I tend to think so, that science and video games tend to go together. Won't be long that instead of disssecting a frog in biology, students are playing Trauma Center.
I don't know about throwing the pencils back at 'em, Repliku. Depending on where he's sitting in class, the teacher's more likely to spot him doing that back than the first incident. Which is sometimes the case; they don't spot the cause, just the effect. That's how it was when I was in school, and what my brother's doing now. Instead, if they throw a pencil at ya, pick it up, and say something like "Thanks. I broke the tip on my other one." If they poke you in the back with a pen, play like your back itches or something. Kill 'em with kindness, that's the best way of dealing with it. Don't get physical and fight back, a lot of schools don't care who starts a fight and will discipline all involved. I had that happen once; a girl punched me in the eye and I put my hands up to shield my face before she did it again, and she went home and said I punched her. She got a week of out-of-school suspension, I got one day in-house for "laying my hands on her". Just be careful.
Just thought of something else. Watch your space. Don't get too close (physically) that it makes her feel uncomfortable. And if she says "Don't do that", listen to her and don't push. My first boyfriend did just that, heck I broke the guy's nose twice cuz he'd stick his face so close to the back of my head and I wouldn't see him there, and I'd jerk my head back or something and WHAM. Or the kid would be all over me, on me, invading my space bubble, etc. and ask "You like?" and if I said "No, please move away," he'd press on. ANNOYING. And creepy. One of my guy friends in my group is "dating" ( as in, they've never gone out anywhere, they stay on campus in their dorm), and he's always wicked, wicked close to her face. Staring. Not kissing. Just staring. I can't see how she likes that.
Xenmas: "What exactly WAS I wearing?" Xigbar: "Uh...I guess I kinda shot myself in the foot there..." Xaldin: "Winds of fortune? Bull." Vexen: "Cursed global warming..." Lexaeus: "....................." Zexion: "." Saix: "Must've been a new moon..." Axel: "Damn, that was sappy. The heck was I on?" Demyx: "I SAID YOU SENT THE WRONG GUY!!!!!" Luxord: "Those were Xigbar's cards, not mine." Marluxia: "Why didn't I get flowers? I'm dead! Dead people get flowers thrown on them!" Larxene: "Um....time of the month?" Roxas: "But...but...swirly hair's +5 charisma!" *shrugs* Not quite as funny as some of the others here, but eh.
I can top ya. I saw them. LIVE. They spat Toblerones at me....but I got to take home the spin art they made earlier in the show. My favorite has to be "Drumbone".
Best part of that whole movie, Twilight. :D I still like Meeko and Flit from Pocahontas; Never mind the fact that neither one spoke, but they were just awesome.
Can I start whining now? I can? Good. *whine whine whine whine whine* I had better get a PSP by Xmas. I'm too poor to buy one right now.
Freakin' sweet, dude. Thanks. ^^
Let me see if I can help, seeing as how I am of the female variety. Start small. Whatever you do, DO NOT suddenly splash onto the scene and say something like "You are my everything" right off the bat. It scares us. You won't be just a dumbass, you'll be deemed a creep. So start by finding things you like to do together and just hang out first. Movies, hang out at the mall, pizza...stuff you'd do with your friends. You gotta learn to walk before you can run, right? Maybe offer to have her come visit the house once in a while and play games. Then maybe, just maybe, if the two of you are comfortable being around one another, say something about how you feel. I'm just saying don't come out with it right away, as it might scare her and you might even lose her as a friend. From my own personal experience, I met my BF three years ago, and we were friends before we decided to hook up. We seemed to just click, because the two of us always had something to do or talk about. We're both equally quirky, and anything we do or say to one another sets us off laughing. Maybe the same will happen for you with her. If not, at least you'll have a new friend and will learn from the experience.
I'd love one. I just gotta find a (semi-good) picture first, or you can rip my sig. Wait I gots it. Use this one of my manga char: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y122/Nashida/Vampire Maiden Stuff/Gift__Hzveros_by_Scarlet_Rose.jpg I'd love it if you could fit the eyes in the background in the shot. What to say...? I donno. Surprise me.
Yup. You are. Cuz that's totally his hair...fur...thing.
Slightly biased, but I'm gonna say the New England one because, well, I live a half-hour away from there. It's the only one I've been to. My brother went to Great Adventure...I think...the one that has Kingda Ka (sp?) in it.
I was in the 8th grade when it happened. We all had TVs in the classroom, and we had put them on after we had been told a plane hit, and just as we turned it on we saw the second plane crash into the tower. Still scares me, seeing that. And of all things, my history teacher's given us an assignment about it that involves watching the History's Channel's documentary on it, which is all first-hand accounts as the attacks happened. I'm trying to suck it up and think about the fact that it counts for a grade, but it's really hard. It's still a fresh wound. And it still scares me so much... That same day 7 years ago I was sitting in class with a friend whose parents were on the first plane to hit the WTC. I offer my prayers to anyone here who needs comfort today.
That was really weird. That poor snake just...deflated...
Refresh my memory...when did they make Re:COM? I know CoM on the GBA was quite a few years ago. It really makes no sense to me if they go KH, CoM, KHII......Re:CoM. It's like...backpedaling. I mean, if they release it, cool, I'll give it a rent or something, but I really doubt it, as it doesn't make much sense.
The only gripe I have about Gamestop is their trade-in policy. I brought in 4 games to trade in, they only took 3 of them, claimed one was too old, and I got less than $6 for those three games. On the other hand, I can typically get a new game there cheaper than my local Wally World, Target, etc., even if I get it the day it comes out. I tend to go there for gaming accessories for my DS, or newer games. I almost bought a DS lite for $90 from them (provided I trade in my old DS original for a $30 credit), but bought a silver/black Guitar Hero lite on eBay for $55, fresh outta the box. I guess my view's kinda neutral. The pros match the cons.
I tend to think they weren't. I've always thought of it this way: Larxene, being one of the lowest-ranked/newest members, wants more power/respect. Best way? Try to rub elbows with a higher-up, a.k.a Axel. She pulls off a "you scratch my back, I scratch yours" sort of thing, and Axel agrees, but only because he realizes she'll pretty much bend to his will if it means she can benefit from it. This ultimately leads to her downfall, which didn't faze Axel one bit. Of course, this just goes with my overall thought that Castle Oblivion was a separate "project" of sorts, and Xemnas or Xigbar had sent Axel as a spy to moderate the "experiment". I've always kinda thought he didn't belong there, in a sense, but I digress. Anyway, no. They weren't friends. They only tolerated one another so they could benefit from each other's abilities.
"DO RE MI-I-I-I-I-I-I" *glass shatters*
Lol, they're digging a hole in the middle of the street at school, and for whatever reason I didn't see the police line and walked square into it. *pulls paper bag over head*
I voted for all kinds, because I only dislike rap and country. I'll pretty much listen to anything. It just depends on my mood.
