I'm going to have to give an extra nod to the Professor Layton mention, because I just got that myself and I'm having a ball with it. Then again, I'm into those sort of little quirky games and was instantly won over by it. I have TWEWY, and I like it, so go get that. The Final Fantasy games can't be missed either, and neither can the three Pokemon games (I wasn't a big fan of Rangers or Mystery Dungeon). If I dip further into my personal collection I can offer up Super Mario 64 DS, Phantom Hourglass, Mario and Luigi Partners in Time, both Trauma Centers, and Rayman DS (for old times sake).
One year to go and I'll be doing my dream job: teaching. I've been in training to becaome licensed to teach in an elementary classroom, and I'm almost done.
I can see where you're coming from here, because I'm in the same boat (sort of...I'm not a fella). Unfortunately we live in a society now that almost seems to frown on "formal" relationships and runs instead on people having multiple partners and having sex with multiple partners. Nobody seems to want to commit. In your case, I wouldn't say it's because of you that girls keep breaking up with you. Some girls like treating men like handbags: every few months they pick one out, carry him with them everywhere, find a new one and toss you in the back of a closet, and maybe if you get lucky she'll pick you out to match with an outfit or something. I've seen too many girls around here do the same thing (I have one friend who's dated 15 guys, and still has relationship ties with about 7 of them). I bet in reality you are very sweet and gentleman-like, but it sounds like those chicks just want sex and figured out they weren't going to get any within the first hour of hooking up (*kudos to you if you do take it slow; I hate when men go too fast).
Eh. That's what he gets for saying "You're gonna love my nuts" in that new commercial of his. Girl just wanted a side dish to go with them.
I did it...it was kind of odd because I must have been the only person in my dorm to do so, despite there being a huge Facebook group thing going on for it before hand. It's a nice idea, but I doubt it will do much in the long run. Kinda like that "Tv Turn-off Day/Week" thing.
Congrats, Sora. You're a toddler today. XD
Sulley from Monsters Inc. is my fave. He kind of reminds me of my dad: can be scary when he has to be, but is really this 6 foot tall softie. Dory's definitely a second fave, if only for the lulz.
It kinda looks like what would happens if they stuck KH: ReCoM's cover and TWEWY's cover in a blender. Would make an interesting and eye-catching cover indeed. Looks better than what was on the Gamestop site a few months ago when the preorder thing buzzed around.
Poster. I don't make too many threads, and the ones I do very rarely go over one page (save for that In Your Pants game I made in the spam zone that one time...that grew to epic proportions)...Although maybe these days I'm more of a lurker since if something doesn't seem interesting, I don't post.
I take it you've never seen the Rugrats special All Grown Up, when the babies went from toddlers to tweens in a matter of seconds. Back to this...I kinda lol'd when I first saw this on Yahoo News. And if I can be honest, at least she doesn't look like those damned Bratz dolls. I don't think the design's half bad.
Nashida's been a penname of mine for almost 7 years now. She was born when I was really big into Yu-Gi-Oh!, and was the yami character of a fan character I had made. She was essentially me. Then over the years she kinda evolved into my internet persona, and I haven't been able to part with it since. Once, just for shits-n-giggles, I searched for my username in a baby names book. Turns out it's real: it's Indian (as in India) for "student" and is most often given to young girls.
Since when we were worth points when we were hit? They're fighting back, I tells ya.
I say CD, simply for the sake of if something ever happened to your computer and it had to be wiped or reformatted you would have the disc nearby with your music on it. It wouldn't be completely lost. That, and (well, in my case, anyway) you can still listen to it elsewhere without the computer, like in the car or a CD radio, but who has those anymore? *coughmecough*
KH II for me, though I did like some of the music in KH. I need some tracks from CoM, I have yet to truly enjoy those.
I had been working on a manga, but I kind of lost interest in it and as of late have stuck to writing the script out rather than draw and write. It's called Vampire Maiden. I mostly write fanfics or stories that happened in dreams, and I write them in those lined lab notebooks because they are much easier to carry around. I have one KH fanfic that I written that is on its third "book".
I used to chew pens when I was younger, but I've stopped since then because that literally backfired on me... Now, I have a horrible lip chewing/picking problem, especially if my lips get chapped, or I'm feeling nervous I just nibble at 'em. And it's so bad for 'em too...I bet I wouldn't get so many cold sores if I stopped. I'm working on stopping my habit of taling to myself, but that will be harder to de because that's how I organize my plans and must-dos for the day.
Let me help jog your memeroy. Remember the remake of The Parent Trap, in which Lindsey Lohan starred as the twin girls? Richardson was the mother they were trying to get reunited with their dad. Supposedly she had gone from joking about her fall to being braindead to just being dead. I remember hearing she was braindead yesterday morning, so they must have just had family and friends come to say goodbye before disconnecting her from life support.
I can't believe a story hasn't been posted about this yet; it's pretty recent news. The head injury they refer to below could either have been an aneurysm (when an artery's wall weakens and balloons out, until it bursts) or what a video linked on the site below describes as "brain rotation"-damage and tearing to the brain as a result of being rotated in the skull after a tramatic impact, such as a fall. It is known thus far that she was not wearing a helmet. Source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/obit_natasha_richardson
I've been saying Shy-on, could be Shee-on, and with our luck as far as Marluxia's name came out in Re:CoM it could be Zay-on or Shay-un or something rediculous.
Ok...then go to Windows Help on your computer and search for System Restore, then have System Restore roll your computer back to the last restore point it made (preferably before you downloaded whatever you did). Your computer will guide you through the steps. And unfortunately that's about as far as I can go as far as help...I'm still running XP Pro so I don't know much about Vista...
