Odd enough for me to post comp help here, but I need it. My lappy updated itself yesterday, it currently runs WinXPPro with SP3. I figured it was no biggie, it around that time of month for it to update anyway. I turn it on this afternoon and I'm poking around my files and stuff, doing some work, when I notice double-clicking doesn't do what it used to. I click on a file once, say, a picture, and the drop-down menu that shows up when I usually right click the mouse shows up on a left click. So now I have to manually open files that way rather than double clicking them. Is there a way to fix it so it goes back to opening things on a double click rather than this drop down menu thing it's doing now? If so, where in the Control Panel would that be? I tried looking under Folder Options but found nothing. It's a weird little thing that's been bugging my most of the afternoon.
I only ever keep those if I can tack on the words "in bed" to whatever the fortune says and it's actually funny. Like, "Constant grinding can turn an iron rod into a needle" (actual fortune)
CtR's gonna be topping meh... Anyway, it's June 29th, 1988.
Factor in the fact that they've sunk and are probably waterlogged, which could mess with the internal working and electrical connections inside the boxes and the race seems a lot shorter. Just checked the news: 16 bodies have been found now, and supposedly a piece o the plane itself. Maybe now they'll hone in on those boxes.
Gaia, Customers Suck!, Lilymud ( a TLK fan art board), What The Flowers (my college's anime club forum), Temple of the Warriors of Earth and Sky ( my covent's forum), Magic: the Gathering forums. I think I use CS! and Gaia the most as of late.
Last I checked, they found more than two bodies (can't remember how many exactly), some luggage, and a leather briefcase with a plane ticket for the doomed flight. What's unnerves them now is they are still no closer to finding the black boxes than they were before the discovery of the bodies. The black boxes will them exactly what happened to make the plane go down.
I voted other, because I love Fox and the Hound but so many say it was a box office flop when it first came out. It's such a sad movie and deserves more love than it gets. The sequel that came out for it, though...I'd rather drink turpintine than watch that.
When was the last time you updated Spybot? I update it once a week myself, and always manually. You may have missed an update or a new version of the program in the last update. I second the Avast! movement previously mentioned, but if you don't mind shelling out the cash Malwarebytes is very effective.
Yo he estudiado espanol para siete u ocho anos ahora, hasta mi escuela secondario. En mi universidad, la lenguaje es mi especialidad porque yo quiero ser maestra que pueda ensenar en espanol a los espanolhablantes. (If you can translate/understand that, you get a cookie.)
I have the shirt in the pic. I bought that...late March? Can't remember. I wore it for my college's Accepted Student's Day to promote Anime Club.
Drat. My money was really on Ale there. Granted, this is supposed to be a kid's game, so "Ale" isn't exactly a good pick, but still...
Whiplash is what happens when the car comes to a complete stop but your body is still moving around. It's physics: objects in motion tend to stay in motion. The doctor was checking to make sure your internal organs didn't suffer any damage from being tossed around on impact, and was also probably checking for signs of a concussion because your brain could have been bruised as well.
Two years ago I was in my very first and only crash. I was driving. I was waiting to turn left at an intersection and waiting to see when I would e clear to turn. Just then a car coming towards me in that side's left turn lane decides he's going to go straight instead and hits me on the drivers side from the headlights down to the back door at about 45 mph, and also ran the red light. I had two passengers in the car with me. None of us were terribly hurt: I had sprained my left foot on impact and had the typical seat belt/ airbags burns, so did my front seat passenger. The passenger behind me had his seat belt lock on impact, so he had some bruising, but nothing too serious. My car was one giant piece of super strong metal. The other car ( a Dodge, I might add) had the driver's side window shatter, so the guy had glass in his arm. All four of us went to the hospital; me and my friends were released within two hours. I had been cited initially for failure to yield at the light, but I fought the charge and insurance and won. It was finally determined back in October that the other driver was clearly at fault, so we were refunded our deductible. His insurance ended up paying for everything. I've still got pictures of the cars and the intersection somewhere.
I have quite a bunch of those, but many of them I haven't even tried yet. I'll have to check them out. I feel that this list should eventually be stickied at some point...would make a great sticky and stop those "I has DS, what should I play?" threads.
I actually bought a collector box a long time ago of that series. Had the vol. 1 DVD, 4 pencil boards, and a plush ferret in it. Haven't exactly had a chance to watch it yet. But if you say it's good, I shall.
*is trying very very very VERY hard not to insert a "Imma firing my lazor" joke into an otherwise intelligent topic...* *failed at it before she pressed the "Post Reply" button.*
Cinnamon coated almonds, aka Nutty Bavarian. I had a bag of those a couple weeks ago...so good...
I like 1, 4, 6, and 8 the best. They all look good, but having a dismembered limb holding a weapon kind of weirds me out a bit. If I picked one to use, it would probably be 6. That's a great shot of Demyx.
^ Thank you. I was gonna say since rap is a form of expression and music is also a form of expression, that makes rap music. One of those if A=B and B=C, A must = C things.
If only I could get away with that at my job at the hotel. My boss would probably let it slide. Corporate....not so much. That lady gets kudos from me for putting up with such an EW.
