Luce felt Scott's gaze land on her after he'd spoken. Why was he always looking at her? It was starting to tick her off. Slowly, she turned her head and glared at Scott, "If you keep that up, you'll be apologizing until you die." Flickiing her icy gaze over the new three Acolytes, she slid her feet off the table and onto the ground. "I'm Luce, not that it matters. Unlike those children," she waved her hand over her shoulder towards Scott and Adam, "I'm the first found in our disfunctional little family and the eldest." She paused, not for effect, but to suppress the voice in her head and reprimand herself for running her mouth again. Her fingers touched her back pocket where she kept her cigarettes. She didn't smoke...no, she had a much more dangerous habit
I, for one, think that game might not be so bad. It looks interesting enough to me.
Luce half listened to Adam's agitated rambling and Scott's response. She'd never liked her first two members of their estranged family, but she held no feelings of positive encouragement towards Alexis. The past was the past and Luce couldn't quite remember everything that happened a few days ago. She was the oldest out of all of them...it wasn't an impressive feat...it didn't even make her feel better. It only meant, Azazel had destroyed their lives a few years after hers. Lenny had said to Luce on their last mission that she should become a monster...and direct her hatred towards Azazel. It was something she would do without hesitation. Directing half her attention to the constant sound of Adam's lighter and the other half to the new arrivals. She sat relaxed in one of the many chairs of the Roadhouse. Lucy.... Her mind played tricks on her. Shifting her position, she ignored the irritation that built up in her at the sound of that voice in her head. Hearing Eliza speak, she lifted her head, "We wait...it's all we can do." She didn't like the newcomers, but she didn't want to waste energy trying to kill them when Lenny wouldn't let her. She wouldn't make the same mistake as she did with Alexis. A fight would waste the energy she'd use to destroy Azazel, the Yellow-Eyed Demon, or any other demon that got in her way.
Xigbar glanced back to find Xena gone and looked back to Cloud. How frustrating that she'd up and leave when they need to get out of here. Fighting with the citizens wasn't apart of his mission and he didn't feel like doing more than necessary today. Grinning under his hood, he backed away from Cloud, "Heh, lucky for you, blondie, that I've got something else I have to do. I'd say it was nice to see you again...but it wasn't. Ha, catch ya later." With that, he vanished into a dark corridor, leaving Cloud. He reappeared in front of Xena. Shoving off his hood, he didn't bother pulling out his ponytail. "You're gonna cause me a lot of trouble by running away like that every time we train. If you're looking for encouraging words, you're looking at the wrong guy. I'm not one to say cutesy things and make your life easier."
Once Xigbar saw she weidled no obvious weapon and relied on one lesser Nobody rather than summoning more than one or using magic. He was bored the second she moved. Looking away, he found himself caught in a staring contest with a rather familiar blonde spiky haired man. "Ah well, I guess lessons are over, huh. Lemme guess, you want us to leave, right, blondie?" The man glared at him silently and Xigbar lifted his hands in surrender, "Hey now...heheh..." Larxene pushed herself up from the floor, sparking with fury and fear. That girl... "What is she?" Larxene brushed off her coat and slowly followed her. Axel made a face at Roxas for stealing his catchphrase. "Hey...that's a cheap shot, making fun of me." Xion smiled at them, "Roxas...do you...remember --" Axel grabbed Roxas' shoulder, "Hey, Roxas, how about since Xion's back, tomorrow after work we go to the beach."

It was only after he'd given her permission that his mind wandered away from ancient languages to Giselle taking a shower in the next room from where he was sitting.
Balmore Manor Seth sat beside Rin, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear. "That...is a secret. I cannot tell even you, my precious one. But...I have grown rather fond of the name Seth. Seth's eyes followed him the entire way, "Honestly, do you think a blade will kill me if your bullets did not?" he tsked him and the bullets slowly wormed their way out of Seth's back. Larxene was in fact not unconscious. Her body hurt like hell, but she still watched the girl from beneath her eyelashes. How could it be that this girl used a foreign power that she'd never even seen Xemnas use before. Could it be...that was the reason she held a number that shouldn't exist and a place higher than her Superior? She watched and gauged Xue's reaction time. It was slow now. The girl didn't react at all to Raoxthu's words or Vexen. She mearly turned on her heel and left quietly. This child...is much more dangerous than I foresaw before hand. Xemnas finally looked up, noticing Xollot. How long had he been inside his head? He didn't have a mission for her nor did he have anything to tell her. Another twinge inside him diverted his attention to the brief sensation of impending destruction. "Xollot...I have a job for you to do around here. Go and make yourself useful by keeping Vexen company...." Even Saix looked up in surprise. An odd job for a newbie. Vexen was tempermental and intrusive, not to mention a very acute person in mindframe. Larxene caught Raoxthu's hand and ducked under Demyx's swing. But with her attention momentarily on them, Xue had pressed her right palm to Larxene's chest. A tingling sensation sprung up from the contact and burst into an electric pulse so powerful she couldn't absorb it and was flung backwards into Raoxthu, Vexen and Demyx. "Oof...why you..." She pushed herself up and froze in her tracks. Xue...the quiet, blue haired girl, weilded two Ethereal Blades like Xemnas did, but blue with handles to hold onto. Her bangs hid her golden eyes from view but the smile on her face was one of pure malice, "Amaterasu..." she mumbled and black flames scurried along the floor towards them. They surrounded Larxene and Larxene alone, though they held an extra heat as if they were regular flames. Larxene's teal eyes went dull and she shrieked in terror shortly before collapsing on the ground. The flames slunk back towards Xue, being absorbed into her boots and coat. Her Ethereal Blades disappeared and she lifted her head again, a pitying look in her eyes as she gazed at Larxene's unconsious body.
Cabin Nick's eyes widened after a second to process what she'd said. "You want...to encourage Rosh? But, Serena, Ikuto...he...that's the most I've ever seen him talk to a girl in ten years that wasn't half his height and age!" Spreading his hands as he spoke in exasperation, "Even if...I did speak to him....he's not going to listen to a word I say. Serena...I want you to be sure of yourself before showing interest in Rosh. Today...he was just keeping his distance to be polite or something, I"m sure, but...tomorrow..or the day after...who knows what he'll do." treehouse Valentine had slunk away from Ceril when she wasn't paying attention. The Vampire Hunter hurled himself backwards, avoiding the brunt of the damage. Tossing aside his gun, he reached for the blade he kept at his side and found it missing. "Damn..."

Xigbar looked down at his empty left hand, "He's someone most of us knew before. Now we know him like the back of our hands. Sora's his name...and his friend, Riku, are nothin' more than bothers. If you see them...try not to do anything stupid like fight them. Leave that for the members with hearts. We only have one chance at this...they...if struck down by Sora and his gang, will become Heartless and Nobodies. It's just easier for us not to stick our necks on the line when someone else can do it twice." He headed down the street, walking slowly, "Now...your first test is simple. This will do." Stopping in the middle of the square, several Heartless, Pureblood Shadows and Soldiers, popped up, each twitching in their familiar manner. Xemnas sat quietly, ignoring Xollot. Saix sat in his usual seat, quietly enjoying being in his master's presence. He glanced up and scowled at Xollot, "A watched pot never boils. Isn't that what they say?" Naturally he was snippy, being tired from reviewing all the mission reports and sorting out tomorrow's missions, he just wanted to sit quietly and ponder with Xemnas. Though the Superior didn't take notice of him, he still felt much more refreshed after doing so. Xemnas' golden eyes slid upwards. He watched them with an empty gaze and went back to focusing on the sensation he'd felt earlier. Was it truly a feeling? Could they be closer than before to gaining hearts and he just didn't realize it? But...what sort of feeling was it? Did it even have a name? It wasn't anger...that much he knew. Sort of a swelling shakiness had settled in his body when he had gazed down at the sleeping Xue after visiting Xion. Maybe...talking to his 'friend' would sort things out inside his head. Larxene grumbled as she stalked into the dining room. "Ugh, if I even see another piece of sushi again I'm going to LOSE IT!" "Then perhaps it would be wise to steer clear of fish." Xue's light voice followed behind her and Larxene's teal eyes slid to the side, though she never turned to look at her fully. "Hmph, if it were that easy, I don't think I'd have to voice it. Anyways...I'd heard you were bedridden. Did a Heartless get the better of you...poor Xue-y-wooey." she mocked openly even as they now stood behind Vexen and Raoxthu. Xue's face remained impassive, "No...I summoned it...and it drained me of energy. Doing my mission requires such sacrifices. Perhaps...if you sacrificed more of your pride for the sake of the mission...you wouldn't return so hot tempered." Treding on thin ice, Xue and Larxene stared at each other. "Why you-" "If you intend to harm me...a lack of witnesses would be in your favor." Xue ceased speaking as her gaze landed on Raoxthu. Lifting a hand slowly, she attempted a wave and the beginnings of a smile started to form on her lips as the back of Larxene's hand connected with her cheek, whipping her head to the side. Xue dropped her hand, a single blazing blue ethereal blade forming in her left hand.
