Well, the only reason Ookami-san has that narrator is because she is the same VA as Kuroko from A Certain Scientific Railgun (another anime by the same company). She's pretty much there for gags and DAT VOICE. Also, yeah, the fanservice in HSotD wasn't really necessary, but it's Japan. What do you expect? I'm also thinking about picking up Black Rock Shooter. What's it about? There's always that one cooky anime on the roster every season that people just look over, for some reason. I'm surprised you like it. lol
I'm watching Ookami-san, Amagami SS, Legendary Heroes, Seitokai Yakuindomo, High School of the Dead, Nuhrarihyon no Mago and Shi ki. Out of all of these, I recommend Amagami SS and especially High School of the Dead. How about you guys? EDIT: Also, ignore the title. I meant Summer, not Spring.

They didn't kill themselves. Basically Spoiler Tenshi/Angel/Kanade has evil clones of herself and they're unstoppable unless someone does a suicide mission and tackles her while "dying" in the process. After being killed, they come back to life within a few hours, (If you wanna know why, watch the series, I don't wanna spoil it) which explains why their deaths are so comedic.
