These are pretty good. I think the fourth one is the one I prefer, the others have a somewhat bothersome color to my eyes(opinion). You cut at the correct places and they look fine. The 1-3 look somewhat grainy; The second one seems a little off with that distracting light. Try to experiment with the gradients and with lighting effects, at least until you start getting the hang of what you want.

Plus I like how you layer the flowers to create something beautiful. I'd like to do some signatures like these. As it happens, did you ever find a render? I myself tried, but found nothing at all. That wouldn't be too hard to believe if the girl continues on the right path, besides surpassing your creativity corner moderating would be easy...actually doing something, as opposed to nothing. I've spoken with her and I can attest that she's full of ideas and if she continues along those lines, then she'll do great. Unlike some others...
Not really, I'm thinking RvR is able to do this simply. Besides, I do think that awards are more memorable, even when they are simply sprites, they could be stored in our profile for everyone to see. I understand that the name color change is rather convenient and easier, but if something like this is to be done, then it's better that it be done right...of course if it's possible. I'm almost certain it is.

I saw on another forum that they had an actual awards system, I could provide links, since it's kept in history, but I'm not sure if the content of the website is permitted(not sure, since I stumbled upon it render searching) I think no, but they had this nice awards feature that would let you show them off and have them. It would be nice to implement something like this. And then we'd have awards to commemorate everything, ranging from poetry contests, graphic contests and User Awards. That other forum was Vbulletin and it was version 3.7.6....I think we'd have no trouble installing something like this?

This seems like a definite improvement of all your past work. It's great that you've followed some tuts. I like this quite so. And instead of blending the character isn't from the background itself, which I think is pretty genius, since I saw the tut and it has no blending, so you did the next best thing. Good job, Amethyst.
You're definitely getting better at this. I loved Only a dream, it was so amazing....I guess I can only seem to relate to it. I've seen the entry, and I must say....Darn....the poem is definitely a tough competitor. I'll try to whip up something as good as you, but I'm not sure that can be possible xD.
Yep. I'm a little surprised, but my poems aren't that popular, so it was to be expected. No biggie...I'd rather not have to compete with Styx, only to be blown away xD
Well, it's too late to be nominated now, but you see...only the coders know the code vault; it's like another place, not from KHV, so that could be it. Aside from that, I haven't seen Sinister around much anymore, that's one attributing fact. You might be premium, but you're barely around anywhere other than the Code Vault, and, as I said...it's not visited by popular members. Maybe next year?

lil woj....he's the joke choice, right? I nominated styx, because it's(keeps gender secret) poems are amazing, the vocabulary used is extensive and the meanings are always hard to decipher. It's kept it's poetry thread up to date with amazing prose and a broad sense in english, even when it's not it's main. I also see that it's bridged into new territory by posting poems in it's native language. Styx is the first choice. Shades, yes I love him and his poetry, and he knows that, but he hasn't been that active in the poetry scene this year, even when his poems make me go in tears and his words flow with an unusual and special rhyme to them, that makes you understand the strong feelings woven into each poem. I think it should go to either one of them.
I'd have to go with Advent. I know he's not as great as Laplace, but this year his sigs have been everywhere. I think this year he's the one that should win, since he's been the most active with graphic endeavors
