    Try to get the knife

Alright, you think to yourself, this is going to be a bit awkward . . . You scoot back so that your back is completely touching the bed board and you're practically right next to the nightstand. Trying not to strain your left wrist too much, you slowly and carefully twist your body to the rig-haiiiii-ouch. Any kind of movement against your bonds hurts like hell. Your left wrist will be faulty for the next three turns. Your left hand is now useless.

It's a good thing you're not restrained by your legs or ankles. You bend up your right knee so that it's pretty much right next to your head. Okay, you're going to try twisting just once more. Slowly now . . . Holy crap, it seriously hurts, this is ridiculous - but luckily, you twist just enough (ow, ow, ow) to have your foot reach the folded-up knife. Carefully, before you drop the damn thing, you pluck it up in between your toes and bring it back to the bed where it now lays in front of you. Time to get out of these restraints.

Still completely naked, you use both of your feet to get the knife open, which proves to be no easy task. You hear a click and your face lights up, you quickly look at the knife and - wait a moment. That's not a knife - it's . . . well, you don't know what it is, but it seems to have some sort of timer on it. This time, you hear a beep - you just started the timer. The small but blaring red numbers show one hour. One hour for what? Sighing, you slump your head against the bed board. Damn trick-knife.

    The Angel

I read this creepypasta years ago.

I have to admit, it was pretty nerve-wracking. I just don't like the . . . other association with it.

    Observe the room

You look around slowly, still a little . . . taken aback that you're completely naked. Everything around you seems normal enough, there's a vanity set across the way, a nightstand next to you with a few things on it such as a bottle of pills, what looks like a folded up knife, and a cupcake. Man, that cupcake looks good, it's a little bit big, you note to yourself, but more to eat once you get out of this issue. You can't really remember anything that happened last night, so you have a sneaking suspicion that maybe the pills had something to do with it.

In the corner of the room, you spot a chair with folded up clothes, perhaps they're yours? Anything to cover you up would be nice at this point. There's a window and it seems to be dawning in just a few minutes, so you think that maybe you've been here overnight. Man, you really hope that you didn't get yourself into anything too sticky. Diagonal from you is a door.

Oh, you just remembered, you're quite flexible, just not extremely.

Family Member/Title : The Symphonious Nimbus

Personality : How does one even begin to collect all of the detail of their person? I look to others to find out . . . I'm a generally kind person, and have been described as many things, called many things, most of them uncouth, but few names unearned. I guess you could say I'm "empathetic until further notice", at which time further notice has my personality taking a completely different turn for your worst nightmare. Other than that, I'm actually a very emotionally-inclined person, rather too in touch with my feels. (I'm also clinically bipolar.)

Literary Arts Specialty : Fantasy writing, for sure. I like to think that if I'm given just some random name, I can think of a whole novel to support that character, all of their quirks, their life, and the like. I'm especially good at making my own characters, not so much the naming of them. I like words, they're lots of fun, making fun with words, who doesn't like that? I lean more towards Prose than poetry, and am very good at imagery and immersing, or so I'd like to think.

Anything else you'd like to share? : If you give me a Dr Pepper, an orange, or potatoes, I'm literally your best friend forever.

And you're tied to a bed. You're mind is pretty foggy at the moment and you have no idea what's going on. Now would be a good time to rub the sleep out of your eyes, you reach for your face. Ow, that was your wrists - wait, what the hell? You realized you're bound to the bed by your wrists. Now, you're completely awake.

    You're also completely nude.

Okay, look, it's not like a I meant to come here that one night, it was just . . . well, I was trying to stay away from Facebook in that horrid state, and so I saw the KHV link, and the rest - well, yeah.

I didn't specifically mention you, but lots of newer members have been doing that, to welcome other new members, and so I thought I would point it out.

I had gotten chided for this when I was a new member too, by a member of staff.

Not to be . . . like a stickler or anything, but I would like to point out that when welcoming new members, you should have substance to your post, and not just do it to earn one for your post count. It's annoying to see that.

Anyway, welcome to KHV. I guess you already know Shy, and I've heard that Shy knows Kelly, so maybe you know Kelly too. Anyway, if you haven't already, you should read The Rules, and if you have any questions after that, you can ask the people whose names are colored like
this, this, this, this, or this. I suppose you could ask these people too, but they're only Prem members, not members of staff. We have a lot of other UK members here as well, so I hope that you make friends. I find it funny, though, how you put 'y'all', seeing as that's commonly said by people of the South United States, like myself.

Hope you have a good stay with us.

I do greatly apologize for what I'm about to do, but it's always going to bother me.

Usually, people misspell it as 'defiantly', as in "I'm going to act defiantly towards you.", but you spelled it 'definally', as if, um, can that be used as a real word? Erm . . .

    Anyway: *definitely
