She smiled. "Just making sure. Sometimes, people get carried away and accidents happen. I'll probably try once our job is done. Oh my manners. I'm Sasha Reine. Nice to meet you~"

    ~

Sasha spent a good few hours chatting and hanging out with the group. Turns out they were all part of the envoy to escort the princess. Hey it was a lot more exciting than watching a town all day. As the princess arrived, she bowed towards her. No formalities eh? It was odd since almost everyone had a better tier than her so she was always handing out honorifics after honorifics. Whatever the case...

She frowned and gripped her lance. "Bandits...of all times..." She looked towards the village and then at the mob. It wasn't very large thank goodness, but looks like a large one was around. "Great..looks like a leader is here. Everyone, focus on the mage and fighters! I'll take care of the swordsman since I can take hits from them! We can then go after the leader last!" It felt awkward to say leads, but she knew which enemy to prioritize.

She made her way towards the single myrmidon away from the others, luckily unnoticed of her presence. She charged at it with a preemptive strike with a stab to his leg and raising her shield for any counterattacks.

With the sound of sword clanging, it's not usually a good sign to hear. On the other hand, it's been going on for the last few weeks by random people wanting to spar. Sasha groaned and sat up, looking towards the direction of the sound. "Goddamnit...every time when I try to take a nap. Ugh whatever. I might as well look out." She already had to break up fights in the past due to injuries and stuff. She grabbed her lance and shield and made her way towards the two people fighting.

She watched from the side, examining the two fight. At least it was over sooner than she expected. She too would've liked to spar, but her cumbersome weight made her unworthy for such feat. She would probably just tip over and get stuck. Not to mention putting on the armor was a two person job and she was not going to do that since they have only a few more hours before departure. Instead, she gave them a small applause. "Great fight you two. Think I caught your names, Smooch and Lucia?"

The same routine goes every day for Sasha Seine. Get up, dress up, get her ass out on the roads till dusk, sleep, rinse, then repeat. True the Reine family wasn't well known (not known at all in fact). Being one of the few able to wear a set of armor without collapsing and not complaining (in public) made her a 'worthy' guard. She envied the nobles. Hell, even the workers. At least they had something to do. Not even bandits would come to Greil to steal even a single grain of wheat. Besides shooing away a stray wolf, her job as a guard was very...underwhelming. To the point where she would sometimes take naps every now and then.

Speaking of naps, the black-haired girl laid under a tree a bit of ways from the rest of the people. "Oh man...if only this job didn't suck so much...'Sasha, we must always be prepared for sudden attacks!'" She scoffed and closed her eyes, feeling the wind breeze by, her hair drifting along her face. "At least I get to enjoy this." She stared at the sky, examining the sun's position. "Ugh...great. Only 6 more hours to go before shift."

Personality: Easy going when things are calm and swift and tactical when things are going hard. Sasha knows when it's time to get serious and when it's time to let loose and take a breather. She's a good person to get along with and enjoy. Not very talkative as well unless she has to. Just don't make fun of her tsundre-like attitude. Seriously, don't.

That's a good idea as well.

Hmm...how about buying/selling stuff? Should we have a buying/selling system or should we just have a set weapon and have it upgraded every few battles?

That's actually a very good idea. Using posts as experience is a great way to keep the leveling system in as well as adding much more detail and plot to the RP as well.
Stat wise, we can use common sense to pinpoint which goes where (Mage high INT, warrior high STR, ect).

Something I also would like to mention is the control over battles. These types of RPs make it hard not to god-mod or power-play. It'll be difficult whether you took over the maximum amount of damage. Maybe for every day of no posting, you take a set amount of damage based on your class and who you are fighting and it's even more punishing for bosses and strong enemies.

I REALLY hope they do make a 4th season. It ended kinda in a rough area. Not to mention in the Manga, lots of stuff is going about.

Looking at previous RPs, I'll speak on my opinion about this situation.

I would LOVE a Fire Emblem RP. It's a great series with very little limelight and overshadowed by other RPGs. However, it's glaringly obvious that FE is avoided due to interpreting the combat mechanics into the RP.

In my opinion, if you were to make a Fire Emblem RP, it should be more story/conversation based. Having all the combat mechanics and all of that is a double-edged sword. If you're really good at it, it can be an amazing experience. However, having flaws in it can lead to a frustrating experience. I joined an RP with all the stats/combat in it once and it took a whole month to fight the 2nd boss. It was frustrating when people took days to respond and/or people dropped during such fights.

I would say having a mix of both, but it's very taxing on the creator (you in this case) to flesh out a story AND keep track of all the stats/levels/ect. on every person. I enjoy Fire Emblem both for its story and battles, but when it comes down to RPs, I would rather focus on story and character development than battles. It's just a major hassle to keep track of everything not to mention frustrating and torn when that person decides to leave the RP with all that work gone in the bin.

    Hopefully not xD

I got Elise free because I got Gold in S3. She's fun to use, but I wouldn't main her @_@

ARAM is a broken game mode. It only takes a few champs to make a game made very frustrating =3=

    More liek Costume Simulator 2013

All seriousness though, I played the demo and I thoroughly enjoyed the combat mechanics of XIII. I originally criticized the game for being more of a "fanservice" FF game than anything else, but I realized how much the costumes are focused on in the game as they are used more for combat than visual appearance (both is nice doe). It's really nice how each costume matches the theme and the movesets of each one. Being a mix of a hack-n-slash and classic RPG fighting, I'm enjoying the game much more. Cannot wait for the game once it launches in February.

My memory is quite fuzzy, but I believe I have learned of the term "RPG" when I first got Dragon Quest (have no memory what number it was) for the Game Boy Color. I believe I talked about it with my friends and they mentioned it as an RPG game.

By history thought, I believe RPG was first mentioned on tabletop types of games like D&D.

For those who watched the TV series, "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", a wonderful and loving member of that series has passed on December 31, 2013. James Avery, the man who played as Uncle Phil, died due to complications on his open-heart surgery. It saddens me deeply that a great man like James has passed. He played an amazing role as a father and uncle of that show. He holds a special place in my heart. Rest in peace. You shall be missed dearly.

A new Tales game? GIBE NAO

Ooh boy I cannot wait for this! My thirst for JRPGs is always on a high (can't play Ys: MoC yet :c). Tales games never cease to disappoint me (well...except one of them...). I'm expecting either a late 2014/early 2015 release date for this game!

Elanor Parker, most well known for her main part in "The Sound of Music," has died today from pneumonia at the age of 91.

An amazing actress. Her role in "The Sound of Music" as well as other works was superb. I really enjoyed her roles in those movies and TV shows. Bless her soul and may she rest in peace.

Aww I was so stoked for a sequel to the 2013 version of Tomb Raider. Then again, it's a tad too soon to already be announcing a sequel.

My brother already owns this on the PC and I finished it already so I probably will skip this (especially if it's $60).

Aww yea just noticed that too. Man even with some major media outlets over this, I thought there was going to be SOME portion of truth to this. Bleh, guess I leaned my lesson.
