"Tidus...I..." Yuna stopped, hearing a knock on the door. Turning her head, she sighed, as if disappointed. "I'll...I'll have to get that..." she said, as she stood, walking over to the door. Turning the doorknob, she turned it open to see ZC, standing there. Widening her eyes, she said, "ZC...I...I didn't expect to talk to you...so fast..."
Hmm...maybe it's the shock of all the sadness and pain you're feeling, that you're completely numb, unable to feel...
How's...everything? I haven't talked to you in a while again...!
Appearing back in The World That Never Was, Namine's chains were now gone, as she had clasped her hands together behind her back. Sora was not there...where had he decided to go instead? Tilting her head up, she gazed at the glowing heart-shaped moon in the sky...Kingdom Hearts. It was finished...and she could...have her very own heart...just like she wanted... But... That voice of her other side spoke in her own mind. But...if you do...you can never return to Kairi...it'd be as if you were your own Somebody...and the darkness...can control you easier. I am a Nobody, already of darkness...as a Somebody, it'd be more difficult...and...and with my own heart...I could even...die...easily. Among other numerous disadvantages I have yet to contemplate about... I don't...I don't want to depend on Kairi though...I don't...I don't... The dark side of her was wavering, as she closed her eyes, her mind waging within herself. Remember...why I had accepted the darkness from Sora...so I could be by his side...so I could help him...having a heart would complicate things and not help one bit...so...no...I cannot...should not...have a heart... The darkness engulfing her now drew back, and when she opened her eyes, they shone a bright shade of sapphire blue - like their usual luster of kindness...not the one of the darker shade of evil that she had a couple of moments ago. She was herself...and the darkness, suppressed...for now, that was. "So...ra..." she murmured to herself. "Sora..."
Kairi please. :)
Shadow...are you still here?
Aerith please. :)
Oh, I've gotta go...be back later!! *gives everyone a hug*
Zexion widened his eyes as he caught the swift 'scent' of Roxas. The Cloaked Schemer himself was hidden in an illusion, she he could not be seen but the boy was making himself seen. Quickly, he raised his hand, covering him in an illusion that made him not seem to be there...hopefully, it was in time. "It's not my fault they followed me, and I don't distinctly remember you telling me to come alone," Larxene said, crossly. "But very well..." She walked forward and roughly grabbing Xert's wrist. "We shall speak alone..." Glancing behind her at where she knew Zexion was standing around, she cast him a look that told him not to follow. Darkness surrounded them, and they appeared over at the Addled Pass. Releasing him, she turned to him, demanding, "Tell me everything you know...whether Axel is truly faded away...and if someone tampered with the machine." Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Zexion removed the illusions and shook his head. Well, no use following them...besides, Larxene would tell him later, wouldn't she? But now...it was time for some other work. "Roxas, Xangel, come over here," he called over to them, as he turned to shout. "Max! Show yourself!" He could feel a slight 'scent' of him, somewhere, and he knew that he had to be watching them...and he needed to talk to him now. OOC: Sorry, I've gotta go...be back later though!!
OOC: Ah, too bad...I'll have Namine leave then. lol Namine tilted her head to the side, a lock of golden blonde hair falling over her left shoulder. "What? What is this?" she asked, widening her eyes, as if surprised. "You seem frightened...of me? My, you make me laugh..." She gave a small chuckle. "So...you know what? I'm going to wait for you to grow stronger...and when you do...I'll return to finish our fight...or better yet..." Darkness began to circle her as she disappeared. "You'll come to me..."
"...Do you mean that...as...my lover?" Yuna asked, looking up at him, her eyes sparkling with hope. She wasn't sure if he meant that as a friend, or something more...it sounded like the latter, but she could never be too sure... OOC: Love square? lol xD But anyway...did Axel go back to his room yet?
She heard Roxas speak, but she did not answer, merely watched. When the footage finished, Larxene frowned. She knew Axel was placed in a machine after that fight, so he could live...he wasn't actually dead...was he? "If you want to talk again, you can meet me on the Skyscraper..." Remembering his words, she quickly made a portal, vanishing into it, and appearing on the Skyscraper. "Xert!" she shouted, her voice trembling with anger and sadness. "Where are you?" Larxene had disappeared quite quickly, as if she suddenly remembered something...what it was Zexion was not quite sure, but all he knew was that her 'scent' was now on the Skyscraper. "Roxas...Vexen...check that machine again, find anything that seems out of place," he said, turning his head to them. "We're trying to find out...who murdered Axel...might have tampered with the machine..." He glanced at Roxas. "And trust me...I did not do this..." Darkness swirled around him and he disappeared, along with Xangel. There was no way he was leaving her alone with the two angry Nobodies... OOC: I'm dragging Xangel everywhere. xD lol But by Saix stabbing Axel in the stomache, you did mean the fight in the Addled Pass? Not in the machine?
Grinning, Namine lifted her chains up, to wrap around her neck, cutting off her oxygen. "My, this would be easy, wouldn't it?" she taunted. "I could stay like this and you'd suffocate...if I yanked it, I might shift your bone, instantly killing you...but now...that would be way to easy?" She tightened the chains' hold around her neck. "Wouldn't it?" Relaxing, the chain slid around from her neck. "Of course, I rather have drag the battle on a bit longer...so I won't. To make things fair, why don't you strike me first?" She smiled, looking much like her innocent, usual self.
Hey, buggy, Last, Trace...! And you...you have a clown? O_O
Wow, chapter three is awesome! For any errors, basically the same advice I said earlier, but there are actually a bit less mistakes so...awesome job! :) The action was really thrilling, and the dialogue is great. I love the addition of the ninjas, and the fact that someone died makes the story intense yet, not that serious, being able to have a touch of humor (such as in the end a bit). So, all in all, great job! Also...mentioning me makes me feel quite warm inside so, thank you! *hugs tightly* Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens next! The mystery and fights really keeps you on your toes, and I really want to know what happens next!
"Well, I'm just telling you that you better relish the peace you're in right now..." Namine answered, as chains appeared within her right hand. "Because you'll be in a much worse condition pretty soon..." A soft smirk passed over her lips. "I hope you're ready?"
As Xert tossed an object at her, Larxene's hand quickly darted up, smoothly catching it. After he spoke his few last words, he disappeared in a swirl of darkness. Sa...ix? she thought, shocked at who he said it was. It was...Saix...? "I suppose we must watch that information at Vexen's lab..." Zexion remarked. Larxene had merely silently nodded, as Zexion opened a portal, taking the three of them to the labatory. A computer was on one of the pristine white tables, which had miraculously managed to stay unharmed from Roxas's rage upon discovering Axel's death. Gesturing to it, he said, "Place it there, and let's see..." Nodding, Larxene briskly stepped over to the computer, stabbing the flash drive into it, waiting for the information to appear... OOC: I forgot if anyone was in the labatory. xD If so...Larxene would've ignored them anyway. lol
Hey everyone...bye Kuro-sama...! *hugs Kuro-sama*
Gazing up, Namine felt a soft stinging sensation at the back of her eyes. Closing her eyes, she inhaled and exhaled slowly. Why was she...about to cry? Maybe...maybe she just needed a good fight with someone...drain them of their darkness...or just...something...that girl, she remembered, seemed ready to fight...perhaps she could use her. Opening her eyes and turning to Sora, she said, "Sora...I have...something to do. If Kingdom Hearts' process is about to finish, or you need me for anything, just call for me." Raising her arm, she then opened a portal of darkness, taking her back to Twilight Town, atop a building overlooking the Sandlot. Tifa was sitting up on the ground, her long locks of dark hair falling over her shoulders, and her ankle, red and sore. Namine smiled at the sight, remembering just how nice it was to see her suffering. You sound just like Larxene... Silence... she scolded her other side mentally, her smile quickly turning into a frown. She knew if her light was to disappear completely, she would have to absorb some more darkness, or fight until it engulfed her completely. You don't want to be lik- Raising her arm, her other side was silenced immediately. Tilting her head down, Namine had darkness, surround Tifa's ankle, shifting the bone to be positioned correctly. It was a bit of a painful process for the girl she knew, but at least she could stand now, right? And it was only brief... Waiting for Tifa to realize she could stand - which wasn't long -, Namine then spoke, "Feel better?"
