Random question, what kind of browser are you using? If you use IE, it should have saved to your hard drive. If you're using Firefox, it's in a completely different folder.
Been pretty good. Sorry it took so long to reply; I had errands to run today. I guess that's what I get for putting off all my teaching work until...
Nice update, both of you. Looks like Neverland is a Xion-Roxas-Axel mission, maybe, since the last shots we got had Roxas and Xion there. Looks like we see more Axel and Saix conflict...
Just added ya. :)
I'm guessing AVG is your antivirus program, so if it's stopped working then something might have gotten into the computer. Do you have another antivirus program to scan for any viruses or spyware by chance? Becaue I've got a sneaking suspicion that whatever you downloaded before had something attached to it that's causing you problems. If you can find that file, try to clean it with another spyware remover or just delete it.
I've probably posted this before, but Dr. Demento's "Fish Heads" is a bit on the bizarre and funny side. There's this one song I caught on the local rock radio station that I'm trying to find out the name of...I only caught a bit of it where it said something like "No one's getting smarter because all the stupid people are breeding" or something like that. I almost crashed the car I was laughing so hard.
Oh...has anyone else been getting these odd script errors? Like, I'll click my browser's back button and a script error window pops up, and it takes 20+ clicks to get it out of my face.
And here I am thinking it was my own Internet messing me up like that.
Caterpie. I am the master.
No kidding. *knocks on wood* College is in a bad area, so I count my blessings each day and panic whenever I hear sirens around.
Kinda reminds me of when I was in high school . It seemed that we had one of those threats a month. There was one time we had a threat on a day we had an early release, and we were in lockdown for two hours before they decided to let us all go home. It was because someone found deer slugs (bullets) near the office windows. And in college, we've had two threats: one threatened to blow up the school, nother was because someone drew a pen!s on the gym floor. Good times.
Good luck hon, and kudos to you for putting your education first. We'll be here when you come back.
I just went through the same thing with another friend of mine who just hated Hispanics in general. If you read my thread in Help With Life, you'd see she liked "joking" around about them being shot, among other things, and when I called her out about it and told her that wasn't right (because I'm a quarter Mexican myself, and I'm studying to be an ESL teacher), she just told me to f*cking grow up. So I parted ways. So ask her if she really was joking around, and if she wasn't tell her to pull her act together or you just might not be friends with her anymore. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who was that racist and constantly took jabs at my heritage. She needs to know that those jokes aren't funny and actually can hurt people.
Totally Baron von Kickass. Although I do second the previous mention of Squeaky.
*college student facedesks herself for forgetting that piece of info*
What time do you have your Spanish class? I'm not going to say it's because of sleep (or lack thereof), but maybe it has something to do with your metabolism. For example, I have several classes at college that run into mealtimes, and as such, I crash because my body says "Foooooood i needz it nao...." So try smuggling a snack that you can nibble on into class and see what that does. If that's not it, let me think a little more. I was going to suggest having a tape recorder on so you don't completely miss the lecture, but what if you fall asleep listening to that later on?
I like 'em. They're cute, funny, and give you the gist of what happens in the game. Only thing I don't like is they're too short. KH was...what...4 volumes that could've been two? With little to no world encounters? Same with CoM: most of the manga, if not all, was set in Castle Oblivion.
Well, I'm trying to cope right now...I posted several months ago that i got laid off from the pool store job I was working at...I have a job on campus while I'm in college, but only on the weekends, so it's not as much as I was getting, but it's still something. In my state (MA), they've proposed a wage freeze to try and avoid laying off teachers, police, healthcare, etc. even though so many have been laid off already.
I've been meaning to update this, because some more stuff has gone down since then, and I've forgotten to post. She's still treating this whole thing like a joke, and she really got to me the other day. I work in the cafeteria at the college, and most of the workers down there are Puerto Rican, Portuguese, etc. When they found out I couls speak Spanish, the floodgates opened. I'm their bestest best friend because they find it so cool that someone understands them. I mentioned it's my major and one of them just about wept because he thought it was just so cool. So I was at lunch and one of the workers went on break and came to talk to me for a while. The whole time he was there I ping-ponged between talking to my friends in English and talking with him or translating something into Spanish so he could join in. He got a kick out of it because he felt like he belonged, and the rest of the group thought it was cool to see me in action. Except for 'Sara'. As soon as he came over and started chatting with me, she made this face that I call the "catbutt" face. She just started pouting at him and scowling. When he finally left, she said "Thank God. It's bad enough they're stealing our jobs, but they gotta butt in to our conversations too?" I just couldn't believe it. I was thankful the poor guy wasn't around to hear that, lest I have to translate that for him. A couple group members chewed her out, so she got up and left, clearly not liking that they were siding with me.
I was born a Christian, but shortly after I was confirmed I converted to Wicca and have loved it since then. I guess I've always loved the idea of drawing energy from various spirits and elements and somewhat being able to control what happens to you over some other higher power. Now, that doesn't mean I've closed out God completely. I still do believe He exists, and I know sometimes He tends to like to remind me He exists (like when I got into a car crash that should have killed me, but I only sprained my foot). I just don't feel I can be as devoted as my aunt, grandmother, and father can. My mother is the only one that supports my choice. She's asked me to do several rituals and magic spells on her now.
