Thank you dearly for the loving of my avatar! You are also familiar with Eureka Seven AO?
I enjoyed the final episode there immensely, but as stated before there were a few troublesome parts - namely, for me, the pacing (as Jiku described it, "forced") and also I feel very bad for Asami to be honest. But as for the characters we have an entire second season to wrap up things further. But my entire problem with that is the fact that this season conclusion appears to have wrapped up literally 98% of the things in the series and the second season would feel disjointed unless they are able to find a small thread end to tie things together again. A few things. One, mainly, is that the connection to a second season could have been more fluid if Korra did not regain her bending in the end, or (as Sforzato discussed earlier) the ending was left vague enough to both be conclusive to the twelve episodes as if they were a series in itself (as was intended) or in the possibility that the twelve episodes would be one of two requested seasons (as has happened). Second, I personally found the entire backstory involving Tarrlok and Amon wonderful, with one problem. The pacing. The pacing, the pacing, the pacing. As Jiku stated earlier, everything felt rushed and forced and et cetera. We received a single exposition bomb near the end, really, and things could have gone out longer. (though I did appreciate the subtle hints and foreshadowing that was strewn through the previous episodes - that is definitely a positive point!) Essentially, my major qualm would be how everything had so much potential but seemed to be fairly stunted and squished in length. I do believe the first season would have been much stronger if it was not in fact only a "first season" and the entire Amon arc lasted the entire series. We do not necessarily have a character that can be concretely considered a major villain at the moment, except perhaps Sato, which I can definitely see being a major villain in the future as the Equalists rally around a powerful and influential non-bender and Republic City figure. If this is the case, I hope season two expands more upon (per Jube's concerns) Asami's character at the least, and hopefully the characters in general. But for all it has been worth, the action scenes really were quite breathtaking, the emotional scenes certainly emotional, and the ending satisfying at least to an extent. I found the entire intertwined backstory of Tarrlok and Amon, and their relation to the notorious Yakone with Republic City's past to be very well written, putting aside the pacing. The backstory of these two brothers, whose fates had intertwined themselves with a city representing the future of the world, was in my opinion one of the best side-stories of the sort in the series, and Mike and Bryan did an excellent job giving hints and foreshadowing to this. Of course, though, the pacing near the end became too rapid and squished, and the exposition bomb could have been written better. If this story was drawn out more and given away through more subtle acknowledgement, it would have definitely been much stronger. Now I simply feel horrible for both of them. Also, I feel horrible for Asami. So horrible. This series is one of the few where I have been averse to shipping because it seems so convoluted. To be honest, I did indeed love the season finale despite its flaws, and I have high hopes for what season 2 will bring. I cannot really expand upon my critique at the moment because we do still technically have twelve more episodes left and Mike and Bryan have in my opinion been very talented writers for Korra so far (with the exception of pacing, of course).
Why yes, I am very good friends with Saxima.
Interpretive dance?
You are adorable. I hope Kyouko received as many cuddles as possible from you, sir.
Ooh, I wish you luck then. Persona 3 really is a wonderful game. And is that so? Well, they are not out yet, you see! I take it you have you to...

I always adore this photoset. Shhhhh, no, do not do this madam. If everyone loses faith in humanity then there is no hope for ever improving ourselves, is there?
You are indeed correct! So far Watson has ejaculated four times.
This thread is a work of art. *watches intently* Also I absolutely adore Jube's special.
Her voice could bring back the dead. I mean, simply look - we already have Iroh back.
Seeks asteroids.

Very true, but it can be argued that many of these categories rely on subjectivity and opinion. Granted, if the wording is the problem, perhaps something like Most Eclectic Musical Taste, or perhaps something else like Most Unique Musical Taste could work?
