All I know is that .avi worked and now it doesn't. EDIT: Staff can delete this now. I solved the problem myself. Thanks for the help though guys. Just had to install DivX.
Remind me real quick where I can check that out. I haven't made videos in a while. I just did what I always do. Made the video stretch to fit aspect ratio. And... hold on a sec guys there are no codecs on my computer because I had to delete them to make these ones work and ugh I'll be back a 5. Alright we'll get to the problem in a second. I can't see any videos on my computer now. I installed that thing Hayabusa linked. Now I can't see any videos in Vegas at all. Help me with this first. EDIT: .wmv works in vegas. .avi now does not. It did. Does not now.

I'm making an AMV using the Standard quality cutscenes here and for some reason Vegas 8 won't let me render anything in high definition. I don't know why it just makes the video all black and there are only two instances when the video shows for less than a second. I don't know what's up it was working fine before. Can anyone help?
