Although using friends as shields is funny on the interwebz, it is not a safe defense tecnique in real life.

I can safely attest to this. If only my friend could...

Lawl... perhaps I'll have dear Jacob find a stray cat. And its name, t'will be Winston.

School. I don't mind it. Usually. Anyway, come on back here when you're done, I should have a cat by then. The cat's name, t'will be Winston.

    Also, Garxena-

Jacob fixed his bag onto his shoulder. He was going now. To the library. He was going to skip his classes. He was incredibly excited, but nervous as well. He coughed and brushed the hair out of eyes. He was doing this. Nobody would see... right? He strode uncomfortably out of the room and turned the corner. He continued to tell himself he would save the school... of course, he didn't know whether it was a prank or not... yet.

I'm mad at myself for not posting soon enough to say, "OMG spaz awesome." Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I can offer some criticism. Entirely constructive, I'm sure.
    I believe you mean drool.

I can't find any other spelling or grammatical mistakes, although the way things are worded is a bit strange...
First of all, what Plums said. Things like that show up throughout the story, although rarely.
Secondly, this is a strange thing I have- as the story usually seems to be from a realistic point of view, like the narrator is watching it instead of hearing about it, the copious use of "female and male" instead of "boy or girl" seems a bit unnatural. It far from changes my opinion of the story, and maybe this was on purpose, but it's just a little pet peeve.

I've covered all I can think of.
It's really awesome. Keep it up, can't wait to see more.

    (Jacob is super crazy epic)

OOC: Not sure when classes start, so I decided to address Jacob's classes- and the one's he'll be skipping today.

Jacob pulled out his schedule. He scanned the first couple classes... he only had to skip a few in order to research in peace.
    The list read:

    First: Herbology
    Second: Divination (ugh)
Third: Defense Against The Dark Arts
    Fourth: History of Magic
    Fifth: Potions
    Sixth: Muggle Studies

He crossed his arms and bit his lips. He loved Herbology but hated Divination... He loved DADA but hated History of Magic... there were no two classes close enough together to skip as well as fit his schedule. He sighed. Everything was going wrong for him lately... last night... today... he slumped his head. Blowing the hair out of his eyes, he straightened his back and clenched his fists. "I can do this. Don't have to worry about anything." He straightened his arms and placed a check next to Defense Against the Dark Arts and History of Magic. He'd take those two classes off in order to research the Chamber of Secrets. Maybe he'd save the school... maybe he'd be a hero. He grinned and clenched his fists. "Things are going my way."

    1. Fans give her money.

    2. Same.

    3. Go to a health foods, look for some crazy-ass root, and take it with you everywhere. Ah, memories.

    4. As would I. If a new Potter book comes out, I'll buy it at opening, and read it in a day. I'll re-read it twice in the next week. That's not to say I support the production of another book. If it exists, I'll buy it. But as Luna Lovegood said, the ending was so openended, that it seemed like you could play out all the different endings with yourself. Another book would kinda take the freedom away.

Anyway, I'm tired of posting in a thread where I have to be all serious, so I may be getting kind of delerious.

They can afford not to- they're rich. They just want more money.

For me, I think that continuing the series would be overselling it. Milking it dry.

I love the series, it's great, brilliant. I've read the spin-offs, and seen all the movies. And when they're all done, I can safely say, Hogwarts should get a break. It's not going to be forgotten. It's considered a classic. A modern classic, admittedly, but still. In the future, it'll be at least remembered. Maybe not read or watched daily, but people will most likely remember it.

@Supermassive Black Hole, Yeah, maybe... I still think that it should be a while, at least.

I sorely disagree. Harry Potter is a much better, and better know for it, series.
If they make a new series, I'd actually be rather ticked off at J.K.
I'll enjoy the occasional spin-off book, but please, keep it where it is.

This isn't the same type of series as Percy Jackson.
