I read that too, but in the promo videos they're still in their orignal outfits. Maybe it's the beginning of the game and they haven't gotten their new outfits yet?

If you remember, Scar does not exactly maintain his original form. He is darker, and has bits of darkness flying off of him. And his abilities change greatly. However, I think Scar's Heartless isn't really a Heartless that you think of normally- he became a Heartless because of the jealousy in his heart. According to Pete, Scar became a Heartless because of anger, not because he was truly consumed by darkness. He changed because of darkness inside of him, not because of outer darkness, which obviously has some effect- Ansem SoD gave himself to the darkness, and according to Ansem the Wise, the darkness accepted him because of his willingness to lose his heart. Scar is almost the same way. He did not choose to give his heart to darkness, but he did so unwillingly. However, this does still further him from other Heartless in a variety of ways. First off, it was because of his emotions, something I believe is rare among Heartless. Secondly, Scar's "death" after being destroyed left a ghost- or a large amount of ghosts, if you remember during your second Prideslands visit. Both of these give Scar some leverage as a powerful Heartless, meaning he is strong enough inside to control the darkness. As for his Nobody- that's the thing, where is his Nobody? It could be controlling a new Organization based off of Disney's Nobodies. Or, it could have become a simple Dusk. I think that, however, his Nobody may not be powerful enough to take a human/lion form as a Nobody. He might have become a new breed of Nobody, ones that look like animals. But the rumors of Scar's Nobody appearing anytime soon are almost definitely false. In KH3, it's all new Disney worlds- so no Prideslands. And Disney characters only go between worlds on special occasions. And if we do see Scar's Nobody, we might not recognize it. Or- here's an idea- the ghosts you saw in your second Prideslands visit were Scar's powerful Nobody. Scar is just a unique character in Kingdom Hearts, and I think this is actually rather interesting.

Y'all, this game is about the Mark of Mastery Exam for Sora and Riku. I don't even know why any of this stuff is coming back. Riku v.s. Ansem SoD, while Sora is fighting Xemnas? What is this I don't even. I do hate KH1 outfits though.
