♪The Shadow of the Circus, Night Cross♪

Night listened to Sky's suggestion as she crossed her arms. "We cannot do that...Amaya and Victor will...surely check up on us. I mean...to make sure we are getting our rest." she replied. The ringmasters have given them something they called a curfew. The performers had two hours to themselves after the show was over before they needed to head back to their tents and get some sleep. They were very strict about this one rule too. "If we...take her back with us...it's more than likely that...she will get caught there instead" Night added, as she moved her gaze towards the ground. Thinking this, they were better off keeping her out here and using what was left of their 'free time' to wait for her to wake up. Especially since it seemed the scream hadn't attracted Victor or Amaya's attention.

To say she was surprised when someone from the audience had decided to sneak back to the circus was an...over-statement. Night wasn't really expecting someone to try and get a peek at them, but it was a little surprising. The stranger had given themselve's away by stepping on a twig, this caused all four of them to look in the general direction of the noise. Ella had moved the bushes out of the way, revealing a girl. Holden then decided to ask his own question before continuing on and vanishing from sight before reappearing behind the stranger. The girl screamed as though her life were in danger before passing out. Realizing how loud the scream was, it was a miracle when Victor nor Amaya had shown up to investigate. It was sorta strange.

Night overheard Holden's question about him scaring the girl too badly and she shook her head in response. She crossed her arms over her chest as she thought of the right things to say to him so that she wouldn't make him feel guilty about her fainting. "It was...not your fault. I am guessing that...she was not expecting to...get caught. And when she did....she was just...surprised is all" she managed out in the best way that she could.

Ever heard of this game called Space Channel 5?
Well, everyone knows of Dance Dance Revolution. But what about those who haven't even heard of Space Channel 5? It's like DDR, but highly different. Here's information on it (I typed all this up. I didn't copy it. I have the Remake for PS2)

Well, it was made from Sega, the same people that made Sonic the Hedgehog, along with Agetec and THQ (who made it for the gameboy). It was made for the Sega DreamCast and remade for the Playstation 2 and Gameboy Advance. It's a music and dance game like Dance Dance Revolution, but it shouldn't be played with the DDR mat. (It can, but I highly suggest you don't try it) And it also has a story behind it, unlike DDR where it's just pointless dancing.
The PS2 game comes as a Special Edition where you get the first copy of the game which is an orange colored disc with just plain Space Channel 5, along with a white disc of Space Channel 5 Special Edition (more than likely, the second installment of the previous game)

You play as the sexy 22 year old reporter, Ulala. The famous and stylish reporter for, you guessed it, Space Channel 5 (it's like FOX 5 of the future XD)
With her pink hair, stylish, and futuristic fashion and her trusty blue microphone, that she painted without permission, she goes around the galaxies getting the best scoops for their viewers. However, everything is not as easy as it seems. Aliens who call themselves the Morolians, have forced people to dance using some sort of ray-gun. Ulala gets sent in by her boss, Fuse (Who is only heard and never seen throughout both games), to get the story while saving the hostages and beating the Morolians. All while fending off other rival reporters such as Pudding and Jaguar. Ulala has two guns along with her. The Chu beam in which she uses on the aliens, and the Rescue beam which is used to save the hostages. In the end, it is found out that the Morolians were the ones being brainwashed by the boss of the whole Space Channel 5 company, Mr. Blank. Now saving the aliens using the Deluxe Chu Beam and more hostages, including Space Micheal (Who is Micheal Jackson) Ulala, Pudding and Jaguar (who are now working together to take down Mr. Blank) chase after Blank. Once they have him cornered, it is discovered that Blank has made a robotic copy of Ulala, Evilla. She was to be used to stop spreading the real news, the truth, and destroy Ulala through Dance.
Ulala wins and Evilla short circuts. However (again) Blank has also made a Giant Evilla, who has taken Fuse has a hostage. This is where everything gets difficult because, for Ulala to save Fuse, she has to shoot in reverse. If Evilla says Left, Ulala has to go right, or else she'll end up shooting Fuse's ship instead. Pudding and Jaguar are here to help, but seeing them as troublesom, Giant Evilla quickly gets rid of them and this just leaves Ulala to defend for herself. Ulala depends on the beat of the music to defeat the robot. But then everything gets quiet, there is no music and now Evilla is at an advantage. The robot takes this opportunity to blast Ulala into space, but she is soon saved by Jaguar and the battle starts again, only this time, Ulala wins. Soon the head of the Giant Evilla comes off and turns into a TV screen with Blanks face on it, who has revealed his master plan, to rid the world of News Stations that state only the truth. "The masses don't need to know the truth! All that matters is the ratings" were his words before activating the Blank Dimension where there are 5 floating, futuristic Televisions. Ulala has to fight Blank on her own by using the Chu beam on TV's that have Blank's faces on them all while using the Rescue beam to shoot at the TV's that have her face on them.
Blank then uses the 5 TV's (and a few extra) to make a body with his face on a screen as the head. The battle continues, and Ulala has friends (the whole galaxy) outside the Blank Dimension to help her and dance along. Blank is soon defeated and Ulala and him are released from the Blank Dimension. Everyone yells 'CHU' three times and a beam from the Space Channel 5's Sattelite shoots at Blanks TV Body and he's defeated, lost in the rest of the universe and no longer the boss of Space Channel 5. (I think after this Fuse runs the whole station) Everything is right with the Universe as everyone dances to the ends of the galaxy.

This is just the First Disc of Space Channel 5. There's more on the second disc and a totally different story. But first...tell me what you think of this game so far?
Would you rather play this instead of Dance Dance Revolution? Or would you like to have both? I, on the other hand, have both DDR and Space Channel 5, but I play SC5 more than DDR.
What are your thoughts about this game?

♫The Twisted Minded Ringmaster, Amaya Tsukiko♫

Amaya sighed quietly as she watched Victor leave the tent. Oh, well. At least he complimented their performances...in his own special way of course. She then turned her attention to the others while crossing her arms "Besides the damage that was done, it was a good first performance. Considering this was our first time acting in front of the public. Everyone did well" she reassured then before turning her gaze towards Flandre, who's powers were temporarly 'shut down' thanks to Victor "As for you, Flandre...just because you suggested that the others fix the tent up, it was still your fault for destroying it in the first place. You're going to have to ask them and see what they think first before calling out their names. Ether way, you are helping if they do agree." Amaya added.
With that being said, she turned away from the performers "You six are dismissed. You may do what you want, but do not stray far. We all know what'll happen then" she told them in a slightly darker tone. Although, she knew they couldn't wander far from the tent. It was impossible for them to escape. They were lucky that she and Victor had even considered letting them walk about instead of keeping them inside cages like the...'monsters' they really were.

Night watched as their ringmasters left the backstage to let them do what they wished. She was glad to hear that they approved of their performances...she was worried that they might've done something wrong. Seeing as how they lost some members of the audience. But maybe they saw that as a good thing. Brushing her dark lavander colored hair out of her eyes, she over-heared Flandre's words towards their more strict ringmaster and couldn't help but laugh just a little as she stormed out the tent. Night then noticed that Holden was heading out to get some air. That sounded good right now instead of being stuck in their 'rooming' tents. Basically, it was just the tents that they slept in after the shows were over.

Getting up from where she was seated, she made her way over to Holden "I will join you. If...that is okay...with you" she said, while waving her hand slightly, causing her shadow to cover her upper body as it changed shape to cover her like a leather jacket. Most would think that the shadows and darkness was cold and unforgiving, but since she was the one to control the element, the cold actually warmed her up just a little
