Alright, here is a simplistic summary of the FOUR HOMESTUCK QUADRANTS USED IN THIS SHIPPING LIST. OH GOD THE QUADRANTS <3 MATESPRITSHIP Matespritship is technically the most similar to traditional "love" (and is accordingly represented through a heart), and is the most traditional form of romance. A KH-Vids example of a traditional Matespritship would be Wolfie <3 Fayt or Jayn <3 Fuzzy. <> MOIRALLEGIANCE Often described as "best friends for life", it is quite that but technically something beyond - more appropriate, being Moirails is more akin to platonic soul mates that assist each other greatly and work with each others' contrasts. Moirails would fall under a platonic sense. A KH-Vids example of a traditional Moirallegiance would be something perhaps akin to Makaze <> Sforzato. c3< AUSPISTICE This is a very interesting "relationship", because it is a platonic one that technically involves three partakers due to its mechanics. Auspistice, at root, is simply mediation between two conflicting parties - with the third partaker being the mediator. The two in conflict do not have to be KISMESES (which shall be touched upon later), but can still hold a certain dislike for each other that may erupt into conflict. A KH-Vids example of a traditional Auspistice would be (very simply since it is hard to pin a specific member-to-member example), Conflicting Member Part #1 c3< The Staff c3< Conflicting Member Party #2. <3< KISMESISSITUDE MUTUAL. EDIT: For a conclusion, I shall agree with one of Sforzato's previous posts in noting that only one (Matespritship) is something humans technically hold set standards for and the other three (perhaps barring Auspsitice since it is straightforward) are more loose and liquid, so to speak. I am honestly not quite sure what to label it per se, though I am currently using it as a signature! I shall give a preemptive warning beforehand - the sort of signature style is extensively unorthodox and very strange. This may be a positive or negative, perhaps? It primarily consists of irregular cropping to emphasize scene and effects here and there. I am not quite sure if it may even be considered a signature in the conventional sense. Perhaps it may be more appropriate to name it avant-garde experimentation in graphic art signatures by myself? Anyhow, enough of my incessant rambling!
