Sora noticed Roxas' expression, some anger hidden beneath the surface. He gave his friend a weak smile, as if to say, You get used to Riku after a while. He was a bit bossy and overbearing at times, but he genuinely cared for people. That was something that wasn't lost on Sora. He started walking toward the cave, facing forward as he went toward his older friend.
History and Anatomy. =/ It's gonna be really hard. No problem, I understand. See you tomorrow after school?
Sora arched a brow slightly, but he didn't verbally question Roxas' facial expression. If he wanted to share, he would. He had to know that Sora was still there for him. Even after everything that happened lately, they were still best friends. He really hoped Roxas understood that.
Oh, I think I do. xD I'm so glad I don't have to take some of my finals. I've pretty much stopped paying attention in class--I'll just coast by...
"We'll leave tomorrow," Sora said, adding onto what he said before. With this new-found determination of his, he was wanting to get the job done as soon as possible. And to do that, they would have to go to new places. He took a few steps forward, limping faintly but not feeling terrible pain. He stopped when he was next to Roxas, giving him a look that said 'are you alright?' They hadn't had a chance to talk, and he wasn't sure if Roxas would want to. But if he did, Sora would be there for him.
Haha. xD Still, you're pretty lucky with finals. I bet you're looking forward to that next year.
Sora looked up. He had made up his mind; someday soon, he would get the answers he sought. He opened his eyes and turned around on his feet, his leg feeling so much better he didn't even grip it with his hand. Above him, the sun was setting, so he knew that it would be best to go somewhere else. "We should go inside somewhere," he said quietly to his friends, first looking to Roxas and then to Riku.
These Days- Rascal Flatts
GRR! If that were the case at my school, I would have no finals. Dx You have a lot to rub in, don't you? xP
...But Sora wasn't sure if he was ready to see her at this point. He felt as if there was more he needed to get done, one of those things concerning the past. It had been brought up last night, and it hadn't really left his mind. Castle Oblivion. What was the place Castle Oblivion all about, anyway? He was sure he wasn't ever there, but the name brought enough curiosity up for him to want to look into things. However, he would do it alone, since Riku obviously had a bad past there. And Roxas, well, he had enough to deal with.
Every Day- Rascal Flatts
I had an awesome teacher, so that helped. x3 Fortunately for me, I only have to take 2 finals instead of 5--if you had an A in the class for all 4...
Sora kept his head lowered, the thoughts continuing. And the sooner they got home, the sooner they could see the girls. Though Sora did miss Namine, since she was a good friend, he mostly yearned for Kairi. The love of his life...the person he fought for. He hadn't seen her in far too long, and his heart ached for her every day. Those thoughts motivated him, making him want to recover very quickly so that he could finish his job and return to her.
Two of my favorite subjects. x3 I loved Chem, even if it was a little challenging. And English I enjoy just because I like reading. But yeah, I'm...
Sora lowered his head, his eyes shutting as he released a heavy, but quiet, breath. It was hurting all right...but he had been expecting that. Hopefully it would fade away fairly quickly; then he could walk it off and be fighting again tomorrow. He and his friends had a lot of work to get done, and the sooner they finished it, the sooner they could go home.
Slow Fade- Casting Crowns
It's no problem; I enjoyed some free time. (: Don't think you have to stay on too long--I understand how bad finals are. Dx I have them next week.
We missed each other today, but it's okay. Guess we'll just have to get some RPing in tomorrow. ;3 I'll be on early afternoon...so hopefully I'll...
Sora nodded faintly, this time taking his friend's words to heart. Riku had a real point...at this rate, he would probably only make things worse. He took a step over toward the rocks that led up the path and set a hand against it, leaning his weight on his right side. He looked over his shoulder again at his friends before speaking his thoughts. "You're probably right," he confessed softly. "Maybe I should take a break." He wouldn't give up completely; instead he would wait until the pain subsided a little bit.
I'm not sure if I'll be on between now and when I get home. Tomorrow I'll be on sometime in the evening--probably around 7 or 8 my time. Hopefully...
