Yeah, I guess so. I never really got anything out of Gantz. Probably because I marathoned most of it in one shot just to please one of my friends who was a big fan. But in the end it just feels pretty weak character wise for a seinen. Anyhow, you're more right than not so you got that one. Shingeki, I should say has a lot of violence in it for the sake of violence in addition to the world that they've got going. Like many specific events could be overlooked, cut or just ignored. So yeah, I like it mostly because of the characters and the general world. The themes aren't exactly compelling. So yeah, I just wasn't really putting much thought in I guess. Come to think of it, the last time I discussed a show at all was when I argued with you for like a day about Korra. I must be getting rusty.
The point of it is the violence, not unlike Shingeki or Gantz or Zetman. They're all in the *****stearingshitapart subgenre. Yeah, that's why I'd rec something to replace it for them.
No seriously, this series is not as good as any of these people say. I like it and I wouldn't rec it unless I knew you were looking for a new Gantz to follow.
