Some do look a bit washed out. They were horrible quality when I found them, I tried what I could to make them look decent. jpg is not very good for this, and much less when it's even of worse quality than most jpg's. Yes, you may use it. Glad you like.

A batch of avatars I made this morning. These were super low quality, I wrecked myself to make them as best as I could...feel free to use, just ask in this thread. And remember to CnC, since this is my second batch of avatars ever. I tried my best with these. Cnc?
I won't comment on the banner, but I will say about the avatars and signatures. In general. The Avatars look low-quality, and they have indication all over that they've been badly cut. The words don't look too hot, either. The only one that can be seen as decent is the sailor moon one. And that one, still could have used some sharpening. The sigs are a whole different painful story. The stocks look horribly cut; Nina's hair being the most noticeable one. The first one has barely any blending, and it might as well be pasted there. It just looks like you took a tile background, used some brushes, pasted the stock, and brushed a bit over it. The image isn't blended at all. There is no depth, and if there's any flow or lighting...I can't distinguish it. The second one has a nice background, the complaint here is that there's no blending, the cut doesn't look good(which could have been masked by blending) It looks, again, like you just pasted the image. The background itself has a nice depth. On both of them...the text has no blending. Both share little to none blending, and depth. I've always thought your sigs were rather unique, and that still stands, but it just looks like you're stuck in a rut....I can tell you, that my sigs and avatars could be classified better than yours, and that doesn't sound right...now does it? I'd recommend you re-think your GFX making strategies and read tutorials, and the use of fractals, C4d's and gradients. I don't say this to sound evil, or cruel...You cheered me on to start sig making, I'm doing the same by helping you improve.
I love the Evangelion ones...that's the new pilot!!!*squeal* All look pretty good, except the 2nd and 4th from the second line, since those look low quality. .... As for the sigs. I think the first one is nice, though it seems a tad bland, and there's depth in there, but way too blurry...I think that a little lighting and some smudging on the focal point would be nice. The second one looks like you took a night vision camera and took the pic. I think it's fine overall, but something doesn't sit right with it...I just can't pinpoint it.
It's a good /simple tag. I'm thinking the second one has better lighting. It could be blended a bit better, rising smoke or something. This one is a personal thought, but maybe another adding another color would be nice.
