Balmore Manor - Church Suzaku gritted his teeth, pulling on Keel's pants and pulling himself to his knees, "You must. I'll only slow you down. I'll...hold him off while you get out of here." He glared at Seth and lifted his gun, "If you aren't Seth Balmore...who are you?" Seth's casual grin spread from ear to ear, "There are some things in this world that you'd be better off not knowing." Sweating, Suzaku struggled to keep his eyes open, "I see then...so you're that guy. I never thought Nina's stories were true." Seth set a hand on Rin's shoulder and kept the same smile for her, "Oh, I'm just making headway in the Vampire Hunter Society, Rin." He knelt down to her, his red and black marked eyes meeting hers, "You must understand my motives for lying to you about who I am, Rin. I'm protecting you by keeping who I am a secret. You see...Yuki, Mirabelle, and Cooke...even they don't know the truth. They truly believe Seth Balmore lives on. And in a way, he does...in me. I do hope you'll continue to stay here." While Seth was talking to Rin, Suzaku pulled the hammer back on his gun and weakly shoved at Keel to get him to move towards the door. Firing off a few more shots into Seth's back, Suzaku allowed himself a slight smirk of satisfaction. Rolling his head around, Seth glared at him and reached out with one hand towards Suzaku. Suzaku gained a burst of strength and pushed Keel out of the way as black fire coursed towards them. Two slashes cut into his back in the midst of the black fire, burning the skin around the cuts. "Why aren't you moving!?"
~~~Konohagakure: Village Hidden in the Leaves~~ Naruto and Kakashi returned even more sullen than before. "Kaito..I'm going to have to leave you for a bit. Naruto and I need to head out. We'll be back in a few days." He kept that serene expression on his face despite the worry deep inside him. Naruto felt Hinata's chakra and turned towards her, "Hinata! So you're coming too?" "Naruto, you should know who's coming. Didn't you assign them this mission?" Kakashi frowned at him and Naruto flushed, "Of course I did. I know who's coming." Shaking his head, Kakashi and Naruto moved to join Hinata. A three man squad would move faster to get to the Hidden Sound Village. Even now...Kakashi could feel a heavy weight settle on him. ~~~Village Hidden in the Sound~~~ Out of the dust caused by Yasuzu's jutsu, she lept backwards and searched for the figure. "Nhh!" Turning 90 degrees on her heel, her sword met with the kunai again. Her eyes widened slowly as the figure drew a long sword from her cloak. No...how could I miss that!? The sword slashed upwards through Yasuzu's clothes, cutting a long line along her left arm as she narrowly dodged it. "Very good. I expected no less from a Cloud shinobi." "Grr..." She's good...my Byakugan can't keep up with all her moves. This may be...my last battle. Calming her Byakugan, Yasuzu lifted her sword so it was level with the ground. "Cloud-Style: Frontal Beheading!" Dashing towards her opponent with lightning speed, she made one desperate slash for her throat only to catch a wall of fluttering butterflies. "Damn you..."

Church Seth half stood, half leaned on the stairs, his hand halfway to his wound. Shock spread through him. Suzaku was...alive? And he'd shot him. Slowly...very slowly, he glanced down at his wound. Just as he thought...straight through the heart. "Suzaku...I thought..." His body shook, all his muscles twitching at once. Taking a long breath, he exhaled slowly and stopped the constant movement. Opening his eyes, Nina saw Seth's eyes had gone not just scarlet red but held markings of pure black within the iris. "You...you're...! I never imagined...you would still be alive. You are not...." before she could finish her sentence, Seth's entire arm had impaled through her. "Goodbye...Nina Balmore. The last of the Balmore Clan...has finally been laid to rest." Blood spilled from Nina's lips as she fell lifelessly to the ground. Suzaku struggled to lift his head, "Wh-who...are you?" Seth smiled casually and malevolently. "Not...Seth Balmore. No...he died years ago. Didn't you wonder where your mission came from to eliminate Seth Balmore? It came directly from the leader of the Balmore Clan...yes...Mr. Balmore himself. Seth...and Valentine's father ordered my death." He closed his eyes for a moment, that ever piercing gaze was shut off from Suzaku and Keel's sight. Suzaku grabbed Keel's pant leg, "Run...you have to...get out of here. This man...is not Seth Balmore....he's much...worse..." Cabin Nick scratched the back of his head nervously, "Well I didn't really have a decision in mind... Hm? Ah, sure, Serena. I'll be right back, Annie." He slipped past Annie and stood before Serena with his hands in his pockets. "Something up?"
VS. White Zetsu leaned an incredible length backwards, nearly touching his head to the ground to dodge the lightning, while a barrier of earth rose up around the two, shielding them from harm. Kakashi had pulled up his bandanna and watched them carefully with his Sharingan. "We'll never hit them that wa--ugh." His body became surrounded by the pillars of wood, wrapping around his legs, arms and torso. Being held immobile, Kakashi stared hard at both Zetsu halves, "What is it you want?" Black Zetsu's barrier of earth slowly lowered, "The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki...where is it?" Kakashi suppressed the urge to flinch at his words, "He's not here with us. For all we know...he's not even on this strange world." Though he was lying, Kakashi would do anything to protect his students. A blue glow started to come from one of Kakashi's hands, followed by lightning and finally the shrill scream of one-thousand birds. "Your obsession with Naruto will get you killed. Lightning Blade!" Lifting his hand, his concentrated chakra split the wood surrounding him and he chopped away the wood trying to restrain Teridax. Gazing down Black Zetsu's body, he noticed the roots from his missing half were buried underground, probably connected to the other one. "Teridax, be careful...they can communicate through their thoughts to one another." He pulled out a kunai and his eyes widened with shock, "What?" Springing up from Kakashi's body and the others' as well, came a mushy white solid foam-like substance. White Zetsu laughed, "I can't believe even Kakashi of the Sharingan didn't detect my Spores!" Kakashi fell to his knees, dropping the kunai as the spores sucked out his chakra. "Don't get arrogant with us." Black Zetsu warned in that menacing tone of his. They both were silent for a while and their attacks receeded. "We found him. The Jinchuriki...and Tobi." White Zetsu started to slither back underground, the spike plants around his waist closing up around him like a flower closing up. "Tobi is a good boy. But first...your chakra!" The spores around them disappeared, floating back and landing on White Zetsu. He licked his lips and smiled horrifically, "Thank you~!" Returning to his other half's side, they merged together again and together they closed their venus flytrap like plant around them and sunk back under the earth. Kakashi remained on his knees, sweating and panting from the lack of chakra within him. Closing his eyes, he passed out, falling face first into the dirt.
That's the way I feel about Gaara. ^////^ that face...so cute. *ahem* As for Shikamaru...I can't even see him as a kid anymore. Not after his and Asuma's fight with Hidan and Kakazu... After Asuma died that is.
Charlotte flicked her gaze to each of them and suddenly grinned wickedly. "Never in a million years would I ask the help of two weaklings like you!" Using only her fingertips, she pushed herself up, her legs swinging over her head and smacking Shuya and Ezek in the heads with her shoes. She landed daintily between the two and took off running. For a few short seconds she ran alone, then Mytoko ran beside her. "Filthy woman." "Stupid kid." They shot at eachother.
Sasori is one of your favorites? Cool...me too. Compared to Gaara and Itachi, he's probably got the third sexiest voice. Sasuke doesn't count cause he's emo and he ran off to a body snatching perv.
Balmore Manor Seth smiled down at Rin, squeezing her hand lightly, "Don't worry...they won't pull the trigger. They can't. They wouldn't ever harm one of the last purebloods in the world. Especially one that can make a human carry on the Pureblood bloodline." At his words, Nina froze, "You're lying." "Take the chance and shoot me." Taking a deep breath, Nina scowled at him, her fangs receeding. "You're a liar! I hate you, Seth Balmore! I hate your entire bloodline! And today...today I'm going to end it. No more Balmores..." Her hand tightened on the trigger and the sound of a gunshot rang out. Seth's body luched backwards, stumbling onto the steps, a rapidly increasing amount of blood showing on his shirt. He blinked in surprise. Suzaku panted rapidly before collapsing back down on the ground. His gun smoking from the shot. Cabin Nick hardly moved, "How about tomorrow. Ikuto's supposedly coming back with Sammy and the kids. We'll go out and Serena can watch them."

Pakkun sat at the four girls' feet, "These are the four we smelt before. The other one...is further behind." The rest of the dogs circled around the four before sitting down at Kakashi's feet. "Uh...friends of yours?" He waved his hand at the four girls. White Zetsu burst from the ground in between the girls and Kakashi and his partner. "Hello~!" His plant-like substance twirling around him so he especially looked like a plant emerging from the ground. "I found you, Kakashi Hatake!" Black Zetsu shook his head at his other half's way too cheerful greeting. Focusing on using his only arm to creat the handsigns needed, "Earth Style: Earthen Spears." Rising out of the ground around White Zetsu, spears of earth shot up, heading for Kakashi, Teridax and the four girls. Predicting Kakashi's moves, he continued, "Wood Style: Binding Wood Prison."

Xigbar grinned at the girl before snapping his fingers and opening a dark corridor, "I ain't got no promises this'll be easy for you." He shoved her into the dark corridor and followed suit. They stepped out not in Twilight Town, but his favorite place ever...Hollow Bastion. "We'll start here. Better place than that desolate Twilight Town if you ask me." Summoning his Arrowguns, he glanced around. "Alright...so first things first. The name's Xigbar. There are three...well at least three, things you have to do in this Organization. Recon...which is probably the most boring of them all. It's gathering information about a certain person or a place. Usually...it's left to those who are waaaay lamer than me...or Vexen. Heart Collection...if you can use the Keyblade then that's your job for life here. Like Tiger and Poppet, it's their jobs forever. Otherwise...we're left with simply distracting and squashing any early signs of serious Heartless threat. We're like the protectors of these worlds..." he stopped tapping his arrowguns against his shoulder, "Except...we couldn't care less." Xigbar pulled up his hood, hiding his face efficiently and reached over to yank up Xenon's hood. "Last...well, it's a job I'm quite good at. General Combat. Those with the strength stand against the brat and his friends. The Keyblade Master...is our constant enemy. Though he does his job well in helping create Kingdom Hearts by collecting Hearts for us....he's still a big problem when it comes down to the final preparations." Xion caught his gaze and immediately withdrew. "No...I won't." She lowered her head sadly and Axel desperately waved his hands and ice cream about, "Hey, that's no reason to get gloomy. We can still hang out like before and now that she's awake...aren't things better, Roxas? C'mon...you're not going to let a little lack of work with your friends get you down, are ya?" He patted Roxas' shoulder, "You've still got me, right? And...if we're lucky and in time...Xemnas and Saix will forget about the whole thing." He smiled when Xion lifted her head, a relieved expression on her face. "Axel's right, Roxas. If we work hard...things will go back to the way they were..." The way they were... Those words resonated in her head, in memories that weren't hers. She froze, her hand held suspended in the air as her ice cream melted and fell away.
