Sora turned his head at the sound, his eyes wide when he realized what had just happened. However, his eyes became even larger when he saw what occurred next. Namine felt tears appear in her eyes, her cheek stinging from the impact. Ouch! she thought, instinctively bringing a hand to the cheek. That hurt even more than the first one. Jeff set his hand upon the one on Namine's cheek and turned her face towards him as he did something even more startling to the blond girl and to whoever was watching--He leaned down and kissed her, shutting his eyes when he performed the action.

Namine's eyes widened when she felt a pair of hands grab her and turn her to face the side. The hands stayed on her shoulders, but they weren't the gentle pair that she had grown accustomed to. Her eyes wandered upward and she saw a pair of eyes she'd recognize any day. "Jeff...?" she whispered, her eyes showing some fright and confusion. Jeff nodded slightly and took a hand off her shoulder. Then, in a completely unpredictable move, he pulled back his hand and slapped her hard across the face, making the girl turn her head due to the impact. But he wasn't finished yet, and his friends watching from the path surely understood that.

Jeff stopped halfway, suddenly thinking of Namine's protective boyfriend. He searched the area with his eyes, but fortunately for him, there was no sign of Roxas. He heard his friends snickering behind him and he turned to give them a harsh look, silencing them immediately. Once that was done, he faced the other way and started toward Namine again. What if Namine never did see Roxas again? That thought pained her...a lot. She couldn't imagine life without him, and that was going to be reality very soon. But the question was, would it be temporary? That's what she really wanted to know.

"Then do it," another jock encouraged Jeff, stopping on the pathway about ten feet away from Namine. "C'mon, man, prove that you won't let some punk guy beat you up whenever he wants." "...Fine," Jeff spat, clenching his fists. He looked at Namine from the back, surprised she hadn't heard anything going on. But then again, he and his friends weren't talking too loudly. He curled his hands into light fists and started to approach her from behind. Namine exhaled silently, still gazing at the pond and still completely unaware that others were watching her. She was too wrapped up in her thoughts. Seeing Roxas today was a guarantee, but after he was gone, there were no guarantees. Absolutely none. What would happen? ...Would she ever see him again?

No idea. xD I've had it for a little while, now. I've got another one for Roxas and Namine, but I gotta work out a few kinks in it.
Sora lightly ran his fingers over Kairi's shoulder, his eyes staying forward. He would hate leaving her, but he had promised himself that he wouldn't dwell on those thoughts. No, he was going to work as hard as he could to make these last few days special. Namine clasped her hands together behind her back, blankly gazing at the water. Roxas would be there soon, she was sure. She had talked to him not too long ago on the phone, and at that point, he had just been leaving his home. As Namine was pondering Roxas' whereabouts, a group of guys walked down the park pathway. "Come on, Jeff, I dare ya," one guy said with a smile. "You're not chicken, are you?" "What?! Since when have I ever been chicken?" Jeff asked, pride coming through in his voice. He may have fled from a fight or two, but that was wisdom, not fright. There were some things he didn't want to get wrapped up in, and he felt as if the situation he was being forced into would be a bad one. But he was far too cocky to walk away from a challenge.

Namine stood about two feet away from a tree and about two feet away from a rolling hill that fell into the pond. Until Roxas arrived at the park, she had decided she would stand alone to give Sora and Kairi some privacy. After all, if she were in their position, she may have desired that. But they were only about ten feet away, so if they wanted her to join them, they could call for her. Sora sat next to Kairi on a bench, his arm around her as they gazed at the pond. He had noticed Namine off a little bit, but he figured that she was just thinking about something deeply, and he didn't want to interrupt her. So he stayed where he was with Kairi, giving the blond girl some privacy.

Sora released a breath, silently holding Kairi in his arms. He set his chin on top of her head lightly, his eyes falling shut. He'd be there with her for the next few days. And he'd be sure that the days were as great as they possibly could have been.
That's correct. =) And alrighty with Roxas. ;3
Sora stepped a little closer to Kairi, less than a foot between them now. He silently wrapped his arms around her and held her close, one of his hands staying lightly on the back of her red hair. He would hold onto her as long as was necessary, for both of their sakes. It was going to be hard in the future, but he had faith that things would work out.
