Seriously, you're great. Finally, someone gets it.

I point out some of the crazy small things that are actually amazing to my friends and they just look at me like I'm crazy.

Like, one time my friend was showing us a music video on his phone, with the audio playing through his car speakers via bluetooth. And when I sat down and thought about it (the fact that we're watching a series of recorded moments in time being projected through a portable telephone with the sound being projected through FUCKING THIN AIR into my friend's car speakers) it was just crazy to me. Their response were just "...Yeah...that's how smartphones work...".

Life really is amazing though, friend. We are so lucky to be alive in this day and age.

I'll add it to my list. ;v

Thanks bro! That means a lot. And well, I mean, Eren does have some vulnerabilities, like when he wasn't able to turn into a Titan later in the show.

Usagi Drop is on my list, too.

And I think Mikasa acting like that is within reason, because he did save her life after all and he is the only family she has left, as far as she knows. She was powerless in helping her other family members, so it's reasonable to think that she'd defend her only family member with her life.

And yeah, Levi is overwhelmingly powerful, but they don't paint him as invincible nor likable, which is important. If I recall correctly, he did break his ankle while fighting the female titan (although they never mention it again in the series, which kinda sucks).

And yeah, I agree, it was sorta slow in the middle.

I get what you're saying, but I feel like in a sense that this inverse difficulty curve is necessary. That feeling of being powerful and pulling off crazy, devastating combos/spells is what makes the KH series so fun, and to get that early on in the game makes zero sense. So, when you make progress in the game it should feel like it, hence why random encounters feel easier later in the game.

DDD made it so that the random encounters were also hard even later in the game, which has it's own charm to it, but also deterred you from using and experimenting with new commands (Zero Gravity in combination with, let's say, Thunder), in favor of the more reliable ones (like, Balloon and Balloonga). And I even found myself usually just skipping over the random encounters later in the game because for me to even survive them meant that I had to attack, dodge roll, attack, dodge roll until they were gone, which got annoying after a while.

Well, try to use your imagination a bit. I can see that as Xion in the early days with her hood up over her face.

And she could be standing next to Saix because Saix is introducing her to Axel and Roxas.

But yes, it is quite unlikely that she was planned from the start, as hatok has previously stated, but perhaps Nomura just kept that picture as vague as possible so that he could fill in the spaces later. So, who knows? It might really be her, despite how unlikely it is.

But, let's turn on our imaginations for a second, imagine if it REALLY WAS Xion and realize how far in Nomura must've planned the whole KH series. Let's realize how intricate and well thought out the plot would be IF this was true. It would truly be amazing if Nomura really planned EVERYTHING out from KH1 and left more subtle hints (like if that drawing really represented Xion) around the KH universe to foreshadow what was gonna happen in the next game. But alas, this isn't the case. Let's just hope that the next saga will be more well thought out and Nomura drops hints of the next game in the previous game that will leave with those priceless "A-HA!" moments.

Playing through the first few hours/levels of KH games were kind of cumbersome, because you don't have your Cure spell yet. Sure, you can rely on potions (or, God forbid, Donald), but starting out, you usually don't have a lot of munny to spend on a good amount of potions. This made the game challenging, but almost inaccessibly so for a newcomer to the series.

On the other hand, introducing the Cure spell later in the game helps the player hone their skills and not make them rely on a crutch such as Cure.

So, what do you guys think? Should SE introduce Cure earlier in future games, or leave it as is?

What tutorial did you use when modding your PS2? I've been meaning to do som but haven't gotten around to it.[DOUBLEPOST=1391404906][/DOUBLEPOST]
I wasn't claiming it was. Just stating that I didn't need glide to beat KH2 on Proud mode.

Not a big fan of the whole level 1 challenge thing.

I do see the appeal of it -- you know, more of a challenge, bragging rights, a greater sense of fulfillment -- but I'm just not a fan. Maybe one day when I'm bored I'll start a zero exp run in all of the games. Hopefully I won't break my controller out of rage in the process.

I beat the game on Proud without it.

I actually didn't know that you could level up your drive forms to get new abilities when I played the game the first time around.

    Iced coffee, double double.

Although, usually I'd prefer there to be more sugar than milk.

    Ah.

I like bubble milk tea. It's astoundingly good.
