A tiny font for a tiny voice, unless she is singing, or so I've been told.

I had figured about the first fact, and had known the third one. I'm surprised over the others though, I hadn't known castrating young boys would keep their voices from changing through puberty. How interesting . . .

    Radio Suggestion:
Adding KHV Chorus Songs to the Radio!

So, I had told Makaze that I was listening to the KHV Chorus songs today and he said that they should be a part of the slew of songs that plays on the radio. It would be a proper thing, seeing as the songs are made by the members of the KHV community, buying credit lost from it not being Square Enix music.

I'm sure that many other members would +1 this idea as well, but some others who prefer not to hear the (in some others' opinions) not so fantastical singing voices might not be so wholly supportive. It doesn't have to be song after song, maybe one here, another five to ten songs later, no big deal. Not to mention there's a plentiful surplus of songs so that they won't be repeated so many times.

I don't see why it wouldn't work out, unless the availability of the mp3s is a set back, but a simple video converter, FLV to mp3, ought to do the job.

Haven't we talked about this before? I think you're the most like Saix; sly, manipulating, ambitious (a little).

As for myself, I honestly can't say which Organization member I'm most like. Perhaps a mix of a few? I'm not sure how mixing Xigbar, Roxas, and Axel works out lol.

【OOC: Sorry I didn't make the first post, I just didn't want to have an auto-merged double! Also, long post is reaaaaally long】
I sat in the living room train car, it being empty besides myself. It was a little ironic, I thought to myself, that one of the nicest places I was ever going to see in my life would be the one that was carrying me to my death at two hundred miles and hour. I recalled the events of the reaping . . . I had been nervous that I would be chosen, but in my deeper thoughts, I honestly didn't think it would be me, my name in numerous times of course, they were foolish thoughts. When I had turned twelve, I knew that I would be in an ever silent struggle against being selected as Tribute, and when I had aged, every year was the same - I hadn't been picked. Being seventeen, I had thought my serenity would last, and I only had one more year, before I became involved in the fishing industry, just as my own mother and father before me.

"I should have easily known better." I told no one in particular, there being no one else in the room.

I believe that one of the worsts parts about being selected was the very cruel slew of visitors I had received the hour before I came aboard this train. Little boys and girls, elders, and other adults that I shared a mutual respect with, surely because of my parents, had come to see me off. Each Tribute, as I understood, were allowed one token from their District. The children that I had been teaching brought me mine: a knotted necklace made of fishing net material with wooden beads woven into the complex ties. I could nearly not contain my emotions at their innocent kindness, and they certainly couldn't, telling me how much I would be missed. It was painful.

I had not spoken a word to the male Tribute who had been chosen along side me. The most contact I had with him was the shaking of our hands in front of all of our family and friends. When we boarded the train, he was, for the most part, at the back of my thoughts, and nearly dead to me. I felt sorrow for him, but he would soon be my enemy, I could not risk gaining feelings for any of these other teenagers.

I am a survivor, and I will not go down without a fight.

I didn't talk to neither my Mentor nor my fellow tribute, I just couldn't bring myself to talk to anyone, to do anything. I honestly couldn't believe I was the one on this train, but . . . better me than Shane. Our mom would be grateful to me about this whole ordeal, but I just couldn't bring myself to recognize that. It was now a guarantee that I was going to die. I wasn't going to survive the Games, it was a one in twenty four chance that I would live, a less than 1% chance that I would be the one to come out of that arena.

I had thought about comforting my female partner, but I knew getting close to anyone would be a mistake and it would be harder to kill them. Unfortunately, I was so lonely now. I couldn't help but think of my dad and Shane back home. I knew that they would take care of each other, but it felt like Shane would be lost without me, even if dad was there. I knew dad wouldn't let me down though. I just hoped that nothing bad would happen to them now that I was involved in the Games. District XI . . . I had been the second person to ever volunteer.

As I arose from my chair, which was really very comfortable and nice just like the rest of this glorious train, I looked out the window, seeing the scenery zip by as if speed were nothing. "I just . . . hope that they will remember me."

Quietly, I sat in the Bar car of the train, the one I had come on every year since I became a Mentor, after winning my own Hunger Games. Going back to the Capitol, just as I do every year, to watch my two kids die. They might as well be my kids. I take care of them, give them advice, in hopes that maybe one of them will survive, but they never do, not since I became Mentor. This year . . . maybe this year . . .

But Arkadi, god, I can't believe she was chosen. What am I supposed to do now? The thing about it is, I don't want to not treat both of my Tributes equally, I don't want to favor one or the other, they both deserve to live . . . I can only keep one of them alive, why shouldn't I choose her? She's my goddaughter, but the boy, Kai, he deserves to live. I believe that is the worst part about all of this.

I inhale my cigarette again. Smoking. It helps me relieve the stress I've felt ever since I returned home from the Capitol a victor. On my Victory Tour, I had them have me an almost infinite supply as I was going through ten to twenty a day. I've kept it moderate, especially in front of Arkadi. She doesn't like smoking, and doesn't want me to continue, but I just can't let it go. I still wake up at night screaming, remembering my own horrors from those weeks in those ancient ruins. The Games are . . . just a cruel act by the Capitol so that they may maintain their power over the scared people of Panem. It's sick. And Arkadi . . . if she dies, if Kai dies . . . More like when they die . . . It will be my fault.

    And the nightmares will continue.

"I should probably go talk to them."

Nix had listened to the white-haired student's story. He made it sound as if group projects were the end of the world for whatever students were participating in them, and then even went as far as to insult his temper, and the little shrimp's temper. He was indeed used to being on a short fuse, but losing it here would only prove the jockstrap right. Of course Nix knew the repercussions of failing, of missing any details, he wasn't stupid. He would not be the one to start the fire, never, only make it grow.

What he did find a little insulting was that the N-Class had placed Nix himself on the fiery level as Frida, the little rebel who would pick a fight with anyone. Nix could get along with anyone, but the little shrimp was just too fun to tease; he could set her at ease very well, if he were kind enough to her. And then he goes and insults Alice, of all people, speaking to her as if Nix and Frida were dogs.

But keeping his cool, Nix rolled his eyes, "I'm sure she's more than capable," he said with an abnormal calmness, one which he wasn't used to, "But thank you, jockstrap, for . . . caring so much." He then turned to Alice and Frida, who he knew would lose it soon enough, being on an even shorter fuse than himself, "Alright you two, if we want to have this project done by the end of the day so as to perform it, we better get onto work." he explained to the both of them with a smile that he hoped would sooth the both of their (more than likely) fragile feelings, "I'll be returning to my practice room so that I can compose a new piece. I assure you that it'll do just what you want it to do," he told Alice, and then putting his hand on her shoulder, he smiled again, "This is risky business we're getting into, but we'll get through it together. Great idea, by the way."

After his words, he turned on his heel and began heading to one of the practice rooms, and passing the white-haired student, he mad a low comment, "Thanks for the advice, Aiden. I'm sure we'll be alright." Because honestly, he did know his name, and he didn't like stirring bad blood, he had just been a little worried over the reactions of the two girls. He thought back to earlier, putting his hands into his pockets, about the reactions of the students when he played his music. A lot of them, as he had expected were just sheep reactions, going with the crowd, thinking that the music was beautiful and that was all. There was one person, he distinctly remembered though: Anya Kurse.

It wasn't abnormal to have strange-colored eyes, but not many of the students did. Out of them, only a few, a handful, let it bother them when people commented on them. Nix, oddly enough, was one of them, and so was Anya, as he had come to understand. He had never personally talked to her, but they had a sort of mutual agreement to respect each other. She didn't bother him and the same went for her.

Shutting the world off behind him, Nix closed the door, picked up his white cello, and began playing the voices of revolt.

Brave was an absolutely wonderful movie! I wouldn't listen to a thing those critics say, I'm not sure why people do. It's a very warm and heartfelt movie, and the characters are humorous and the story is, well, magical. I was completely taken by surprise by what happens in the movie, and I think I even cried at then it.

I think that you should definitely watch it, and you won't regret it.
