    Username: Prince_of_Hearts
    Full Name: Sasha Kira
    Age/Appearance: 21 (She's better clothed then that =3=)
Background/Personality: Somewhat of a strange woman. One second, she's having a friendly, humorous chat with a random person, the next second, she's a cold-eyed killer, mowing down the Scares with little difficulty. She travels a lot, but also stays if the company is nice and/or if a place needs the help to fend off the attacks. She's an extremely friendly person, but knows when to shoot a cold glare at one's direction. Don't get on her bad side. Her bite is worse than her bark.

She was on her own, separated from her mother and younger sister while on a trip halfway across the world to meet up with some of her contacts when her return trip was no longer possible. She hoped that she could find them once more and rejoin. The last was that they were evacuated to an underground bunker when a sudden attack broke their defenses. She hoped that she would reach that destination once it was the appropriate time.
    Weapons:
    A fancy assault rifle
    Two Bladed Revolvers
    Handy Combat Knife
    A Katana
Special Wristband that gives statistics and a small alert system (about 15 feet)
Other: Wears a charm with a small picture of Sasha and her family

I bought my PS4 at launch and I'm regretting it somewhat. Sure I enjoyed the few games that came out such as Infamous: SS, Resogun, Mercenary Kings, and others, but it really wasn't worth it. I kinda bought it on instinct because I knew how fast the PS4 was being sold out in many places. I knew if I didn't buy the PS4, I wouldn't be able to buy it until a few months in 2014. Mostly, I bought it for Watchdogs and the RPGs coming out later in the years like FF XV and KH3.

Right now though, I would wait till E3. At the very least, until May when the good games are coming out such as Watchdogs or Trasnsistor.

At PAX East 14, an editor played the game and told his experiences with the game.

    http://www.sidequesting.com/2014/04/pax-east-14-this-war-of-mine-took-an-emotional-toll-on-me/

Based on what he experienced, we know things about the game:

    • A point and click game similar to The Walking Dead (not the icky FPS)
    • "There is no wrong or right or morale choice in the game."
    • Set on a more emotional scale
    • Game length is random
    • Trading is a big part in the game
    • People in your group can leave or die based on events
Hopefully we hear more about this at E3. So far, I'm very excited with all the features this game has based on what the editor experienced.

Wow this game looks awesome! Has a pretty original story and the Co-op looks very fun to play. The customization is still kinda uncertain as to how much you can modify the protagonist. Though besides Conception II, this may be another Vita game to put on my list.

A little warning before I start. This may include NSFW content depending on people's views. So underage people may want to keep away from this thread. If pictures are used, please use spoiler tags to prevent accidentally traumatizing people. Also, put warnings next to your topics as words can be TMI for some people.

I would say title says all, but there are a lot of people who tend to group scares and disturbances in the same group. I think it's both true and false. They both put a tick inside of us. However, one is more instant and shocking while the other is a lingering feeling. Let me explain:

Scare: Ghost that pops up in front of you, sharp and sudden sound, MOTHA EFFIN SPIDERS, ect
    Disturbance: Darkness, creepy laughter, ect

Kinda see the differences? I know someone made a thread talking about fear/scares, but I dunno. I find this in the same category, but on a different level (well unless you're a mod. Feel free to merge this or somethin. I ain't gonna argue with dat :c). If that's not the case, then see it as a scare that doesn't incite a reaction at first, but it makes your insides cringe more and more the longer you're in the vicinity of that.

So the question is what disturbs you? Something as simple as the dark? Or something far more specific and sinister?

Please do not feel obligated to answer if it's something personal. I don't wanna push you out of your comfort zone to share your views on this.

    Random Sounds when Home Alone-

When I'm alone in my home and the house makes random sounds like my rice cooker going off or random creaks, it makes me jump in my seat. Maybe because I've been watching too many horror games about murders and monsters inside a person's home and trying to kill them which involves the victim running around and finding a hiding place. It does lead sometimes lead to my next two more extreme cases, but usually, it's nothing more than a jump and then a paranoiac feeling.

    Soulless/Bloody-Empty Eyes (Graphic warning?)-

These just chill me to the core. People with completely colored eyes (Completely black or white) staring right at me. It just freezes my insides badly. It's not too bad seeing them nowdays, but they still make me cringe a bit. The worse latter on this list are people with no eyes at all. Instead, they have those empty pits with blood running down them. My god those just make me wanna curl up in a corner and cry. The best example of this would be the video game The Witch's House. I couldn't sleep for days after what I experienced.

    Extreme Gore/Violent Injuries (Graphic warning)-

This isn't disturbing itself, but the concept is. It doesn't really hit me when it comes to video games, movies, anime, ect, but when seeing it in real life pictures, it makes me sick. Very sick. This applies to both animals and human beings. If it's due to objects such as large knives, chainsaws, or other objects meant for cutting, then it's not too bad, but when it's a brutal violent actions such as wild animals attacking or heavy blunt objects, it makes the scene far worse mostly because all the damage is not cleanly made so it's just...everywhere. I've seen images (thanks Facebook you scrub) of all sorts and it doesn't matter how big or small the scale it is. Every one of them horrify me and make me sick for long periods of time. Earlier, I stated that it's the concept hat disturbs me. What does that mean? I hate it, but I imagine someone close to me in that situation which makes me clench up in even higher points of fear.

Ehh I'm not too sure how to feel about this game. I don't think the Borderlands series really need a prequel/sequel at the moment. I mean, we already got the Telltale game coming out, but at least that game takes it one a different level which made people a little more interested. This looks mostly more of the same, knowing it's gonna be on previous gen consoles. If anything, this could've been an expansion or a large length DLC to Borderlands 2. It radiates the same feeling when Saints Row 4 came out.

Oh man is that pretty. But golly how much money is needed to build a beast of a PC to run it that beautifully.

Aww sadly I'm not going to pick up the game at all. I already played it once on the PS3. Maybe one day when I have the urge to go back and reimmerse myself in the game, I'll pick it up on the PS4. Though that's very doubtful because TLOU is a game where every moment is unforgettable

I don't know. If you asked me now, then it's a straight up no. Later though, it could change. Now, I'm living happily and comfortably. Maybe a few years back, I would've taken the offer. Possibly years down the road, but for now, I have too much things I care about to leave.

I'm pretty damn old on this site. I left without saying a word around 2009ish. Every now and then, I would somehow take a quick glance on this site and just take a few minutes of the memories before I moved onto another page. I dunno.

I left because...I felt really lonely on this site. My friends (which was like 2 or three) left off in their lives. I just hung around, commenting here and there and realizing it was pointless as I couldn't make any connections to anyone (not to mention lots of stuff happened ion my life so I was feeling very wooshy around this time) and disappeared, knowing there was no one to say goodbye to (wahh sorry for the sad depressing stuff :c)

I came back around 2013 for some odd reason. I don't know. Maybe it was since KH3 was announced and I wanted to see the reactions? Maybe the RP Arena called me back since I loved to RP? Whatever the reason I was given a warm welcome (well no one really knew me so I felt like a new mem and suff) and decided to start over again, making my name here. As of now, absolutely nothing changed but I hope to change that soon! xD

It depends for me. Sometimes, I'm in the mood to fight a long string of bosses one after another. Another time, I want those special, intense boss fights that come every now and then. And you are right Sara. In inFamous: SS, the boss fights are far and few, but very intense (not very mind-screwy though)

I wouldn't say those that have a lot of boss battles require little strategy. I mean, take a look at Dark Souls/2. I don't think anyone would disagree that with a sheer amount of bosses, they require no skill to beat. It just comes down to the developer and/or the player themselves.

I'm not a vegetarian, but at the same time, I don't tend to eat a lot of meat. Probably because how I was raised. I was told to eat meat with very little chunks of fat and not salty which was the majority of the meat sold here in America. Don't get me wrong. I like eating meat, but in those conditions.

Why? What's wrong with eating meat? It's delicious and great in sources of vitamins and protein. I also tend to have a somewhat negative look on vegetarians (not you guys. You're all awesome c; ) mostly because all the ones I bumped into are VERY picky in their foods, complain a lot when the school/area doesn't sell vegetarian friendly food, and always talk smack about those eating meat.

I haven't cried in video games, but one was VERY close. It was very close to breaking me down.

    To The Moon

Poor Johnny. River's condition, death of his brother, removal of River in Johnny's childhood. Last, but not least, the last scene as they held hands before it flatlined. Oh god how hard I held back trying not to curl up and cry a lake.

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/18/gdc-this-war-of-mine-might-be-the-war-game-we-need

At GDC, IGN interviewed the Senior Writer at 11 Bit and got to play a bit of the game.

What really intrigues my is that the whole set is randomized. Items, characters, and others. Seeing this as a story-heavy game, randomization is not something one should be aiming for. Then again, they did talk a lot about the game Papers, Please that revolved also on a similar topic and playstyle. Perhaps only key elements would be fixed while everything else is random?

You know, if they didn't release the OTHER OP 3DS game, I might have JUST gone all ballz-to-the-wallz with this game. However, it had and I've been in this state too long where I overhype myself to a game to the point when I actually get the game, I got less than what I was expected. Yes I am interested. No, this will not be a guarantee get for me unless I'm assured of the content in the game.

    SOPA 2014

You can't censor the internet. IT NEVER WILL.

It's become so integrated in our lives that it'll get shot down before it can even get a stand on. Unless they want a total collapse of the country, they better stop what they'e doing before it gets ugly.
