THis is the great thing about the anime for SnK. They took a character driven drama and said, "NAH!!!!! ACSHUN!" I don't like the comparison of Kill la Kill to TTGL. Firstly, because it's not fair to Kill la KIll, which is so far, better than its animation style predecessor. Secondly, because it's more akin to the flavor of PSG and Abenobashi, where it really wasn't over the top so much as out there. Clearly, they still have the big fights and whatnot, but that isn't the point like it was in TTGL. Also, SNAFU, My Little Author Can't Be This Databased, Tora Dora 2, World of Tanks: The Animation, WataMote and JoJo2013 were not mentioned in this thread. /khv/ officially has the shittest taste.
