Wii Play is good, but only two people can play it at one time. With Wii Sports up to four can play, so if you were to pick one of those I'd go with Sports. I think the only game in there that only two people play is Baseball; everything else is up to four.

Mario Party is also a good choice, because even if you don't play the board maps the mini games are fun and addicting, and make use of the remote in so many different and fun ways (like that one game where you shake soda cans to see whose sprays the highest)

Carnival Games is also good, but I don't have that game and only ever played it once so I can't offer much insight on that.

It would be cool to have that., but like everyone else said it's highly unlikely they'll put it in. The closest we'll get will probably be the multiplayer mode that's been mentioned in the past.

    You too? XD

Took me at least a week to get those damned coconuts the first time around as well. I couldn't figure out which ones, how to pick them up, maybe I should just kick them at Kairi, etc.

I don't know if she counts as a princess, but Mulan is definitely my favorite. She's definitely a good role model for younger girls who need to believe in themselves more.

Well, it's new news to me, if it makes you feel any better. Plus, wasn't there some rumor going around back then anyway that said something about not being able to do voices on a DS game anyway? hearing that Flynn is voicing means that somehow they must have managed to make it work.

    Snow

I'm getting hit with storm tonight. It's calling for a foot or so of snow. Yay New England.

I've got boxes in the breezeway ready to fill if any members want some. I am pretty sure I can spare it.

Err...not that I can remember from my grade school days. I do remember taking this random test thing called the ASVAB test, where based on how you answered certain question, it would tell you what kind of job you would have. I remember distictly getting poet, writer, and architect, while right now I am finishing up my teaching degree. It felt like a pencil and paper verison of a paper fortune teller.

I think it was done by the military...

Yesh. Do it. I bought my copy almost months after everyone else here did, and I sure do regret not getting it sooner, it's that much fun.

Some other good ones to look for if you change your mind are Trauma Center (if you can find it), Super Mario 64 DS, Picross is very addicting, FF III and IV, Mario Kart DS, Zelda: Phantom HourGlass, to name a few.

For the record, my first ever DS game was the first Trauma Center. I still haven't beaten it yet. I'm stuck on the bomb level.

Nice to see he's staying as our favorite red-headed Nobody. Let's just hope he sticks with his KHII voice, not the...umm.... horny-sounding one he used in Re:CoM.

Where I live, there' beena huge push to fight against obesity in schools. But I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this:

What this means is that on top of schools checking your vision, your spine (scoliosis), and hearing, now they get to tell you you're fat? I can't believe it. I don't know; I feel that's taking it a little too far. What happens when it's not just diet, but family history or genes?

    Thoughts?

Nope, waitresses/waiters get paid that as a minimum, the bulk of their pay comes from tips. And even then the tips have to be divided even further still.

Do a little research on it, it's rather shocking.

I was looking at a craft store that was nearby, and one of my coworkers from the pool store is already working there and told me she'd vouch for me if I did apply there.

I also thought about working part time as a translator at the hospital, but I'd end up shelling out a month's worth of pay just to take a certified Spanish medicine course. Because the way that works is I have to be certified to speak Spanish in a hospital setting. It's no different than having to take a driver's test or taking a CPR course.

I'm just going to have to keep my eyes peeled, I guess.

In_The_Twilight, I debated trying the food industry but with pay being $2.15/hr plus tips where I live, there's no way that's work. Never mind the fact that a tiny misunderstanding will leave you tipless, and let's not forget the dine-n-dashers. If that ever happened I'd have to pay for it out of my own pocket.

I appreciate the help and don't want you to feel I'm bashing or anything, just saying that where I live working in a restaurant or pub wouldn't really work out.

For a tad bit of background info, I'm a sales rep at a local pool store. I've been working there for more than two years, and I had started as a cashier. My boss soon realized I had what he liked in a sales rep, and promoted me. I went from making minimum wage to $20/hour plus commision. It was fantastic.

I went to work yesterday and before I got through the door I was hustled back out. Before I could say anything my boss goes "I'm sorry. Things have been way too slow here. I'm afraid you don't work here anymore."

I got laid off. I didn't think that would happen, even though the economy isn't so great, especially since we had just started adding hot tubs into our inventory and were selling those like hotcakes. And our busiest time comes around Memorial Day, since everyone opens their pools that day and nine times out of ten something is wrong with it.

Now, it wasn't just me who was laid off; I had been warned by a coworker that this was what was going on. There were maybe 10 people on our whole staff, including three managers. Now all that's left is those three managers. I think what'll happen next is my store will close for good if they can't keep staff on hand.

I know I need to try to start looking for another job, but no one is hiring now and I go back to college in less than a week. I do have a small job on campus, but I only work weekends and the pay is $70/wk. And that job is only good while school is actually in session, so that does me no good over the four months of summer break I get. I was planning on using the money from the pool store to make a downpayment or deposit on an apartment and finally get out of here and be on my own. Now it doesn't look like that will be happening unless I can get another job that has the potential to pay as well as that one did.

This is just driving me nuts. As if the economy didn't suck enough, I get dealt the worst hand I could possibly get. It's just enough to make me....grrrr...

2003 Hyundai Accent GL. It's baby blue. Well...at the moment it's a big ol' ice cube shaped like a car...

My first car was a Mazda. I love them, they're such hardy little things. I drove a Mazda 626 as my first car, and when it finally wore out it had well over 150k miles on it. I would gladly get another one, but I'm loving my little Hyundai too much.

Definitely Repliku 4. Yeah, Axel's Firetooth attack the second time fighting him took a couple tries to beat, but he went down rather quickly. Marluxia...well...he's a pansy (sorry about the weak pun!). But Riku took me a month to beat in the GBA version the fourth time around, and a week in Re:CoM. So I'd say he's the hardest.

    I probably would've given it a 4/5 myself, but 3/5 isn't bad. GameInformer Magazine gave it a 6.5 if I remember right. 6.5 or 7.25, I think.

Your resident gambler* is leaving to go to Atlantic City tomorrow morning to make sure her rewards points and comps stay fresh for the summer (since they now get deleted after 6 months of non-use) I should return Thursday.

Here's to hopefully coming back with more than a barrel and suspenders as clothes.

*By gambling I mean play a buck on slots, get a drink, play another buck on slots, shop, look around, etc. I very rarely drop a ton of cash in a casino.
