I think there will be a new KH based world in KH 3. Twilight town, the world that never was, and Land of departure are my favorite kh original worlds. I'm pretty sure they'll make a new one since they make one in almost every game. It would be nice if the new world was like a modern city, with skyscrapers and roads and stuff like that.

I think that they disappeared along with the islands in KH I. In KH II, They probably forgot about him like everyone else, but suddenly remember. Now that you mention it, what the heck is Sora doing leaving on his own without telling his parents. Maybe they're not a close family, which forces Sora to be closer to his friends, which is the reason why he seems to care about them more than his family.
