    Allergies.

I hate my allergies. I don't even know where I got them. My father's allergic to pet dander while my mother is allergic to bees.

Me? A glass of milk is essentially suicide. I've been that way since I was 6 weeks old. As of late it's settled down some; I'm probably the worst chocoholic in the family. But I'm not quite willing to down a glass of moo juice just yet.

I think it's maybe partially inherited, but it makes you wonder how, especially in my case where neither of my parents even so much as hint as a milk allergy. It makes you wonder where it came from before that.

I wasn't that big a fan of it. It's a castle, not an uber-long hallway. It's not the Imperial Palace.

On the other hand, to give Amano the benefit of the doubt, it's probably tedious work to have to draw every room, every detail over and over again. Like how Sora's got the Keyblade slung on his back rather than having to draw the summoning scenes over and over again.

I just came back from the family holiday party. My auntie gave me a truckload of makeup I'll never wear. She also gave me...

    wait for it...

First part ripped from my dead Swag Brag thread:

    -A WII
    -Rock Band for Wii
    -Mario Kart for Wii
    -Wii Sports
    -A tin full of chocolates
-A gold, silver, and brass necklace with medals that say "Live. Love. Laugh"
-An ice scraper that heats up when plugged into the car's port (which will come in very handy where I live)

From last night. This morning, however:
    -Garmin nuvi 200 GPS
-Mobile device holder thingy that fits in the car's vent rather than the dash (for the nuvi)
    -some T-shirts
-socks (I know, I know...but they're those wicked soft fuzzy ones from Bath & Body Works)
-slipper socks (same kind o' sock)
    -Re:CoM
-Copic ciao markers and paper (like, 44 o' them)
-two mini board game carabiners (Scrabble and Boggle)
    -wolf suncatcher
    -coffee scented pillow
    -coffee Nips caramels
    -Jordan Almonds
-Coffee 2 Go packet things (like what they did with Crystal Light, only coffee)
-a new amp for my guitar

I will have to come back and edit this later; I might have forgotten some stuff and I have a family party to go to tonight (which means more swag), and my bf is coming next week and he's spilled the beans about a gift.

Well, I got back from a dinner party tonight hosted by my college's school newspaper (which I write for), and I got a yellow fleece blanket and hot chocolate thermos, each engraved (or embroidered, in the blanket's case) with the newspaper's logo. Very stylish.

Repliku, I got that same L necklace for my roommate for a Chanukah gift. XD

EDIT: The Grandma came to visit, so we opened some presents while she was here. Now I can add:

    -A WII
    -Rock Band for Wii
    -Mario Kart for Wii
    -Wii Sports
    -A tin full of chocolates
-A gold, silver, and brass necklace with medals that say "Live. Love. Laugh"
-An ice scraper that heats up when plugged into the car's port (which will come in very handy where I live)

Clear your cache. My laptop tends to get sluggish if I don't clear my cache after a while.

This might sound kinda farfetched too but check and see if any updates are available for the comp. Mine always gets slow, unresponsive, and sluggish if an update is available, be it for software or the computer itself.

Personally, I like the second one best. The colors suit him better, since they're a tad darker than the one on top.

    Both look very cool, though.

I'm gonna try and make this an annual thing (if I remember). And I figured it fit better in here than, say, General Discussion.

So...what did you all get this year? Did you get what you wanted? Any surprises? Post about it here.

I have just a few, which were gifts from friends and my grandmother. There'll probably be a better list come tomorrow.

    -a wooden dreidel
    -see-through dice
    -$20
-a holiday glass with a candy cane, gumball, and candy necklace

    Your turn.

If your looking for scanlation of the manga, you'll have a hard time finding it on the net because it has been released in so many stores now. Actually, it's been out and on sale for about 2-3 years now. I know One-Manga used to have it, but since Tokyopop started releasing the books the scanlations have since been taken down.

Now it's started raining here. And it's dropped to 7 degrees. Which means by morning it'll freeze and turn into ICE.

    I liked snow better....

Thanks for all those links Toshi. We'll see what that does.

I've figured out the name of the pesky thing: it's called the Monder Trojan virus. Basically what it does is it attaches to the explorer.exe and win32.exe files. What it's been doing now is unblocking and allowing IE 7 to run even though we've firewalled it and any programs linked to it.

*tosses all the snow she's just brushed off of her car for a third time, tosses it in a box and hands it to Darkrequiem*

Trust me, I won't miss it. All yours.

I'd say that there is a chance, but only a slight one, of there being a global release. PuffinBoy made quite a few points as to why this would be so, too. So I'll just support what he said cuz I'm lazy right now.

What they neglected to tell me when I first started looking at the thing was that it started after the computer's most recent update, and that windows would pop up advertising something like Antivirus2009 or something. It's been on the news all over the place because of what the security leak does to the computer it infects.

What I've managed to do since my last post was another scan (where it founs yet another 3 viruses), reinstalled the Verizon Security Suite, and blocked IE 7 on the firewall. That seems to have worked so far.

Well, it's still snowing here. I just came in from blowing all of the snow off the driveway, and dusting my car off. Two dollars and a cookie says I'll have to go back out again in an hour or two.

I've had three friends from school come online and grumble at me because the college was closed and they can't make up their finals from Friday.

We have quite the storm going right now in the Northeast. It's a little over 7" outside right now. Nce change of pace from the ice stor we had last week, when so many people were without power. And we're supposed to get more come Sunday. Gonna be a white Xmas this year, methinks.

Anyone else got the white stuff yet? How much?
