Kingdom Key and Lion Heart) before he slipped out the door into an empty hallway. He kept moving, knowing his friends were right behind him.

Sora opened his door and exited the ship at Roxas's signal. As he expected, there were no guards. But he was sure they'd run into some on the way. They had to be careful; they couldn't take on a lot of men while they were on the defensive. The result would be their deaths, simple as that. His death...Roxas's death...Kairi's death. He wasn't going to allow that to happen. He stepped out of the ship and shut the door behind him, walking a few steps toward the door. Black walked down the hall, knowing the two sentries from Namine's room would stay there to guard her. One would be right outside the door, and the other would be inside. Not that anybody was coming to get her anyway. This was running perfectly thus far.

Sora unbuckled himself and turned to his friends. Roxas was already heading out the door, but he said it anyway. "We have to be stealthy," he said softy. "I'll take the lead, Kairi in the middle, Roxas cover the rear. We can't let them know we're here or we're toast." Black turned and headed for the door. They were going to tune up the machine, just to make sure things would go properly. But he had no doubt that they would go perfectly fine. The universe would soon belong to him.
Kinda. xD I was thinking they would just sneak through and kill off guards as they go; switching clothes would take too much time. xP
Sora nodded and wordlessly selected the lower dock. That was what he had been thinking, too. The ship automatically piloted itself in, and in a few seconds, they were at the dock. It was empty; there was no other ship there or guards. Black turned to the other two henchmen. "Have all technological staff meet in the room with the power sucker," he ordered. "I'm activating security; one man will be walking through each hallway from the first floor to the seventh." He pushed a button on his walkie-talkie to initiate the security movement.

Namine's wide eyes darted from Ross to Black, her heart rate speedy. But after a brief moment, her eyes fell shut and her heart slowed down to its normal speed. Black's men released her and laid her out flat on the bed. Her heart slowed even more and her breathing became much slower as well. Black nodded to Ross, content. It only took a few moments and here she was, already in her coma. And within the next twelve hours, they would be able to take her power. Of course, it would take her life as well, but that didn't concern him at all. Sora turned to his friend. "It's up to you, Roxas."
No, I haven't. I'll look it up right now. And I officially have no school tomorrow. =D
Namine's eyes widened. "No," she said, panicking. "I won't let you near me with that thing." Black shook his head. "You don't have a choice in the matter," he said simply. He turned to the two men standing beside him. "Hold her down." Namine gasped as she saw them coming closer to her. One grabbed onto her right arm before she could react. She tried to punch the other one, but he merely took a hold of her fist and kept her still. "No!" she cried out. "If we go too high," Sora thought aloud, "we may miss her floor entirely. But if we're too low, we'll have to do some extra searching. Unless she is on a lower floor..." he trailed off, trying to figure out what the best solution was. Ultimately, though, it was up to Roxas. It was his girlfriend at stake, after all.

Sora opened his eyes and looked at the monitor even though he already knew the answer. "Two." Namine instinctively cowered back from the necklace. "What is that?" she asked softly. The bravery that had been present the rest of the conversation was staring to fade away as she realized the extreme severity of the situation. "A necklace Carter made," Black responded. "It was an experimental project that put its subjects into a coma until their power could be harvested through another machine." He shook his head slightly, saddened that Carter couldn't see the brilliance in his own invention. "It's a shame he never thought to utilize it."
