Well, yeah, it's the better sound quality that really is the selling point to me for vinyls, and plus just the whole novelty of it, since it really just isn't too common anymore. Also, apparently, people with vinyls say that it sounds like their playing the music live right in front of you. Eh, sound quality isn't THAT important to me. Ironically, I even listen to some lo-fi bands and albums, so, it isn't a big deal for me.
Well, yeah, ripping an album onto my computer is no worry for me, since I can just find the download or torrent for it anywhere. I just want something physical to collect.
So, I'm thinking about starting a Vinyl/CD collection. Vinyls look freaking sick, but I dunno if they're worth it compared to CDs and stuff. What do you guys think? Any vinyl aficionados out there to put in their 2 cents?
